Incredibly beautiful and vast grounds. Huge suite with 2 bedrooms and lovely lounge area. Food was fantastic and all the staff were friendly and helpful.
Interiors were beautiful and furniture comfortable and high quality. Bedding brilliant. Bathrooms, showers in particular could do with some investment as could the ‘back garden’ part of the suite.
Wine list wonderful and double bed mattress style pool loungers were total bliss for the week we stayed here. It was hard sometimes to find someone near the pool during the day outside of mealtimes to order drinks and snacks.
Close enough to explore Marrakesh but also a great spa with really attentive therapists to spend the day on site reading and relaxing.
Pool big and not too cold. We didn’t think it was ideal for our 2 young children so when we returned to Marrakesh a few months later we didn’t book somewhere different. Would definitely return as a couple or when kids are a bit bigger.
Hotel pool area is lovely. Rooms were ok. Just a bit worn. TV didn’t work and smelt a bit like old cigarettes. Food over priced and the drinks. Luckily there’s a supermarket 10mins walk away so stocked up on cheaper beers and food for lunch so we didn’t have to pay for dinner and lunch else the stay would be more expensive. Was actually a nice stay but just over priced. We paid £600 for 4 nights. Fair price would be £450-500 max Pool area was ideal for chilling and that was the main reason we went there. Garden is really well maintained, could probably do with someone going around to maintain the rooms are fully to standard. Beds were comfy and the food was actually nice. Just a bit over priced. If they reduced the prices slightly across the board it would feel more worth it.
From the pictures and the description I was very much looking forward to our visit. Sadly, just too many things not up to standard to give this Hotel experience more than 6/10.
The main building is beautiful inside but as you spend all your time outside, breakfast, lunch and dinner all served outside, so it is of limited value. The gardens and the pool were nice, although the pool needed some repairs. The poolside loungers and parasols have seen better days! The bar in the garden was never open, so if you wanted a drink you had to find a member of staff, no one attending to guests on a regular basis. The Gym, was really a disgrace, dirty and a poor level of equipment in a tiny little room No fresh water , towels or TV etc Our suite was nice but dated and no kettle or tea coffee making facilities. But very spacious and clean. Small fridge in the room with very expensive drinks. Food overall poor No buffet Breakfast, a morroacn breakfast is brought to your table. This was plentiful but basic and the same everyday! The ingredients were not of high quality. Also some of the traditional Moroccan dishes, cheese, tapenades ect were not provided . Lunch and dinner menu very very limited and expensive for what it was. We decided to eat out after just one meal. The Hotel has nothing around to visit or walk to apart from a Carrefour and a Cafe/ restaurant and a Kebab restaurant. The staff were friendly but very inconsistent, sadly the information on taxi's and where to go all seemed to carry a premium price. We used the Roby app for taxi's, whis was cheaper than the hotel but still expensive, we found a great taxi driver, who we then just used all the time and booked him directly using what's app. Shame, because with some effort this could be a really nice boutique hotel
The hotel is about a 20–30 minute drive from the main marina. Taxis are easy to get through the hotel, but going into the centre daily would add up. The atmosphere was very dull during our stay — hardly anyone around — and staff were often missing. We had to ask reception several times just to get pool beds set up, and even then it took around 20 minutes.
On the plus side, reception and housekeeping were great, and the room itself was lovely. Housekeeping were especially accommodating if we had a lie-in. The friendly pets around the property also helped make the stay nicer.
Overall, I’d rate it 3/5.
Do not even contemplate going anywhere near this so called Palace, let alone staying there. There is a staff member working here who is addicted to illegal substances stealing from guests, this female may harass you, talk to you in a very aggressive manner. This staff member is putting every single potential guest at huge risk. The nightguard follows and harasses female guests. The cuisine and the service in the restaurant is appalling. The suites are infested with cockroaches and insects. The gym as listed is a very small space with old rusty equipment and a few machines which don’t work and neither does the ac. The receptionists are taking up to 3 times the amount of money in cash for excursions - obviously they are keeping a large amount of commission for themselves - surely this is illegal ? If you wish to go shopping or to the soul they will take you to the most expensive shops so when you purchase they take commission. Their chauffeurs will also rob you. The only positive part is the housekeeping department, Bouchra and her team keep the suites spotless. To be avoided otherwise as this will ruin your trip to beautiful Marrakech. The location is not good either. This is not a hotel, this is daylight robbery, putting any potential guest at risk.
