This hotel is located at the end of Avenue Mohammed VI, just a few paces from the nearest nightspots. Jemaa el Fna Square is a 10-minute drive. Marrakech Airport is approximately 5 km away. This luxurious city SPA complex offers guests a large choice of top-notch restaurants, hairdressing salon, games room, a nightclub and lounge.The younger guests are welcomed to enjoy the kids' club. On-site leisure options include indoor and outdoor swimming pools and tennis courts. A well-equipped business centre is available for business travellers. All rooms come with an en-suite bathroom and home appliances. Individually regulated air conditioning is provided in all accommodation as standard, and all units feature either a balcony or a terrace.

Nice hotel but not a 5* as advertised
This hotel is beautiful and the staff are friendly and overall attentive. Rooms are nice, locations is great as it is in walking distance to shops and close by to the airport. The evening entertainment is great, food was lovely and pool was lovely with sunbeds only running out about 10am. The aqua aerobics instructor in the day is also great. There are 2 x 15 min sessions a day.
This hotel however is not a 5* as advertised by EasyJet. There are a few improvements that would be needed to even make it a 4* in my opinion.

The pool area is infested with wasps which was unpleasant and annoying. I think mainly because plates and cups are not cleared away by staff attracting them to the area

There were multiple occasions where toilet roll was not in toilets for the whole day, even after I made someone aware it wasn’t added until the next day!

Only 4 spirits (white rum, vodka, gin and whisky), wine and beer were included in the AI package. Very limited choice and everything else was paid for.

Food in the buffet was nice but limited. There was no variety and lunch and dinner were almost identical. We visited the Cat restaurant as was included but half the menu had a supplement added for simple dishes like a spaghetti bolognese.

You cannot get drinks until the pool bar opens at 11am. We were in 43 degree heat with no access to water! There were gaps in being able to get a drink throughout the day whereas every other AI I’ve visited you can get a drink pretty much 24 hours!

There’s no air con in any restaurant or indoor space and it’s too hot to sit outside. There is only AC in the rooms but it didn’t go below 23 degrees whilst we were there.
Overall it was a nice hotel and I had a great few days with my friends but improvements would need to be made for me to revisit.
**⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fantastic adults-only resort – clean, welcoming and great value!**
We have just returned from a stay at Jaal Riad Resort in Marrakech and had a wonderful experience. Overall, I’d happily rate it 9/10 and would definitely recommend it.
The first thing that stands out is how incredibly clean the hotel is. The staff are constantly cleaning throughout the day and really take pride in keeping the resort immaculate. Housekeeping was excellent, and if you leave a small tip, they’ll often decorate your room beautifully, which was a lovely touch.
The staff throughout the hotel are genuinely welcoming, friendly and always happy to help. Nothing ever seemed too much trouble.
The food was very good with plenty of choice. Like most all-inclusive hotels, it can become a little repetitive after a few days, but there was always fresh protein, eggs, salads, vegetables and carbohydrates available, so we never struggled to find something we enjoyed.
The all-inclusive package is worth mentioning. Standard drinks are included, but premium branded spirits and top-shelf drinks are available for an extra charge. We thought this was fair enough.
As part of the all-inclusive package, you can book one evening at one of the speciality restaurants (Italian or Moroccan). We chose the Italian and really enjoyed it. Just be aware that a few premium menu items, such as salmon or burrata, carry a small supplement (around £14), but there are still plenty of options included.
The gym is one of the better hotel gyms we’ve used. It has everything needed for a proper workout, whether you’re lifting weights or doing cardio. There’s also a spa offering massages and treatments if you’re looking to relax.
One thing I particularly liked was how safe the area felt. As a woman, I completed a 5 km run around the perimeter of the hotel on my own early in the morning and felt perfectly comfortable. There are also shops, cafés, a cinema and a large supermarket-style store within walking distance behind the hotel.
If you’re planning to spend the day by the pool, it’s worth getting a sunbed fairly early as they do fill up. However, the pool staff are extremely accommodating and will often bring out extra loungers if they can.
We also booked a couple of excursions which were fantastic. Our two-hour quad biking experience cost around £80 for two people and was great fun. We also visited the waterfalls on a day trip (approximately 9 am–3 pm), which was one of the highlights of our holiday. I’d definitely recommend wearing trainers as there is quite a climb to reach the waterfalls, although there are plenty of places to stop for drinks and food along the way.
The hotel attracts a nice mix of guests, mainly French, British and Moroccan visitors, creating a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
Entertainment in the evenings can be a little hit and miss, but that’s fairly typical of many all-inclusive resorts and certainly didn’t affect our holiday.
A couple of useful tips:
• Breakfast is served from 7:00 am to 10:30 am. • The bar opens at 11:00 am. • Lunch and dinner are well organised with plenty of food available. • Laundry service is available and reasonably priced—just make sure your items are clearly listed so you’re charged correctly.
Finally, if you’re thinking of visiting Marrakech itself, the main square and markets are only around 10–15 minutes away by taxi. The market traders were much more relaxed than we expected. They may ask if you’d like to buy something, but a polite “no thank you” was always respected.
Overall, Jaal Riad Resort is a beautiful adults-only hotel with excellent staff, fantastic cleanliness, good facilities and a relaxing atmosphere. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to return.

