Hamza has made us feel comfortable from the beginning, plenty of activities to do while you are here and good food choice
From day one Hamza was very kind and welcoming. Just avoid being on his team playing volleyball, he’s rubbish! Him and the team made the holiday a lot more enjoyable. Thank you!
A beautiful hotel with some wonderful staff, but a few things that could be improved.
We had a lovely holiday overall, but for us it was a bit of a mixed bag. The hotel has so much potential and is beautifully presented, although some aspects didn’t quite live up to the peaceful, luxurious experience portrayed on social media.
I’d particularly like to mention Bahia, Khalid and Hanan, who were all exceptional. Bahia kept our room beautifully throughout our stay and was always so bright, helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. Khalid in the restaurant was warm, attentive and genuinely lovely, constantly rushing around to make sure guests were happy. Hanan at the hotel bar was equally welcoming and chatty, and made the best macchiatos! All three are a real credit to the hotel.
The positives
The reception and lounge areas are beautiful, with a lovely atmosphere and gorgeous scent. Our room was large, spotlessly clean and well appointed, with an exceptionally comfortable bed. The pastries from the hotel bakery were delicious, the coffee was good and the pools are beautiful.
The hotel is particularly peaceful in the morning, and from around 8am–10:30am it really does feel like the serene oasis advertised online.
A few disappointments
After around 10:30am, the animation team starts and the music becomes extremely loud. As all three pools are close together, there isn’t really anywhere to escape it. Some guests will undoubtedly love the lively atmosphere, but it wasn’t quite what we expected from a hotel marketed as a peaceful retreat.
The food was probably our biggest disappointment. The choice was quite limited and the hot food was often lukewarm unless you arrived as the restaurant opened. Breakfast was the highlight, particularly the fantastic selection of breads — we practically lived on them!
The hotel is part of a large resort, and some surrounding areas felt rather deserted and unwelcoming. The gym is also located a short walk away in this area, and I wouldn’t have felt comfortable walking there alone.
We also noticed a film on the surface of the pools on occasions, some competition for sunbeds and quite a few bees around the pool bar. None of these were major issues individually, but together they did detract slightly from the overall experience.
One final point worth mentioning is checkout. Although we were able to keep our room until 2pm for £20 per additional hour, once checked out our wristbands were removed and we could no longer use the facilities, including access to water. With a 9pm flight, this was disappointing and something we hadn’t experienced at an all-inclusive resort before.
Overall
There is a lot to love here. The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are excellent and the staff genuinely make the experience. With some improvements to the food, pool areas, daytime noise and post-checkout arrangements, I think this could be a truly wonderful resort.
And a special thank you to Bahia, Khalid and Hanan, you made our stay that little bit more special. ❤️
Food was awful!! And I am not a fussy eater it was bland and always the same stuff - so glad I was only there for four nights as the town is so far away which makes it harder to go out for dinner! The à la carte restaurant on sight was gross too lol!! Far from à la carte Drinks were awfulllll too! The most watered down drinks I have ever had they didn’t even taste nice!!! Hotel was lovely and clean and great pools never had to get up to early for beds! And the staff was all lovely couldn’t fault them! Again except the bar staff around the pool were a bit hit and miss! Defo would not return to this hotel just so thankful it was only a weekend break for us and not a proper holiday!
