Wonderful 2 week break
We have just returned from an excellent 2 weeks of peace, quiet and excellent service. The restaurant staff were attentive and made every meal an experience, the spa was great too. We had a room with pool and garden which was worth the extra money for the privacy although the main pool was never overcrowded. We saw the Manager every day and he really cared that his guests had the best experience. A special mention to the ground staff who worked tirelessly to maintain the beautiful grounds. It you want peace and quiet but still close to the Medina and Souks and the best service we have ever had then this is the place for you.

The Sirayane - an oasis of tranquility on the outskirts of the chaos of the Medina.
The Sirayane is located just outside central Marrakech - which is, in my opinion, perfect. Uber’s are plentiful and trips are around 100 Dirham each way - depending on traffic etc (about £8.50), so chaos to calm for not much money. The Hotel is perfect for a restful break and the grounds/ gardens are very well kept. The rooms (we had a room with a garden that led directly to the main pool) are of a very high standard and the cleaners really do a great job. I would suggest a tip for the cleaning staff at the start of your holiday which will ensure that water gets replenished ‘free of charge’ along with a little bowl of Moroccan biscuits on a daily basis. I struck up a good friendship with Aimad who ensured we had the same sunbeds each day - with fresh towels. He really was a nice man who couldn’t do enough for you and when I gave him a few small tips (which were neither solicited nor expected) it was like I had given him the world. As an aside the sunbeds are lovely and comfortable - with proper matresses and, given the boutique nature of the hotel, there is no shortage. The staff from the table waiters to the security guards on the gate, up to and including the General Manager are all top class and cannot do enough for you - quite simply I cannot fault any aspect of service. It would be wrong to name individuals as the whole team were equally good - a credit to the Hotel. My wife and I availed ourselves of a couple of massages, and a Hammam each, in the onsite Spa and these too were both very good and very reasonably priced. My suggestion would be a Hammam early in your stay to scrub/ deep clean your skin and encourage a better tan (if that’s your thing). We opted for the full board package for convenience (we generally go all inclusive if this is available) but we do not let it limit us to eating in the Hotel only, we ate out in Marrakech for 4 of our 7 night stay (there are some outstanding restaurants but they are for other reviews). My only criticism - and this is very minor indeed - is that the full/ half board menus are quite narrow and often there was a greater lunch time choice than for dinner. Now I am in no doubt that if I had asked the staff would have prepared something from the lunch menu but, it would be better for example to have a few pasta options for dinner without having to ask. As you can see though this is a truly minor and almost non - issue but needed mentioning I feel. I think that my wife and I have found our new winter long-weekend bolt hole as you will never see all that Marrakech has to offer in one or two short breaks. In summary, if you want a big run of the mill Hotel with animation teams and night clubs/ loud music the Sirayane is not for you. If you want a clean oasis of tranquility with the very highest of standards associated with everything - you need look no further. I can say, without fear of contradiction from my wife, that we will return to the Sirayane. All that leaves me to do is say thank you to all of team Sirayane who made our stay perfect.

Oasis of calm
We’ve just returned from a lovely stay at the Sirayane Hotel. Utterly calm and tranquil. The facilities were lovely and the staff were so helpful. We stayed in one of the private pool rooms which was beautiful on a half board basis. The food was excellent and the architecture of the buildings was fabulous. Highly recommend taking the free shuttle into the town and we did the private walking tour on the first day with Asiz who showed us around so we had our bearings (and a lovely gentleman) so we could explore on our own the next day. The temperature was perfect 28-30degrees each day and the pool a welcome retreat after exploring.

Did not live up to our expectations
We stayed at Sirayane Boutique Hotel looking forward to a relaxing few days in Marrakech. Unfortunately, overall the experience did not live up to our expectations.
There were some positives. The staff in the bar and restaurant were friendly and welcoming, with Zidane being particularly helpful. The lunch and dinner food was perfectly fine, although nothing particularly memorable. The pool area was pleasant, although the furniture is looking tired and could do with some investment. The hotel shuttle service was very useful, and the drivers were excellent – always helpful and accommodating.
Unfortunately, there were also a number of issues during our stay.
We had assumed (our fault for not checking) the hotel to be adults-only, so we were surprised to find a child staying just two doors from our room. There was considerable crying and noise for extended periods, which was frustrating when we had specifically chosen the hotel expecting a peaceful environment with our own private pool, which we did not use as much because of the noise. There was also building work during our stay. It wasn’t unbearable, but it was clearly audible and detracted from the relaxing atmosphere. We also experienced regular barking from dogs nearby.
Our room unfortunately had an ant infestation, which required us to ask reception to have the room cleaned. After initially reporting it, I had to call back around two hours later because the issue had not been dealt with. When I called again, one member of the reception team actually shouted at me, which I found completely unacceptable. Reception staff generally came across as rather grumpy and, on several occasions, not particularly helpful.
There was also a problem with the back-door lock in our room, which was broken and was never repaired during our stay.
None of these individual issues would necessarily have ruined our stay on their own, but taken together they made the experience considerably less relaxing than we had anticipated.
Sirayane has some lovely features and there are clearly some very good members of staff, particularly in the restaurant, bar and shuttle service. However, for the price and the type of experience the hotel appears to offer, we expected much better attention to detail and a more professional response when problems were raised.
Sadly, we wouldn’t return based on our experience.

Relax to the max. Cant wait to return
Not quite sure where to start, as everything about our stay at Sirayane was fabulous!
We’ve been to Marrakech many times, but this was our first stay at Sirayane — and it certainly won’t be our last. The location is perfect: just a short journey from the airport and within easy reach of the Medina, yet once you arrive, it feels like a completely different world. It’s a true haven of peace, tranquillity and relaxation.
Every member of staff was exceptional. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and everyone went above and beyond to make our stay so enjoyable. The service was warm, friendly and genuinely personal.
We stayed in one of the rooms with a private pool and garden, and it was absolutely perfect. Having our own little space to relax and unwind made the whole experience feel incredibly special.
Honestly, this was one of the most relaxing holidays we’ve ever had. Sirayane has the perfect combination of beautiful surroundings, wonderful staff, peace and luxury.
We absolutely loved our stay and would highly recommend Sirayane to anyone looking for a relaxing escape in Marrakech. We can’t wait to return!
