This spa complex is situated in the new hotel area of Marrakech city known as Agdal. The hotel is conveniently close to the Palais Royal, the Kasbah and the famous Pacha club. The famous square of Djemaa el Fna is also just minutes away from the hotel, and the centre of Gueliz is 2 kms away. The air-conditioned establishment offers a diversity of facilities to satisfy both children and adults, business and leisure travellers alike. Guests can enjoy a variety of delicious international and Moroccan dishes at the in-house restaurant. This club resort features a very traditional style, and the interior of the guestrooms lends it a charming ambiance in which to relax. The medium-sized rooms are well furnished and appointed, and they come equipped with modern in-room amenities.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
They claim on Booking.com to offer an airport shuttle bus service. This is a lie. They don’t have an airport shuttle. The hotel ignored several of my attempts to get in touch with them by email and Facebook message prior to my stay to confirm my booking. There was no hairdryer in my room and I got a cold as a result of sleeping with a wet head. I was short-changed by 10 dirham in the restaurant...I didn’t bother mentioning it to them...I was going to leave a tip but decided that was going to be the tip. I was charged 66 dirham by hotel when I arrived for a ‘tourist tax’. This was not optional so it should have either been included in the original price, or mentioned at the booking stage however it was not. Apart from the above, the hotel ‘did what it said on the tin’.
I spent ONEE night and was happy that it was the only one. Hotel is not very charming, old floor carpets, smelling bathroom, no bar, far away from down-town, close to the entry lane of the Marrakesh-Airport.
We stayed here while I attended a conference. The rates were excellent so I shouldn't complain too much. I did enjoy the fine buffet breakfasts and dinners, and also the tasty items in the hotel's other restaurant. The lobby is lovely, as is the pool area and the patio of the main restaurant. The guest room was of good size, with a flat-screen TV, nice bathroom and shampoo, etc. I took advantage of the free shuttle service to the city's sook area. The service was good and staff courteous and helpful (tho don't expect them to speak English). My two biggest complaints are (1) the uncomfortable bed - too hard, and (2) the terrible internet service -- I had to go to the lobby or central hub to get good service. I could add that there is only one working elevator, which is small, but, really, the whole week I never had to wait long for it.
This was a nice hotel, although when we arrived there was hardly anyone there, very few staff, except lady on reception who wasn’t very friendly so it was s bit grim and it was cold. However, through the week more people arrived as did more staff, who were great and very attentive.
Breakfast was very nice, other food served was basic but okay.
Position was good, with a walk to medina, carrefor and nice shopping mall. However nothing to do in hotel as pool cold and no nice gardens to sit in.
It served its purpose but was glad to move on.
Waited one hour for a room that was reserved months in advance with no explanation. I missed a very important appoinment because of that.
J'ai du attendre plus d'une heure pour une chambre qui fut pourtant réservé depuis des mois et ce sans aucune explication ni excuse.
Tuve que esperar mas de una hora pour una habitacion que habia sido reservada con meses de anticipacion.
