This hotel is situated in the centre of Marrakech, next to the lively Gueliz District. The hotel is in front of the Royal Theatre and the Railway Station. The Convention Centre is also nearby, and the medina is only 3 km away. The hotel is decorated in a Moorish-Arabic style. It has an outdoor swimming pool and lounge area and a fitness centre with views to the swimming pool. The hotel's spa offers massages and hammam treatments. The hotel has three restaurants, where guests can choose between international cuisine, exotic Moroccan specialties or savoury Asian food. The hotel also features a café and a lounge bar, both with a terrace, and a poolside drink and snack bar. This stylish hotel is perfect for both business and leisure travellers, and it offers plenty of activities. There is a bowling alley, a pool table, a foosball table and a nightclub.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Stayed five days with Riviera travel, room overlooking main road traffic, noise was horrendous with continuous honking of horns until early hours so make sure you are not booked into one of these rooms if you are take ear plugs.!! Evening meal was average, breakfast was excellent apart from local birds eating and pooping on exposed bread / croissants. On checking out card machine would not accept card ,concierge quite arrogant saying there was nothing wrong with the machine, I insisted they try another machine which worked straight away.!!
We were a party of 5 and all had pool facing rooms. You could not hear a thing from the busy roads. Everything was clean, not overcrowded. The food excellent and the staff amazing.they even have little tortoises in the gardens. Timmy (baby), Tammy (mid sized) and Tommy (largest) Katrina was phenomenal. Thank you for making our trip one to remember. You couldn’t do enough for us.
Let’s start with the positives. The service in the restaurant was good and the room was clean. The pool service in the afternoon was ok. Now after these highlights it has been all downhill. Our room was on the outside of the hotel facing the station - to say it is noisy is an understatement. Constant horns from cars and general excessive traffic noise made it hell. Effective sound insulation and double glazing is needed. The choice of food in the self-serve restaurant was limited, but of ok quality, no more than that. After dinner we sat by the pool and tried to order some drinks. It took 35 minutes to be approached by a waiter, despite constant acknowledgments, and then after a further 5 mins half our order arrived. It then took 10 more mins for the rest of the order to be delivered. Some ladies at the table near us were still waiting after getting the drinks menu 30mins earlier. At this point we paid and left. If you have to say in this hotel make sure you have an inner room. But better still, do yourself a favour and avoid if you can.
An excellent hotel with great facilities. Staff exceedingly friendly and helpful. Rooms spacious ( although rooms on the roadside of the hotel can be noisy due to traffic) with all usual facilities to make your stay comfortable. Great swimming pool and gym. Meals are good to excellent. Breakfast are wonderful with a wide selection of hot and cold dishes. Evening meals are buffet style, good selection to suite all. Definitely recommend this hotel if going to Marrakesh.
Unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. There were last-minute changes to important booking arrangements, communication became increasingly difficult, and several attempts to contact the property went unanswered. As a result, I was left without the confidence needed to proceed with my trip and ultimately had to cancel my travel plans. I hope the property improves its communication, reliability, and customer service for future guests.
