This hotel is located only 100 m from Jemaa El Fna Square and is an excellent starting point from which to discover Marrakech and its old monuments. The Menara gardens and basin, the ramparts and the Koutoubia Mosque are all about 50 m away. The nearest train station is approximately 5 minutes away by car and there are shops accessible in around a 2-minute walk from the hotel. Ras Al Khaimah airport is to be found roughly 10 km from the establishment.
This boutique hotel is housed in a large building with several communal areas rather than one large reception area. With a wonderful courtyard, the grounds are lush and fragrant with gardens, fruit trees and flowers. The rooms are individually decorated and well-equipped. It is air-conditioned and welcomes guests in its lobby at the 24-hour reception. A hotel safe also features as do currency exchange facilities and a bar. Food and drink are served at the restaurant, and both room and laundry services are provided.
The rooms located between the garden level and the 1st floor are all extended with a private terrace or private garden, spacious and luxurious king-size or twin bed, a flat-screen TV, individually regulated air conditioning and heating, a fireplace, direct dial telephone, and en suite bathroom with bath and a separate toilet. A minibar and safe also feature, and guests can stay connected thanks to the rooms' Internet access.
The hotel offers guests an outdoor swimming pool, and fans of the fairway can tee off at the golf course located some 20 minutes away by car from the hotel.
With its fine dining, guests can enjoy a world of exciting flavours, expertly blended by a professional cook. Breakfast is served in the morning.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.

Charming hotel in beautiful garden setting
This hotel is a one off. Convenient location, 30 minutes walk from the souks. Beautiful smaller hotel, full of character set in beautiful gardens. Our suite was full of charm but still with all mod cons. Comfortable bed, which makes a change in hotels these days. Small pool, lovely bar with good cocktails and Moroccan wines. Wonderful staff and service, and they keep the hotel spotlessly clean. We had an amazing 4 night stay. Would highly recommend.

Very bad customer service, wouldn’t recommend
Beautiful hotel, but unfortunately the customer service was extremely disappointing.
I accidentally booked the wrong dates due to a booking error and noticed it immediately. Within seconds of making the reservation, I contacted Booking.com and requested a cancellation. Both Booking.com and the hotel acknowledged that it was a genuine mistake and that I had reached out right away. Also, I am pregnant and in no way able to go on the booked dates.
Despite this, the hotel refused to offer any flexibility, goodwill gesture, alternative solution, credit, partial refund, or any attempt to help. The reservation is still months away, yet there was absolutely no willingness to think along with the customer.
For a luxury hotel, I expected a much higher level of hospitality and customer care. Mistakes happen, but how a hotel chooses to handle them says a lot about its service.
The property may be beautiful, but based on my experience, the customer service falls far below what I would expect from a hotel in this category.

Dar Rhizlane is a true oasis in the heart of Marrakech. The setting is simply stunning – beautiful gardens, elegant décor, and a peaceful atmosphere that makes you forget you’re in a busy city.
The food was outstanding, combining traditional Moroccan flavors with refined presentation. Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. The cocktails and drinks were equally impressive – creative, refreshing, and served with great attention to detail.
What made the evening even more special was the excellent service. The staff were professional, friendly, and genuinely attentive throughout the entire dinner.
If you’re looking for a memorable dining experience in Marrakech with top-quality food, amazing drinks, and a magical atmosphere, Dar Rhizlane is a must-visit.

Very disappointing communication before arrival
This was supposed to be my first stay at Dar Rhizlane and part of my first visit to Morocco.
I accidentally cancelled my reservation approximately 90 seconds after making it and immediately asked for the original booking to be reinstated under the same terms.
Expedia contacted the hotel several times, and I also contacted Dar Rhizlane directly by email on multiple occasions. Unfortunately, I never received a clear response from the hotel.
I fully understand that cancellation policies exist, and I am not disputing that. What disappointed me was the complete lack of communication regarding a very simple request.
For a hotel with this reputation and positioning, I expected a much higher level of responsiveness and hospitality before arrival.
In the end, I chose to book elsewhere.
Unfortunately, this created a very poor first impression of Dar Rhizlane before I even had the opportunity to stay there.

Dar Rhizlane - a superb oasis
Arrived on the Sunday on a very early flight from London. Our room naturally wasn't ready but Fatima looked after us and made sure that not only were our bags looked after but let us know when our room was ready
Room: beautifully curated and stylised and a covered outdoor terrace looming over the gardens. The bed was huge (emperor size I believe) and so comfortable. A small fridge/minibar and TV with plenty of English channels. The bathroom was also beautifully stylish with a full sized bath and over bath shower. Only slightly awkward element was the fact the shower didn't have a screen of any sort but given the way the room was designed I think this might have been difficult to install. We had a turn down service every night and the room made up each morning
Pool: clean, quiet and peaceful. A calm atmosphere that was beautiful to come back to after a day in the souls
Restaurant/bar: we ate here a few times. Prob slightly pricey for what it is but the quality of the food and the service were superb. We had breakfast each morning and it was a bit of a lottery as to what we would receive which was a shame. Sometimes fruit accompanied the breakfast and sometimes it didn't. Sometimes cheese and sometimes not. We were never really sure. We had lunch a couple of times and quite frankly something like the surf and turf salad with a side of fries was more than enough for two people!
Location: probably about a 20-25 minute walk from Koutoubia Mosque so a bit of a walk. Taxis are plentiful and don't pay more than 50DHR for one each way. Ask the front door security to call you a cab and always confirm the price before starting your journey.

Recommendations/tips: El Fenn is worth a visit for food and drink. Majorelle Gardens and get the first tickets of the day. El Foundouk for dinner. Wander the souks and barter. It's expected. Ask them their price then go back with 50% off and go from there. Watch out for people trying to jump your taxi ride for free. Ask the hotel to arrange a day out of Marrakesh. We had a day in the Atlas Mountains and lunch at a Berber House with the most stunning views.
