Don’t be fooled by the photos or the 4 star rating . Dark dank and depressing place in a very shady part of the medina . Cockroaches scuttling around outside the main door. The rooms and general area are very tired and not very clean, stained bedsheets and damp towels all poor quality . Loose toilet seat and toilet base . Lack of power sockets and bed lights in the rooms but no where to plug them in so very gloomy . The roof terrace is very scruffy with rusty chairs and smelly cushions certainly No day beds for sure as in photos. I’ve travelled widely and stayed in a lot of hotels but please avoid this one as there are plenty of nicer places to stay .
Feeling good at Marrakesh
Riad Dar Bonoaur is an excellent place!!! The hotel is located on the heart of Marrakesh, we have moved so well between all the tourist places, the markets and restaurants in a smooth way. Oussama and his team were very kind to us, sorting all our requests and making us feel at home. Would definitely come back again!
Beautiful experience
A beautiful and peaceful riad in the heart of Marrakesh. The Moroccan architecture is stunning, and the rooftop is a wonderful place to relax. The hospitality was top-notch, and the Moroccan breakfast was delicious—a perfect start to the day. A very comfortable experience, and I will definitely come back
Great Riad -central to souks.
Lovely Riad central to the souks in Marrakesh. Very difficult to find so arrange a transfer direct through WhatsApp -they picked us up and walked us through the alleys carrying our cases. Friendly staff, clean and well appointed Riad -lovely and cool despite it boring 40 C outside! Nice plunge pool, which was very welcome -was brought mint tea whilst I took a dip. Rooftop loungers and central outdoor courtyard downstairs.

Quite difficult to find and taxis can’t access the accommodation so be prepared to pay a local to take you to the door
Lovely riad and excellent staff just the area and access is a little off putting located down a tiny lane which taxis or tuck tucks can’t access so be prepared to have to walk and pay a local to help you find your way initially
