This charming guesthouse is located in La Medina in a small street, only 5 minutes from Djemaa el Fna Square with its market, and close to all other attractions of the city. This cosy Marrakech hotel combines the very best of Morocco's traditional riad hospitality with the latest in modern comfort and facilities. The air-conditioned riad offers very personalized service. Guests who wish to return home with a tan are welcome to the outdoor complex featuring a swimming pool and a sun terrace with loungers and parasols. Guests can enjoy some quiet entertainment at the lounge or surf the web through the WLAN Internet access provided. Room facilities include individually regulated air conditioning and heating, a private bathroom and attentive room service.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
The Riad Les Hibiscus is a wonderful peaceful tranquil haven in amongst the hussle and bussle of the Medina..literally 40 seconds away from the main vibrant drag.
Sophie, her beautiful, quiet husband and all their staff run a professional service in going 'above and beyond' to look after their guests. Everything is spotless and the breakfasts are filling and delicious. We stayed as 2 couples last weekend and had the best time exploring Marrakech and discovering all it's wonders.A truly enjoyable trip. Thank you Riad Les Hibiscus for everything Celia and Adrian
This beautiful riad is an oasis of peaceful calm just a stone's throw from the main square and the lively bustle of the souks in the Medina. At the end of a quiet alleyway, behind an unassuming turquoise door, is this little slice of paradise to truly relax, recharge and just....exist! With it's beautiful little pool, exquisite decoration and lush greenery, you really can't help but relax. The owners and staff are super friendly and welcoming. Always a smile and a helpful recommendation if you want one. The owners welcome you into their riad like life-long friends sharing their home and delicious home-cooked, authentic Moroccan meals with you. Really cannot recommend this place enough for an indulgent, authentic experience in Marrakech. Absolutely wonderful, thank you so much!
Lovely Riad and wonderfully located, close to Médina and all the souk finds. Our room was clean and well appointed, staff were polite and breakfast was lovely, orange juice and good coffee and local flat breads and jams. A very good experience. The only slight negative was that smoking was allowed and this did create a smokey smell at times in the central aread and not good for any travellers with asthma.
I have a small tour agency in Australia and booked Riad Les Hibiscus for my guests for two nights, 21 and 22 March. The booking was made direct with Sophie, the owner, by email and WhatsApp and paid in full two weeks in advance. I reconfirmed the booking by email on 20 March, the day before the guests’ arrival and provided the driver’s contact details. On the morning of the guests’ arrival I was informed by the driver that the room was not available for that night, only the second night of the booking. No explanation was provided, no alternative accomodation was provided, I myself received no communication from the riad owner or manager and had to scramble to find and pay for alternative accommodation for my guests, at an hour’s notice. Despite calling the owner, sending WhatsApp messages and emails, I have received no response from her whatsoever. The riad manager, at my request, offered a complimentary dinner for the guests the following night when their room was available and has now refunded me the cost of the unavailable night in cash after I had to visit the riad in person today. Although I am now not out of pocket, this was a very unsatisfactory experience and the complete lack of communication from the owner was both rude and unprofessional and created an unnecessarily stressful situation for both me and my guests who had to move riads during thru two days in Marrakech. I do not recommend this riad.
Wonderful stay at this Riad. Family run business and they couldn't be more welcoming. Located at the end of a narrow alleyway which at first seems unsafe but is actually a bonus, away from the chaos of the Medina. Beautiful rooms, lovely traditional Moroccan breakfast. Would definitely visit again.
