Marrakech

Featuring an ideal position just 10 minutes from Mohammed VI Avenue, this hotel in Marrakech offers the perfect base from which to explore all this stunning region has to offer. This luxurious establishment is just a few steps from the Medina and is surrounded by Atlas Mountains and ample golf courses ideal for those learning the game or experienced golf enthusiasts. This magnificent complex offers a choice of stylish and boutique-style accommodation units featuring either a private terrace or a garden for guests' convenience. Those most demanding travellers may prefer the outstanding suites with a private heated pool, ideal to take a dip in the colder winter months. The state-of-the-art spa area includes an oriental hammam where to forget daily stress and enjoy an unparalleled experience of relaxation, while sports lovers can watch their favourite matches in the onsite shisha sport bar.

Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.

An oasis of calm!

A superb hotel, a little oasis of calm away from the madness of the centre of Marrakech. Rooms and facilities lovely, food varied and great quality. The staff are absolutely superb, especially around the pool. Great free shuttle service making it super easy to get around. A wonderful stay and would highly recommend!

Beautiful boutique hotel with amazing staff, peaceful surroundings and spacious comfortable rooms. Perfect for anyone lo

We stayed at Sirayane Boutique Hôtel & Spa for 6 nights at the beginning of May and overall had a really lovely experience. The hotel itself is stunning throughout, with beautiful grounds that create a calm and relaxing atmosphere away from the busy streets of Marrakech.

The staff were amazing from start to finish. Everyone was welcoming, friendly and attentive, which genuinely made the stay feel special. The rooms are spacious, bright and comfortable, and the whole hotel has a very peaceful boutique feel to it.

We stayed on a bed and breakfast basis which worked perfectly for us, as we wanted to spend most days and evenings out exploring the Moroccan culture, food and atmosphere that Marrakech has to offer.

The hotel is a little further away from Jemaa el-Fnaa, the Medina, Gueliz and Menara, but in many ways that’s actually a positive because it allows you to escape the hustle and bustle after a long day. The hotel also provides a free shuttle service to Jemaa el-Fnaa, and from there it’s easy to grab a taxi into Gueliz or surrounding areas. They also offer a private car service for around €20 which is convenient.

There were only two small downsides for us.

  1. The rug in our room could probably do with a deep clean as there were a few visible stains. It wasn’t a huge issue for us as we don’t really walk barefoot around hotel rooms anyway, so it was more the visual aspect than anything else.
  2. Because of the hotel’s location there is literally nothing within walking distance. It’s not a dealbreaker at all, but perhaps a small grocery or convenience shop on-site would make things even better for guests staying multiple nights.

Overall though, Sirayane is a beautiful hotel with fantastic staff and a peaceful atmosphere. We would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a quieter, more relaxing base while visiting Marrakech.

Mixed bag, definitely an experience!

Visited here last week of May 2026. First things first this is in no way a 5* property, not by any standard.
Location - Your taxi ride to the hotel goes through the largest building site I've ever know (not the hotels fault, Marrakech is in full on building mode as co-host of the 2030 World Cup), that being said it still looks terrible, the road up to the hotel is also very bumpy. On arrival you'll be presented with a 20 foot high closed door with no discernible method of opening, we had to bang on the door at 10pm to get somebody to let us in - no security on the main gate that night (although there is during the day!) However all of this being said, in the day the hotel is very peaceful and completely removed from the madness of the city centre.

Rooms - The rooms were nice when first kitted out about 10 years ago, but feel tired now. The carpets and rugs definitely need a deep clean/burning. The walls are VERY thin, we ended up having to do a late night room change due to somebody playing music for 6 straight hours one evening. This was after the room above had been playing ball in their room at 06:30.

Hotel - Looks great in the photos, but just like the rooms - it was great. Now a little tired. Doesn't look like they do much routine maintenance / decorating. The external walls certainly need a paint. The pool area is only saved by the attitude of the excellent pool area staff, the stitching on the beds is coming apart and the bed bases old and tired. Umbrellas have the spikes pushed through where the fabric has ripped, again just old and need replacing.

