Strategically located in downtown Marrakech, this charming establishment is situated opposite the railway station and just a five-minute walk from the Convention Centre. Travellers cannot miss Jamaâ El Fna Square, a square and market place in the city's medina quarter, located just a 6-minute drive. Menara Gardens are situated to the west of the region and are a 20-minute walk from the hotel. The Menara - Marrakech Airport is only 3.3 km away. The establishment provides a choice of dining options and guests can taste international cuisine on the restaurants' terrace or relax while enjoying a drink in the pool snack-bar. All the rooms boast a relaxing ambience in which to unwind and the end of the day, they all come with a spacious private bathroom.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Very good experience, Saarah and Jawad were very reliable and helpful. Good, reliable staff, nice breakfast and great atmosphere. Overall very comfortable stay. Our only minor gripe was having to pay for water bottles after the first day.
Lovely hotel, with good sized modern rooms. Very good selection at breakfast. Really enjoyed the fresh pancakes and fresh juice. A mention to Sara and Jawaad who were both very help. One small thing I would say is complimentary water was only provided on the first day, after that we had to buy our own. Would have been good to have a couple of complimentary bottles of water everyday. Overall a lovely experience and would defo stay here again.
A word of warning....if you book the red hotel this has been closed according to passport control a discussion in pidgeon French and hotel booking confirmation was required. Once we got there our taxi driver informed us that the red hotel was closed and is now the opera plaza. The red hotel entrance was closed and he dropped us at Opera Plaza entrance round the corner. Not a great start although the staff at the pokey receptiondesk had our booking but didnt say anything about the change. There is nothing red about the hotel at all. All neutral white apart from a stained red hallway carpet. None of the chill/soft furnishings areas photograghed were there. The photos are greviously misleading. Building work being done (Oct 2024) inside and outside the hotel. The reception staff were very unhelpful, we complained to 2 staff and nothing was done on our 3rd attempt we were leaving the next day and the complaint wasnt fully resolved. To get to the elevator to our room we had to walk through the old red hotel reception which had no lights on, when mentioned to reception they couldn't see the problem and no lights ever went on. This was the same for ladies using the closest toilet to the pool bar. Due to the time of year and tall buildings the pool only caught the sun until around 4pm on a few sunbeds. Not much they can do about that but worth knowing if you're going. Breakfast looked good but no dietary requirements were catered for. I need to follow a gluten free diet and was sick of eggs and fruit by the end of the week. Luckily there was plenty to do outside the hotel. I would recommend a trip to Marrakech but NOT to the red hotel or the opera plaza.
This was the best hotel we stayed at in Morocco. Very comfortable and clean. Could not hear any noise when sleeping. Offered toiletries, hair dryer and tons of outlets throughout. Hot showers with good water pressure. Convenient to have a mini bar. Nice to unwind with the tv even some English speaking channels I enjoyed having the pool view and relaxing by the pool. Hotel staff were amazing. Wish we stayed here longer
It was ok we had to move into the sister hotel next door as our electric kept cutting out
The rooms in this hotel are very basic and standard
It’s joined with the sister hotel and all facilities are the same pool food ect and that was good
Over all good location quite central from amenities
