- Longue Vie Hotel Marrakech

Longue Vie Hotel in Marrakech offers a serene retreat amidst the vibrant energy of the city. Nestled in a tranquil setting, this hotel combines traditional Moroccan charm with modern comfort. Guests can unwind in well-appointed rooms featuring contemporary decor and essential amenities. The hotel provides a range of facilities, including a refreshing outdoor pool, a restaurant serving both local and international cuisine, and a bar for relaxing evenings. Located conveniently close to Marrakech's historic sites and bustling markets, Longue Vie Hotel is an ideal choice for those seeking both relaxation and exploration in the heart of Morocco.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
We stayed at Longue Vie Hotel for 4 nights, and for a hotel charging €300 per night, the experience was a massive disappointment.
A week before our arrival, I emailed both the reception and the booking department to inform them that we were celebrating our 10th anniversary. Neither email was ever opened or answered, which was the first sign that this hotel does not care about its guests.
The worst part of our stay was a serious incident by the pool. Because the pool area was full, we placed our towels on a nearby table and I hid my phone between them to protect it from the 45-degree sun. A staff member walked up, took our towels without asking, and dropped my phone so the screen shattered. He quickly showed it to my wife, claiming it was "fine" (which it absolutely wasn't), and then left the phone face down on the hot table without any protection, moving the towels to a glass wall instead.
When we confronted the staff, the only response we got was a lazy "sorry". Management did absolutely nothing to compensate us or handle the damage caused by their own employee. Utterly unprofessional.
To add to this, the service during breakfast was incredibly stressful. The staff were way too fast to clear the tables. Every single morning we had to explicitly tell them that we weren't finished eating, and we noticed several other guests having to do the same.
The only positive aspects were that the gym was okay and the breakfast food itself was good. However, when you pay premium prices, you expect premium service and accountability. The lack of communication, the lack of responsibility for property damage, and the stressful service ruined what should have been a special anniversary trip. We will not return.
My husband and I stayed at Longue Vie Hotel in Marrakech, and from the moment we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised with an upgrade to a suite.
The hotel was very clean, the food was delicious, and the bed was comfortable. I would especially like to thank the rooftop staff for their excellent service, hospitality, and care while we were relaxing by the pool.
I would also like to give special thanks to Rania and Zineb for upgrading our room and always taking the time to answer our questions. A big thank you as well to Nouredinne for his wonderful hospitality—he regularly checked in to make sure everything was perfect for us, which was incredibly kind.
Finally, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Abdellatif. He gave us a very warm welcome and helped arrange taxis for us at fair prices. He truly went above and beyond and was an absolute star.
Insha’Allah, we hope to return next year. I have traveled extensively throughout my life, and I can honestly say that this is the best hotel I have ever stayed in.
Thank you to the entire team for making our stay so memorable! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Kind regards,
Hayat & Karim
This was my second stay at Longue Vie Hotel, and once again it was an excellent experience. The staff are always so warm, friendly, and accommodating. We were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary room upgrade on arrival, which made our stay even more special.
A special thank you to Idrees, who was incredibly helpful, polite, and always happy to assist. His excellent service really stood out.
I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely keep coming back whenever I visit
This hotel is within walking distance of bars, restaurants, shopping mall and the medina. It is a fairly small hotel but huge in character and guest service. The staff cannot do enough for you. They regularly checked that we were happy and to see if we needed anything.
Breakfast is excellent with a good amount of choice. Beautiful fresh pastries, fresh juices, an egg station, salads, fruit, cereals and more are on offer. All displayed really nicely.
The rooftop bar and restaurant offer delicious food and a great atmosphere. All the staff are friendly, good humoured and keen to serve you.
The rooftop pool is clean, has great views, plenty of sunloungers and towels. It is a lovely place to relax and sunbathe.
Our large room had a balcony, super comfortable bed, minibar fridge, safe, tv, hairdryer, scales and well appointed bathroom with good sized shower.
We loved our stay. One week didn’t seem long enough as we packed so many trips in. We organised trips through GetYourGuide. They were excellent and unbelievably good value for money- Ouzoud waterfalls, Essaouira, Casablanca, ATV and desert show and hot air ballooning (absolute must do and so cheap)
The medina is a must-see. We recommend the hotel highly. Thank you so much to all the lovely staff.
From when you arrive till when you leave you get 1st class treatment The hotel is only about 1/2 hour from the medina and we walked it many a time There are plenty of shops nearby and also just across from the railway station and is very impressive The hotel is a 4* but could be a 5* and loads of choices for breakfast and check out the egg station outside for omelettes We had a room out at the back of hotel which was very quiet and away from the main road which was very busy and noisy Would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again