Food and drink - Expensive and uninspiring. A VERY limited menu for lunch and evening meals. The hotel doesn't seem able to serve hot food, so please bear that in mind when ordering. At breakfast be prepared for nothing to be covered up and the food to be covered in flys. The coffee machine in the buffet area is just instant coffee. We found out on the last day from another guest that you could order fresh coffee from the bar to be served with your breakfast, nobody from the hotel had bothered to tell us this. The overall quality of the food is poor/average but with a premium price tag. Having drinks through the day will involve you remortgaging your home. There are no snacks available to buy, your best idea is to book an Uber to Menera Mall where'll you'll find a Carrefour. Big bottles of water there are less than a dhiram each, 4.5 at the hotel. Also everything else you may need.

Staff - Complete contrasts here. The pool area staff cannot do enough for you, moving umbrellas giving you clean towels and checking you're OK (they also really like a tip at the end of the trip, but then again who doesn't?!). The cleaning staff are great, very courteous and do a good job.
Bar/waiting staff can be hit and miss, some great but all generally very slow at delivering your order.
Spa staff, we booked a few treatments and the staff were really nice, this completely changed when we cancelled these a few days later (personal reasons). The treatments were reasonably priced and the area looked good.. Reception staff, should be avoided at all costs. Rude doesn't write cover it. With the exception of the one nighttime duty manager who helped us move rooms, they're not interested in guests at all. However if you want to book one of their overpriced taxi rides or book in for some of their (allegedly) commission free trips then they are amazingly helpful.

Marrakech - Use the Uber app to get around is my advice. Local taxis have a habit of not using the meter and overcharging. If you have to use them, agree a price first. Only issue with Uber is a lot of them don't like going that far out, so you'll get a few cancelled drivers. You'll also need to get away from the Medina/Souks to be picked up. If you've never been before I'd recommend booking into a guided tour to get you through the Medina and Souks, certainly the first time you visit. Not as daunting the second time around then! Food on the whole (outside of big restaurants) is a gamble. refrigeration is optional/non-exisitent and food left uncovered.

Overall - The hotel is OK. If it was billed as 3* then it would be about right. Marrakech itself is mad, but an amazing place to visit (probably just the once!)

Our little Marrakech paradise oasis.

Firstly, as we all know reviews are very subjective and this one will be totally positive as we spend a very pleasant 4 night stay at this wonderful 5 star hotel at the start of June 2026.

In advance of arrival, I had email exchanges with Sales Manager Fatimazahra and Kachchach from Reservations Department, both of whom were very helpful with advice and room accommodation requests to ensure we received the accommodation of our choice.

Yes, the hotel is away from the general hustle and bustle of Marrakech centre but for us this did not in any way prove to be possible problem – in fact during our visit we found no need at all to leave the hotel complex. It was perfect for us in wanting a fully relaxing and quiet time away.

On arrival we were dealt with very quickly with a welcome drink of Moroccan tea, paperwork completed without any drama at all and soon on our quick tour of resort and ending in our room.

We were delighted with our ground floor apartment with private garden, only a short walk away from the pool and other facilities. We found all staff to be very welcoming, accommodating and only too happy to help in any way they could throughout our stay.

Our package that we booked was full board. Breakfast was self service buffet and while it did not provide a ‘full English’ we were given other choices including eggs cooked any way we wanted, omelettes, fresh fruit, selection of breads and pastries. Lunch and dinner was from the ‘all inclusive’ menu, and we thoroughly enjoyed both the choice of Moroccan style food and the International menu. The restaurant caters for both indoor and outdoor dining and no dress code was given, and gents were able to wear shorts and open toe footwear if they wanted.

My wife has said that In leaving this review she would want to praise the Spa staff for the excellent massage treatments we both had and I’m sure if we had booked for longer we would have booked for a second treatment.

TOP TIP. When checking the cost of drinks and the exchange rates, make sure you use Moroccan Dirham rate and NOT Dubai Dirham rate. In advance after reading other reviews we were a little concerned as to how much drinks may cost, but found that the concern was not really warranted, and that for a 5 star hotel the costs were acceptable and that £5 for a bottle of beer at Sirayane Hotel is within keeping to costs in UK of other 5 star hotels.

Maybe the only negative thought I have now is that when we paid our bill and as we left it would have been nice for the reception staff to have asked us how much we enjoyed our stay or if we may look to return in the future.

Yes, I would be pleased to return for another relaxing stay and maybe we will in the near future to enjoy some winter Sun and the Sirayane Hotel & Spa – our little Moroccan paradise.
