the bar was verry nice! we were just passing by and decided to have a few light drinks. we had a great conversation with the barmans Karim and morjana they were very friendly! great spot and awesome views
What a fabulous Oasis in Morocco, made especially good by the staff. Without a doubt the friendliest, most welcoming of any hotel. Special mention to Faycal (Al Ain restaurant), Ilyass (Caprici) and the bar staff - Hafsa, Yassime and Zouhin. Definitely the best Mojito I’ve ever had anywhere in the world !
We went to Fairmont Royal Palm in June and honestly can't fault a single thing.
The setting and architecture. The resort sits inside a centuries-old olive grove with the Atlas Mountains framing the horizon, and the buildings have been designed to sit within that landscape rather than dominate it. Low-slung, beautifully proportioned pavilions, courtyards that open onto water and greenery, and clean modern lines softened by proper Moroccan craftsmanship — carved woodwork, zellige tilework, and warm earth tones throughout. It manages the rare trick of feeling unmistakably Moroccan without ever tipping into pastiche. We found ourselves taking photos of doorways and corridors, not just the views.
The food met our expectations across the board. We enjoyed the Lebanese fusion cuisine at Al Ain in particular.
What really elevates this hotel is the people. By day two, staff across the property were greeting us by first name — no stiffness, just warm, genuine hospitality.
Our children also enjoyed the Kids' Club. The activities kept them busy and the lady in charge there was patient, attentive and clearly loved she did. We also enjoyed the red clay tennis courts, had a blast playing there and enjoyed the pool next to it just after to freshen up.
A special thank you to the entire housekeeping team, and especially to Noura and Khadija — their care, attention to detail and daily kindness made our room feel like home. They deserve every bit of recognition.
Five stars without hesitation and we will go back!
Had the pleasure of staying in villa 5 with our 3 children for our anniversary. Kids loved the private pool, outdoor dining and food… we loved the incredible service, huge walk in wardrobes and bathrooms and top tier experince. All staff were attentive, professional and friendly… the villa was phenomenal and nothing was too much trouble. It made our 2 week stay unforgettable and we will be returning very soon.
The hotel grounds were spectacular, hubby and son loved the golf course and the service was what you would expect from a top tier hotel anywhere in the world. Don’t hesitate to book.
Karim’s hospitality is exceptional and he’s very patient and tolerant. By far the best mocktail I’ve had, especially the passion fruit with raspberries, hit the spot. Just beyond exceptional…..
