It is a great location and beautiful inside. Breakfast was quite nice.
The elevators can be an issue at times as only 1 goes from ground level to rooms. Else you have to change elevators on the 2nd floor (lobby). The AC didn’t work at all as they apparently have to switch from heat to cool for each room. Unfortunately, our phone didn’t work so after going to the lobby to ask for service and waiting over 45 minutes, just gave up and went to bed.
Very disappointing stay. Check-in took almost two hours late at night, and to make matters worse, I was initially given keys to a room that was already occupied, with other guests and their luggage inside. This was both uncomfortable and unacceptable. The room itself had issues — the shower did not drain properly, and the breakfast quality was mediocre at best. The room was also located very far from reception, and with slow, crowded elevators, it made moving around the hotel quite inconvenient. The most serious issue happened at check-out, when I was charged twice for the same stay. Although the hotel claims they processed a refund, I am still waiting for the credit while being forced to pay the full amount on my credit card in the meantime. Overall, this experience did not reflect the standards expected from a 4-star hotel, and the way the situation has been handled has only increased my dissatisfaction.
Perfectly located in the heart of Gueliz, the hotel offers easy access to shops, restaurants, and the vibrant urban life of Marrakech.... The service is excellent ...professional, attentive, and always welcoming It was a nice stay in marrakesh
Hotel in good location for the city. We were here in half term (UK) and hotel was very very busy. Breakfast was chaotic although choice was good. Pool/outside area is big but the sunbed area is small so you will struggle to find a bed especially if there is more than 1 of you. Rooms are OK (family suite terrace) with a lovely big balcony. Air con effective. Food off menu is decent but found service painfully slow (staff work very hard though). Gym and spa looked nice although I didn't use them. Underneath the hotel is a shopping mall with a Carrefour (French style) supermarket that has everything you could need.
I just get the impression there are too many rooms thus too many people compared to the facilities available.
I absolutely loved my room; it was wonderfully spacious and featured a generously sized shower. The housekeeping was faultless, with the room kept immaculately clean throughout my stay. There were a couple of minor drawbacks regarding the location of the room: the view was rather underwhelming, and it was quite a long walk down the corridor from the lifts, which themselves felt a little dated. The food at the hotel was a definite highlight. The breakfast service was lovely, boasting loads of options to choose from, and the lunch I had at the hotel was equally good. The swimming pool area is a fantastic place to relax, enhanced by a beautifully maintained rooftop garden where herbs and flowers are grown. To top it all off, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful from start to finish. A highly pleasant stay overall.