LOVELY HOTEL - VERY HAPPY
I felt compelled to write this review as unfortunately I have seen a lot of negatives feedback on Trip Advisor regarding this hotel, which I think is totally unjust. When you arrive at Jaal Riad Resort, the impressive emerald tiling really gives you a traditional feel. The enterance, and check in area, is simply stunning. The attention to detail, beautiful decoration and extremely friendly and helpful staff immediately dispelled any pre-judgements I had made based from this page. The staff personally shown us to our room, giving us a tour of the hotel whilst doing so (even the best locations around the pool to maximise sunbathing). The room was clean, and the design extremely traditional. We had a lovely lounge area and a balcony overlooking the pool. The rooms were made every day and each day they provided us with fresh water to hydrate during the 40 degree heat. The breakfast was a nice (not extensive) variety of food, including continental options, meats and cheese, pancakes and waffles and omelettes made to order. The pool side bar opens at 1100, which provides cocktails, iced coffee, beer and soft drinks. It is not limited to 2 drinks per person, contrary to information I’ve seen online. Lunch is also served in the breakfast buffet area (the main restaurant) and this consists of a salad bar, two, if not more, types of tagine, vegetables, cous cous and sweet treats. There is also an Italian and Indian selection. This remains mostly the same each day (with variety made to the main dishes) however this should not bother someone looking to immerse themselves in a different culture, and being entirely dependent on burger and chips. ‘The 02’ (where you get your drinks) also serves lunch, however this is not included in all inclusive and you will need to pay for the options on this menu. The evening meal is also served in the breakfast & lunch buffet area, and again mostly includes the same types of dishes. On an evening the hotel also provide entertainment, this could be a Morrocon show, pub quiz or even karaoke. If this bothers you - this hotel isn’t for you. Or, you may wish to plan meals out. Luckily, the hotel is only a 10-15 minute taxi journey from the Medina. I would also like to mention the special touches during our stay - such as the waiters noticing diners taking a liking to a particular area/table, and them reserving this for you each night. That being said, the hotel also has an Italian restaurant (The Cat) which you can dine at one night during your stay. This includes starters, mains and deserts and the service was impeccable. One thing I think the hotel could improve on is the quality of the sun beds. The covers are quite dirty. Though I (naturally) covered mine up with my towel, it was still not the most pleasant. I do however note they appear to be in the process of doing this, so this shouldn’t be a problem in the future. If you’re looking for complete luxury, then you need to remind yourself that you get what you pay for. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would come back (as were many other guests, who holiday here every year!).

Reviews are always personal opinions but I do feel the need to share my recent experience at the Jaal Riad. We arrived home yesterday from what can only be described as an okay stay. When we arrived i was asked for my booking confirmation, which I showed at the desk only to be told that wasn’t what they needed but the lady wasn’t able to describe to me what is was that she did need. In the end I handed my phone to a member of staff who searched my booking for what they were looking for. I still have no clue. While this was going on the man behind the desk was almost shouting at me about paying tourist tax. Which I have no problem with but I would much rather deal with one issue at a time. After a very lengthy and stressful check in procedure we were shown to our room. On first impressions it looks fine but actually isn’t very clean at all and the bathroom always had a smell of urine. The balcony was incredibly small with two old rusty chairs. Not the image that you see online. They have some very clever photography going on there. The food is ok but always just warm, never hot. In comparison to other all inclusive hotels that we have stayed in the variety was poor. The snack bar in the afternoon is small sandwiches which are kept under a hot lamp, limited salad, hard potato wedges and a meat dish that’s left over from the restaurant lunch service. Drinks are fine but even if you order a cocktail from the menu, you never get the same drink twice. When we checked out we had a two hour wait for our transfer. We were told that we were not entitled to lunch on the day we were leaving. The abrupt lady behind the reception desk then cut off our wristbands. Meaning we couldn’t even get a drink while waiting for our airport transfer in the 37 degree heat. We stayed in Marrakesh last year at a different hotel and this year thought we would try another one. We paid similar amount of money and booked the same star rating but the comparison between the two hotels is world’s apart. I would return to Marrakesh but would definitely be staying at the Tikida Gardens and not the Jaal Riad Resort. Throughly disappointed with the service and the standards at the Jaal Riad Resort,
3rd July to 10th July. Birthday stay.
All I can say is go with a open mind. Arrived 10.00ish. Asked to sit and wait to check in and was served Moroccan tea and biscuits. Was asked for our passports. Did what they needed and then was told they couldn't find us on the system so would need our booking confirmations. Given and all was sorted. Given our yellow band which was because we had booked with easyjet. On booking I stated it was for a special occasion, not once while we there was this mentioned or anything done. While we there they were in the midst of a heatwave and everyday was 43/44 degrees. We tried the Italian al a carte restaurant, which was lovely but there was added supplements which I wasn't to bothered about as it meant I had a lovely birrhday meal. Food-very repetitive come the end of the stay we ended up ordering a mcdonalds and quite a few people around the pool did this aswell. Room was basic but you don't go holiday to stay in your room all day. While there my husband was poorly and we was eating similar, the only difference he ate at the snack bar I didn't. Drinks-ok. We took a Stanley cup so we filled that up so we didn't have to go to bar as often, which I was glad about because the queues were bloody ridiculous. Sunbed situation is ridiculous my husband was getting up early to get 2 under a brolly just for some shade and relief from the heat. Would I come back- not to the hotel but would come back to marrakech.
