What a Lovely Hotel...I dont eave many reviews these days but this Hotel is Sooo Lovely...Firstly its strictly Morrocan its not a big chain...The People are Lovely here and the Restaurant attracts people from all over the District its that Nice...Breakfast is Typical Morrocan plenty of meats, eggs, spices, vegetables, cous cous...There is Cereal ,bacon sausages and plenty of buns, croissants and different jams..I Love it here and i wont hesitate to come back to this Gem of a Hotel...Its a short taxi ride away from the Square but you can walk it in 30 minutes..The Staff helped us many a time with Taxis and Directions...Going to buy I Love Morrocco t shirt...

We Loved It❤️❤️❤️

This Hotel was just spot on friendly helpful staff both on reception and in restaurant the location is perfect you can walk into the main square in about 30 mins plenty of restaurants shops close by. In my opinion the Hotel rooms were fine cleaned every day and fresh towels its a typical morrocan style Hotel if you want sparking modern go to a more expensive Hotel .The Restaurant was lovely food both off the half board menu and the main menu is very good. Breakfast has everything you require salads eggs breads croissant and cereal we always enjoyed our breakfast don't know why people would complain .Would we stay here again Definitely without hesitation Loved it❤️

Amazing Hotel and Staff

First time in Marrakech . Unfortunately! Booked Hotel le Caspien through Jet 2 City Breaks I honestly didn't know what to expect Disappointingly, I was let down by my transfer company and had to get a taxi at my own expense, after waiting more than an hour. Not the start I'd envisaged But, that was the only downside. I was warmly welcomed at Hotel le Caspien by Tarik an exceptionally helpful, patient and professional young man. In no time I was in my room, unpacked and in the restaurant for dinner, despite the late hour. Mr Halim, director of le Caspien, welcomed me personally and has continued to have conversations with me every day. A complete gentleman in every respect!! I could only manage 1 course of the Half Board menu, White fish tagine , WOW!! I am still here at the time of writing and have to say the food has got better every day. As a member of the hospitality industry for 60 years I am blown away by the highest of standards of this hotel. Every member of staff deserves a special mention. The young lady (I'm sorry I haven't got your name ) You know who you are. Your smile lights up breakfast every day . Salah an excellent member of the restaurant staff. Polite, respectful, and a credit to the hotel. I could go on ...... Breakfast is self service, with a good choice, the ambience of the hotel is amazing for a 3 star establishment But it's the staff and the dinners that will,if spared, make me return. I'm already looking into a return in March next year .To be honest I don't think I'd ever go anywhere else in Marrakech For those who like to shop Carré Eden Mall is 5 minutes walk away You can also book activities through Jet 2 I'm going to the Atlas mountains tomorrow and a Quad bike desert tour on Sunday Last words. Come and experience it yourself. You will not be disappointed, I promise you Sorry I'm going home on Monday 😢

Not a good stay

Could be a good hotel if they tried. The Receptionist was great and that is where it ended! The pool water was dirty and you had to walk through the restaurant and it was quite small. The automatic lights had a mind of their own, the hotel was very dark and we had some bumps because of lighting issues. The worst being the breakfast level which did not work at all. The bathtub/shower was very high and caused difficulty getting in and out. Dark bedroom with not enough light available. Fridge was not very cold. There was a wooden frame inside the door that was hard to see in the bad light and we caught it a few times with our heads. The only plug by the bed was hidden and you had to move the bed to be able to use it. A lot of these problems could have been avoided, at least it was cheap.

Morocco has changed

Great location, very central to most amenities, easily attained by foot however the locals / a division of staff are very unwelcoming and rude which is a total letdown to a vacation when the area relies on the tourist industry which is written in black and white, a fact and not my own perception on same. I say this because I was told by a local frequenting the same establishment that Marrakech does not rely on the tourist industry and that someone coming to their country should have the respect to learn Arabic to communicate. I find this communication very worrying and perhaps would immediately feel a sense of hidden bubbling discontent/ anger towards those helping to contribute to a society as a whole by visiting and trying to embrace other cultures. I can tell you if you examine other reviews connected with my choice of stay in great depth you will find my concern one which is not isolated. My ill treatment commenced without validation initially and then post a challenge on poor service which I have photographic evidence of, it’s very alarming how things/ behaviour of others can turn sour so quickly and how intimidating situations can become. I would not recommend much post my disappointing stay and would perhaps urge others to think twice about where they would like to spend their money, as we embrace climate change as a world as a whole there are much more choices out there if sun and culture is what you’re looking for in a vacation/ holiday.
