Wonderful Oasis
This is a wonderful oasis in Marrakesh.
From the moment you hear the bird song entry bell you are transported into a beautiful,sunny,serene garden. Pool area is discreetly positioned with plenty of sun beds. Fantastic sun terrace where you can have a drink and watch the sunset or sunbathe during the day . Comfy sun loungers here too.
This is a highly maintained , quality property with professional, warm staff to ensure your every comfort. Lovely personalised service in this small ,intimate hotel. Taxis, day trips and practical guidance readily available if needed.
Safe,residential area with all amenities close by.
Spacious bedrooms are quiet,well equipped and with comfortable beds.Breakfast is plentiful and tasty. Highly recommended for a memorable stay in magical Marrakesh.

Hivernage Secret Suites is the place to be
Maybe one of the most spacious rooms that we have ever been in, and we have been in a myriad of hotels around the world. It truly is a secret garden, as it is tucked away, even though it is off of a busy street. Our concierge, Abdul, was a spectacular resource. The restaurant was excellent - the breakfasts are served as a full buffet with great service. Our room even had a balcony that overlooked the pool. I recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone.

Lovely Stay
Hotel was beautiful, and so tranquil (apart from the evenings) Immaculately clean, room cleaner was amazing(sorry never got your name!) Breakfast lovely, staff amazing, big shout to Hisham, so attentive. Unfortunately I do have to address the elephant in the room, or dog as it was. Neighbours dog barking relentlessly almost every night was a major issue for us, broken sleep every night. Hopefully you can find a resolution with them, as I do feel it could possibly drive returning guests away!
Comfort, Beauty, and Incredible Hospitality
Our stay at Hivernage Secret Suites & Garden was absolutely wonderful. The employees and staff went above and beyond to make our trip truly memorable, showing such warmth and hospitality throughout our visit. The atmosphere was beautiful and serene, and the rooms were both stunning and extremely comfortable. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience—highly recommend this riad for anyone visiting Marrakech!
Cocoon in a busy city
Arriving at the guesthouse, you know it’s something special on approach to the wooden door- on a quiet residential street. Behind the door is a little oasis, a beautiful building, gardens and pool. The welcome provided by Abdou made us feel right at home.
The room was substantial, comfortable and very clean. The housekeeper does a great job across the rooms and wider property. Our window looked over the pool and it was a pleasant view to wake up to.
Abdel is a huge asset to this guesthouse. Friendly, knowledgeable and professional. He was kind and bright with the best of attitudes. He looked after us very well with recommendations and bookings.
This accommodation is listed as 5 star but it doesn’t quite make this mark. It’s very good but not exceptional…
Breakfast is OK- perhaps not entirely fresh. Eggs etc were cold, the coffee is from a machine and other hot choices appeared to be somewhat dry. Nice pastries and bread. Hisham who looks after breakfast is very pleasant but my constructive feedback is not to stand over guests so much, it’s off putting and a little uncomfortable over a period of days. A little bit of music playing in the breakfast room might just bring a little atmosphere too.
The large roof terrace is a lovely spot for sunshine - as there is mostly shade around the pool. The beds on the terrace are comfy but have a lot of bird droppings etc. When towels are collected in the morning, they were damp.
The barking dog has been mentioned in previous reviews- it’s a shame that it disturbs sleep but it’s out of the control of the management and we managed to get enough sleep to feel rested.
All in all, it’s a 4 star experience at the moment, with the ingredients to be a 5 star guesthouse with a few tweaks. The setting is special, 30 mins walk to the medina and 15 mins to some great restaurants in the new part of the city. It was also good value at the rate we paid.
