Another visit to this hotel, and another visit with excellent service, the morning after arrival we reported that our shower was working correctly the outside didn’t work and the sink plug didn’t seal correctly, within 30!min 2 maintenance guys arrived and fixed all the issues, the staff the maids, everyone one in the hotel works hard to ensure you have a great holiday, it’s morroco and for the money after flights around £75 a day each, it’s great value, from freshly made omelette, pancakes, cereals, pastry’s an more at breakfast there is plenty of choice, it’s not Branford so don’t expect Heinz baked beans lol, the chefs will answer any questions you have, especially if you have an allergy, will explain what you can and can’t have and even make you something, you just need to ask. The drinks yes are local produce, not as strong, but very nice, the larger is from a Moroccan brewery at 5.2% and not bad to be honest. Our room was cleaned and tidying by maid each day. The staff are very approachable and will do there best to ensure you have a good time, there were always sunbeds when I went down at 8.30 and even day beds near our pool. Already booked for 2027, the hotel changes from TUI blue to TUI platinum next year, 1st may 2027
Nice hotel, friendly staff, was very busy. We arrived early so had to wait for our room to be ready but was given a wrist band and allowed to use all facilities.
when we got our room there was water leaking from the ceiling and bathroom was flooded, the maid outside said she would call for someone to take a look.
Waited about 30 mins but no one showed, went to reception and they arranged for it to be fixed which was done swiftly.
The hotel was full so getting sunbeds would have been a issue apart from we are early risers so was nice to sit out and listen the birds singing, pool boys work hard but seemed a bit rude at times
food was ok but a bit repetitive as not as much choice as other RIU hotels I've stayed at before
Waiters seemed a bit rude at first and didnt take come to take drink orders for the first 2 days, they seemed to focus on the guests that had been there a few days hugging and high five them. but after a couple of days you seem to get the same waiter and he remembers your drinks order and gets them for you as soon as you enter the restaurant.
The Pool bar staff are amazing and so friendly also smiling and polite as well as the staff at the main bar in the lobby.
Entertainment was very hit and miss and not really our cup of tea especially for adults only hotel
On the whole the hotel is very clean and tidy, pools was refreshing and food pretty good along with mostly friendly staff but seemed you had to tip the waiters at the start of your holiday to get well looked after
Returned after 10 days at the Riu Tikida Garden... Totally enjoyed our holiday with food, drinks, cleanliness & staff all fantastic👌... Special shout out to Hircham, our daily pool barman who always had a smile while speaking welsh language phrases🍺😁... The hotel is isolated with very little in vicinity(aware prior👍), so no issues... We did go to the markets, an enjoyable experience to sample the local environment🇲🇦... Early start for sunbeds, 5am onwards but pleanty to choose from the 4 pool areas 🏊♀️. Rooms are fine, cleaned daily & towels changed... The evening entertainment area is very small so you need to eat early to get a view & it could be improved on a few nights rather than dance music... Day time activity programme runs from the tui blue app, not everyone uses this. A little more communication/interaction from reps would make you aware of what's on & gain more participants... All in all a fantastic hotel of which we will definitely return at some point. Many thanks, Michael and Kelly Di Vetta 😎

I have just returned from a 4 night stay with 3 friends. We had a lovely break. The hotel itself is stunning. We had no issues getting sunbeds and didn’t wait for long for drinks or for a table in the restaurants. Food was good and we enjoyed our visit to the à la carte (although service felt overly slow here). One thing I would say is one of our party is Coeliac - some things are labelled well/ some not so. She asked in the restaurant on the first day about this (as she had emailed previously and this was what she was told to do) and the waiter seemed unsure. Having said this we were served very well by every member of staff! Particularly the waiters in the restaurants. We spent most days around the pool. Only complaint would be the afternoon sports sometimes went on too long but that’s a personal opinion! Rooms were clean but we had an issue with air con on the first evening (too warm), towels were very small (and a little tatty) and we used the app to ask for an iron/ help with air con/ towels and water (only put in room on first day). All requests were ignored. I asked at reception for an iron and ironing board and this needed a deposit. I was then handed both which seems a mad thing to walk past the pool with but hey! We liked the shop but limited opening hours were a shame. Evening entertainment was okay but not enough seats. We tended to sit on a lounger and play cards instead. We ended up having an impromptu photoshoot - a good selection of photos and not too expensive. All in all a good short break in the middle of the summer holidays and I’d come back again!
