I enjoyed my stay here. Great staff. Great location. Hakim (I hope I spelled the name right) checked me in, and the tone for what became a great stay. This hotel is conveniently located next door to the mall, and tons of restaurants, shops, and everything else you need to enjoy your stay.
Despite the hotel's facilities and friendly staff, I had such negative experiences that I cannot recommend this place to anyone. I found multiple cockroaches in the hotel. Furthermore, I got food poisoning from their seafood, which ruined half of my vacation. The most outrageous part was the scam: they tried to charge me twice for a drink I had already paid for at the pool. Even though I presented my receipt and bank statement, they refused to let me leave until I paid again. This hotel is a disgrace to the Marriott brand. Never again!
Le Méridien N’Fis is a solid choice for business events and conferences in Marrakech. The location on Avenue Mohammed VI is excellent, offering easy access to the city center, the airport, and many attractions.
The conference facilities are well organized, spacious, and suitable for larger meetings and corporate events. The gardens and pool area create a pleasant atmosphere for networking and relaxing after a busy day.
The hotel offers good amenities, comfortable rooms, several dining options, and friendly staff. However, some parts of the property are beginning to show their age and would benefit from a refresh and modernization to fully match today’s expectations for a five-star hotel.
That said, the overall experience remains positive thanks to the excellent service, beautiful grounds, and strong conference infrastructure.
Recommended for business travelers and conferences, especially if you value location and facilities over ultra-modern design.
As a Marriott Ambassador member, I am deeply disappointed with the experience we had at this hotel. I strongly identify with the Marriott brand and everything it stands for, which is why it is particularly frustrating to encounter a property that falls so far below the standards I have come to expect.
From the moment we arrived, the experience was uncomfortable. The hotel’s systems were down, and the staff was unable to provide meaningful assistance or clear information. We were asked to leave and return later to give them time to resolve the situation before our rooms could be assigned.
When we finally received our rooms, one of them had a significant amount of water pooled on the floor, with water actively dripping from the ceiling. Whether it was caused by the air conditioning system or another maintenance issue, it was obvious that there was a leak. If the room was being prepared for incoming guests, this should have been identified and addressed before it was assigned.
Unfortunately, the other negative reviews we had read—and the reason we chose to switch hotels during the first part of our trip—proved to be accurate. Upon entering the guest restroom in the lobby, we encountered a large cockroach. In addition, the shower soap dispenser in our room was completely empty.
To make matters worse, it was impossible to reach the front desk by phone. None of the room phones appeared to be working, so every request required physically going downstairs to speak with someone at reception. Throughout our stay, there was a complete lack of customer service and responsiveness.
This experience was extremely disappointing, especially because it does not reflect the standards, quality, and service that Marriott typically represents. We rarely leave negative reviews, but in this case we feel compelled to share our experience. Unfortunately, this hotel significantly detracts from the reputation of the Marriott brand, and we hope management takes immediate action to address these issues for future guests.
This is from far, my favorite hotel in Marrakesh.
Home feeling.
Staff is super friendly and there is always someone around ready to help with a cheerful and friendly attitude.
There is a positive vibe from staff in every area of the hotel!
Food is also very tasty - I usually go for Club Sandwich or Beef w/ Mushroom sandwich for dinner and breakfast as various tasty options including an outside bar where your ask for eggs cooked the way you want!
I always stay here and will keep coming!
