The hotel is ideally situated at the heart of the gigantic Medina of Marrakech, in the Bab Doukkala neighbourhood. This charming design establishment was completely restored in 2010 in accordance with an authentic Moroccan style, and offers a warm and traditional setting. Guests are welcomed in a lobby by a friendly staff, which is ready to assist with service and information. The hotel consists of a ground floor, including a common living room with a salon, TV and Internet access. It comprises a total of 5 rooms, each equipped with all modern comforts and decorated with taste and refinement in a contemporary style with an oriental touch.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
My friend and I stayed at Ryad Amiran on our visit to Marrakesh. Our room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was lovely and the staff were so friendly and helpful. Thank you all for making us so welcome 🥰
Management were extremely rude, cash only! When asked questions regarding payment & prices of food/drink male manager became quite angry on day of departure. Our party was all female, 2 elderly friends, myself & 13yr old daughter. Felt extremely nervous after his challenging attitude. This Ryad is located in an alley about 10min walk from taxi drop off. Unfortunately on day of departure whilst walking to taxi I was robbed of all my possessions by a person on motorcycle. Had to stay in Marrakech an extra 7 days whilst a huge expense met to get emergency passports ! A nightmare we will never forget!!
Our stay at this riad in Marrakech was absolutely exceptional and truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth, kindness, and genuine hospitality that made us feel at home right away. The services offered are outstanding and go far beyond expectations. The spa experience was incredibly relaxing, with professional treatments. We also took part in a cooking class, which was one of the highlights of our trip: well organized, fun, and a fantastic way to discover authentic Moroccan cuisine. The riad also offers expertly arranged excursions, allowing us to explore the surrounding areas comfortably and stress-free, with knowledgeable guides and great attention to detail. Above all, the staff truly makes the difference. Everyone was incredibly kind, attentive, and always available to help with anything we needed, from recommendations to special requests. Their professionalism and friendliness created a welcoming atmosphere that we will always remember.
Spent 3 nights in this lovely Riad. Arriving at night, Mustafa walked to our drop off area and walked with us to the property ( wouldn’t have found it otherwise). Very comfortable. Breakfasts were delicious. Staff very accommodating and friendly. We were around 20 mins walk through the souks to the centre. This was the perfect base for our short trip and would certainly stay there again. Thank you all. Only one suggestion…perhaps a bottle of water in the room for late arrivals.
My rating reflects our total dissapoinment in this accommodation. We upgraded our holiday with Jet2 to a superior room which unfortunately we didn't get. When we arrived I asked Mustafa if this room he took us to was a superior room he just nodded obviously not understanding my question. My initial dissapoinment just got worse with the condition of the room. The Ryad is listed 5 stars (not sure who gave it this listing). Photos attached and a formal complaint to Jet2 . After unpacking and very little sleep due to outside noise and the Mosque being very loud we went for breakfast. Our room was on the front with only a little window to see out . Breakfast consisted of baguette in slices with butter & honey, croissant & cake , fruit salad a pancake . Tea with one tea bag . Eggs offered on the final day after pancake refused.
We then met Naima the manager who welcomed us and I wanted to ask about the room however she advised after breakfast she would talk about Spa treatments and trips however as we travel extensively we always sort ourselves out. Naima comes across aggressive therefore we decided to not mention the room.
You have to pay 4 euros per person per day plus my partner had 4 small cans of Casablanca the night before . The total bill came to 684 Moroccan Dirham which we only had 300 not expecting the tax to be so high. Naima made a point the bill had to be paid in cash ASAP. (Cards not accepted) . After this and payment made ASAP also we politely refused the spa and trips Naima had no time for us her smile disappeared.
75 Dirhams for a 33cl can of Casablanca is disgusting and totally outrageous. This is a mark up of 305 % from the supermarket price !!!
We understand its a Muslim country however if they are wanting tourist maybe not increasing prices so it becomes ridiculous.
This Ryad is more like a hostel and 2 stars 🌟.
