it was a very good area and with free shuttle into the city centre where we visited the markets also the entertainment team was good especially Roni and his other co workers can’t remember their names. The food could have been a little bit better. It was a very clean hotel apart from the occasional wasp
Had a great stay highly recommend all staff were great. Entertainment staff always on point even tho they know what you’ll say. Played uno one night and I swear he cheated the win!
And the water polo I got picked last on the second to last day they begged me to play the next day.
All in all great stay and would recommend to stay here
The food is 10/10!! That was definitely the best part of the holiday! 🤩 also we had a pool ground floor room so we just walked straight out to the pool everyday. We loved how compact the hotel was so easy to get around and short distance from pool to the restaurant. The drinks are not great served in plastic cups at the pool and no waiter service at all , but the food makes up for this. Only watched the entertainment once it did not look great but can’t really judge that. If you are looking for a very relaxing holiday with beautiful food and a lovely room with great air conditioning then definitely book this hotel, the pool is so lovely and relaxing (the pool furthest from the restaurant). We had a lovely time and would come back :)
This hotel didn’t feel like a 5* hotel. From day 1 we had poor service from the bar’s, go to one bar to be told go to the outdoor bar then 30 minutes later go back to the outdoor bar to be told go to the indoor bar. One night the hotel had “run out of alcohol” how can a 5* star hotel thats fully booked run out of alcohol? Poor choice of alcohol for a 5* adult only hotel no cava only local wine, warm beer or gin vodka and whiskey a few cocktails that tastes like juice. Broken floor tiles around the hotel building including inside the pool (there should be a sign at the pool to let guests know) Our room was clean but we had problems with the shower not draining leaving the whole bathroom floor like a shallow puddle even after reporting this issue twice all they did was send a cleaner, 3rd day a maintenance man came and pulled out a lot of hair from the drain. The rooms need blackout curtains as we woke at 6AM every morning due to the sunlight shining through the curtains! The beds are huge and comfy! The rooms could do with a bit of maintenance (lights loose on the wall, loose floor tiles, squashed flies on the curtains and netting and on the walls) The smell around the pool and parts of the hotel was horrible Flies all over the food, they should cover the food as this is very noticeable The hotel shop prices were ridiculous €10 for a tub of pringles, got speaking to a lovely couple who told us they paid €60 for 2 small tubs of suncream !!! Not many people know but you can use Euros in marrakech… A few guests that had checked out at 12pm had the wrist bands taken off them and told they have to pay the rest of the day for food and drink… this didn't happen with us but just be prepared. Our check out was 12pm but wasn't leaving until 6pm we asked for a shower room later that day and they actually gave us a room and said take as long as you like so thats good This hotel should be a 3*+ until they address a few issues
We really enjoyed our time. The staff were incredibly welcoming, attentive, and professional at all times. Especially Walid and Roni, who went above and beyond to make our visit enjoyable, their friendly service really made the experience memorable for us.
