Secret Garden is located at Palmeraie resort, nearby the 27holes golf course by Robert Trent Jones. It is situated 10 minutes from the Palmeraie Spa, the pool/restaurant "Nikki Beach", and the brazilian restaurant "Fogo Di Chao". It is located 20 minutes from the main tourist attractions (Medina, Menara Gardens, Koutoubia...) and from the airport.
Each 23 villa of Secret Garden, 600m², has 3 bedrooms with double beds and bathrooms, including one originally located at "mid-floor" with hip bathtub, private showers and dressing. All rooms are well-equipped and comfortable , which combined design with Italian accents to moroccan materials and techniques. Large living room, library, stocked bar, fireplace, exclusive spa, dining room, heated outdoor pool...
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
We were told about the Secret Garden, what a find, it’s in a street within the Medina walls. 100 MAD or £10 entry but worth it. So peaceful, lots of exotic plants, information on their watering system. Lovely cafe on rooftop of building. Does offer a guided tour for additional cost but we didn’t feel we needed it. Would recommend a visit but be prepared for entry queues, however they do go down quite quickly.
Honestly, there wasn’t much to this place. Not a lot of variety in the garden and it wasn’t very big and it was crowded. I kind of think it’s a waste of time to go out of your way but worth going if you’re right there, I guess. The tower tour was informational, but the tower itself is not that impressive.
An oasis of tranquility amidst the hustle and bustle of Marrakech. Sit back and relax amongst the trees and flowers. Buy a drink in the rooftop cafe furthest away from the entrance to get a view of the gardens from above (don’t pay to go up the tower).
It's a nice enough garden, recreated from rubble in a best guess of what was there before (their info). It has a great water system, some fun art, and I think most people would spend 20-30 minutes there, if they sat in the shade for a while. However, if you LOVE plants, you'll get more out of it.
Le Jardin Secret is located within the Medina, and its proximity to places like Bahia Palace makes it easy to combine in the same visit.
I really loved the orange trees, the peaceful atmosphere, and the views from the upstairs restaurant. The different pieces of artwork throughout the space add a nice touch and make it even more enjoyable to explore.
