This luxurious hotel offers visitors a wonderful setting from which to explore the captivating city of Marrakech. The hotel is steeped in history and culture, lying just a short distance away from a wealth of attractions. The hotel enjoys close proximity to a number of shopping, dining and entertainment venues, ensuring a comfortable stay for each and every traveller. The hotel exudes sophistication and style, comprising elegantly-designed guest rooms. The rooms are fully fitted with modern amenities, for the utmost in convenience. This hotel offers an endless choice of first-class facilities, impeccable service, and meticulous attention to detail.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
We stayed in this Ryad for a week in June 26 in a Standard Double Room.
The hotel is exceptionally beautiful and spotlessly clean. The staff throughout the hotel were very professional, polite and helpful.
Our room was cleaned to a very high standard every day with bath towels being replaced twice per day. A bottle of water is placed in the room on a daily basis.
The restaurant food was delicious and service in the restaurant was mostly exceptional with the exception of a couple of evenings where the waiter seemed distracted by other guests, one evening a large corporate party, and our wine and water was held on another table away from ours so we had to rescue our drinks to the table and fill our own glasses. Unfortunately, this happened on our last night in the hotel which was a shame as we wanted it to be special.
The pool within the main hotel is in the middle of the dining area so you would have to swim between guests eating. There aren’t any pool chairs close to the pool so using it isn’t really an option. Thankfully there is a Country Club with a pool that is around 20-30 minutes away by complimentary bus. The pool is very cool and good for swimming pool lengths, there is also food and drinks available to buy.
The gym is very small and doesn’t have a lot of strength options with only one pair of dumbbells and a cable machine with some options.
The jazz bar within the hotel is a great venue and the piano player is excellent. Staff are so friendly.
The downside to the hotel in general is that food and drinks are very expensive. In addition to this there is a 10% VAT surcharge and 10% service charge added to every order. A 1l bottle of sparkling water is £10 and a bottle of Moroccan wine is £50. I just hope that the 10% service charge is given to the staff.
All in all, a beautiful hotel but very expensive.
We loved everything about this wonderful Riad. The staff were lovely and very helpful. The rooms were comfortable and cool. The breakfast was lovely. We went to the country club too which was stunning! Thankyou so much to everyone there for making our stay in Marrakech!
Absolutely gorgeous! Staff was so helpful. The entire place felt like I was staying in a palace. It was spotlessly cleaned everyday. Breakfast was delish and it was located in the medina which was wonderful.
Really nice rooftop restaurant with excellent food & deserts! People are super nice, from the people at the door to the waiters, all Incredible. We attended a cooking class there - HIGHLY RECOMMENDING! The place is clean, high quality ingredients - book it if you can!!!
Beautiful place with history, charm and real Moroccan touch. Staff is excellent and the service is top.
