Conveniently situated in Marrakech, this property is the perfect base for both business and holiday travel. The Marrakech-Menara Airport is a 20-minute drive away and a 10-minute walk will take visitors to the Ben Youssef Medersa mosque and Islamic school or the Jemaa el-Fnaa square in the medina quarter. The architecture and décor of the hotel are in traditional Morrocan style. All rooms have views of the patio, a cosy seating area and private bathrooms, while the more spacious suites are fitted with a fireplace. Guests can enjoy a complimentary breakfast on the rooftop terrace and start their day with an amazing view of the city.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
It is one of the most beautiful and calmful riad in Marrackech. It is placed in a very good location near the square el fna. The people who work there are really helpful with instructions and in order we feel comfortable.
We are a greek couple and a few days ago we visited Marrakech for honeymoon! We chose to stay in this lovely and traditional riad in a perfect location close to every sightseeing. We really enjoyed our stay in Riad Habib from day one! It was the most amazing and exciting experience living in this traditional, very cozy and comfortable Riad. The staff was so friendly and helpful that seemed you were in a five star hotel! Jemel who worked in the afternoon since morning was extremely kind and helpful to whatever we needed. He was ready anytime I mean 24/7 to be there and help us to anything! Many congrats to this guy. The woman who worked during day time was also super friendly and kind! The breakfast was perfect and traditional and it was served by the time we wanted. As for the room it was extremely clean and lovely, the wifi was really fast all the time! I highly recommend to anyone who wants to visit Marrakech to stay there! This specific Riad could also book us excursions to anywhere around Marrakech upon request, as Essaouira, Agadir the desserts everything in very reasonable prices and also private without worrying about anything at all. We loved it! Thank you Jemel for everything!
I’m not someone who would generally write a review but after my stay at Riad El Habib I felt compelled too. The service I received felt personalised and 5 star. The room was immaculately clean and we were provided with fresh towels daily. I loved the traditional Moroccan decor in the room. A traditional Moroccan breakfast was prepared for us daily on the authentic terrace daily which started the day right. The location was perfect close to everything l needed, whether it be the markets, ATM, restaurants and tradition attractions. We even found a cute little cocktail bar 8 minutes walk away. I will certainly return back after such a delightful stay. All staff were friendly but I want to give a particular mention to hosts Hussain and another gentleman (apologies I forgot his name but want to give credit) who really accommodated us. Thank you :D
Not best ,even not good place to stay in marrakech.
3)location on very very busy area. 3 min walk between building ( not feel safe) from main market road. But close to many attractions. Next time definitely choice New Medina area, much clearer and safer. Owner lady not accepting location money only euro ( don't understand) when i told her we don't have euro she accepting dirham but on very poor exchange. In exchange shop was 1:10 but in the riad was 1:8. On my opinion not worth to stay !!!!!
Last year we went to Marrakech with a friend and made the mistake to book this Riad. In short, do not trust the people working there because they will steal your money.
When we arrived, the Riad was nothing like advertised, there were fairly big cracks in the wall, and strong humidity odors. One of the rooms, the double-bed in the first floor (I believe the Yasmina) did not have any fan or AC despite being advertised as so. Half of the electric plugs didn't work, and the installation was poorly made and unsafe.
For all of these reasons, we tried to leave and go to a different Riad. The employee told us (quite literally) that the problems we were describing would took a long time to be solved. After talking to him for a long time, he made us talk to the owner. In total, it took us about an hour to talk to both of them. The owner agreed finally to return our money and let us go.
After all of this, the employee cut off the internet as we were trying to book another Riad. Luckily, we were able to book it before. They gave us our money, and we left thinking that this was it. However, three days later, as we were preparing to leave Marrakech, they charged us via my credit card through Booking. We went there and knock at the door, and despite hearing noises from inside, they did not open the door or respond. Other Riads in the vicinity open thinking that we were knocking at their doors, so they could definitely hear us.
When we tried to get refunded, the owner lied and said that he had never agreed to give us our money back.
I have seen three other Riads in town and they were amazing and comparatively much better than this scam, Riad Andalla, Riad Ago and Marana. They are much better options.
