I never had the opportunity to stay at Savoy Le Grand Morocco due to a very difficult and heartbreaking circumstance. Sadly, my grandmother became seriously ill and passed away, and as a result, we were unable to go ahead with our trip.
What truly stood out to me was how the hotel handled the situation. Unlike some of the other elements of our trip, where cancelling became stressful and complicated, Savoy Le Grand Morocco was incredibly understanding. When we contacted them, explained what had happened, and requested to cancel our reservation and receive a refund, there were no unnecessary questions or complications. They immediately expressed their condolences, showed genuine empathy, and processed the refund promptly.
During such a painful and tragic time, that level of compassion and understanding meant more than I can express. Their customer service was phenomenal, and they treated us with kindness when we genuinely needed it.
Although I cannot review the hotel itself or the quality of the stay, I can wholeheartedly say that my experience with their customer service was exceptional. I am 100% intending to book with Savoy Le Grand Morocco in the future. After the way they treated us during such a difficult time, I would genuinely like to stay there when we are able to return to Morocco.

Good hotel
3 friends stayed here for 4 nights, Lovley hotel, nice inclusive breakfast and the pools were great.
Most staff were attentive and helpful, I wouldn’t pay for the food at lunch or dinner again though, we tried both and were let down. There are better options a short walk outside the hotel.
Even though it’s a child friendly hotel, and we were without kids, it didn’t bother us.
Mint tea in reception is the best we’ve ever had.
Rooms were as expected, spacious and comfortable.
Literally outside is Buddha bar, worth it for dinner, was great but pricey.
Would stay again for sure. The lounge with a large screen was great to watch Hull beat Man Utd lol.

The typical 5 or 6 star hotel. Room servis is lacking. Try e.g. to get a spoon during breakfest of to use in the room. Swiiming pool in this hot eeather...close at 6 PM/ no informatin regarding taxi, and a lot of hidden facilites.

Good but not great
Could have been so much better.
First I’ll start with the positives. The hotel is quite large with an enormous pool. The rooms were very well cleaned and the concierge staff were very helpful when we checked in. They even let us check into a room earlier then check in time for no extra cost which was very much appreciated. They were very helpful and informative. A great first impression.
However unfortunately our stay was let down by 2 factors. First the ongoing construction. The works being done in the hotel is quite noisy at times especially when your trying to sunbathe. We were not told about this prior or when checking in. I believe we should have been notified. Additionally the waiters and managers in the outdoor restaurant/bar were not very helpful at all. Countless times we would have to ask for the bill multiple times they were very slow. Often there would be 3:4 people stood there just chatting whilst we would be waiting for our bill, be prepared for slow service.
Overall it’s a lovely hotel in a beautiful city. Just a couple of things that knock it down.
Great stay at this lovely hotel
Lovely hotel in a great location close to Many amenities. We are here now and leave today. Check in was perfect no waiting around and room was ready. We had a premium room with pool view and a lovely large balcony with sofa and chairs. The room was spotlessly clean. Breakfast is on another level the new breakfast room is absolutely beautiful and the choice and service was impeccable. There are some works going on around the hotel but noise is minimal and we were not disrupted at all. The works will massively benefit the guest experience. This is our second visit to the savoy we usually stay at the Movenpick but following this experience we will definitely be returning to the savoy. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
