I would highly recommend this hotel; every member of staff has been really warm and welcoming! They can't do enough for you. It's clean and well-presented. There are activities to do during the day, and the evening entertainment was lovely and entertaining! I would highly recommend and will be coming back again for sure.
Our stay – honest review
We’ve had a really enjoyable stay at this hotel overall and, for us, there was more than enough to do without even needing to leave the resort.
The rooms were one of the big positives. They were spacious, kept very clean and the maids came in every day. They would ask if you wanted fresh towels, and there’s also a leaflet you can put on the bed if you want them changed. The hotel tries to save water by only automatically changing towels on the third day, unless you ask otherwise, which I thought was a nice touch. The room also comes with a safe and a bottle of water in the fridge. One little tip: if the maids see that your bottle is still full, they won’t replace it, so we took ours down to the pool each day and got a replacement.
The staff were probably the biggest positive for us. We genuinely didn’t have a single complaint about any member of staff. They all seemed very friendly and many speak multiple languages, so there was always someone able to help. They were also very accommodating. I managed to stupidly lock myself out of our safe 😂, went to reception to ask for help and within about two minutes someone had knocked on our door and opened it for us. Another nice touch was the sports area in reception. They show live sport every day and when I asked the bartender if they could put the Liverpool game on, they were more than happy to do so and even changed it to English commentary.
The food is probably the most mixed part of the experience. Breakfast was good, with the basics, pastries and pancakes, although if you’re expecting a traditional English breakfast, there aren’t the usual beans, hash browns etc. A lot of the food is based around local cuisine, which is great if you enjoy trying different things, but could be more difficult if you’re a fussy eater. If you have fussy children, expect plenty of chicken nuggets and chips! 😂
The pool snack bar was actually a highlight for us. It opens at 1pm and we used it every day for lunch. There’s a good range of food, including chicken burgers, pizzas and other options, and personally we found the lunch there better than the restaurant lunch.
The pool area is very spacious and there were plenty of sunbeds available during our stay. We visited in the first week of September, so obviously it may be different during peak months, but the hotel does have a strict no-reserving-sunbeds rule and, from what we saw, they appeared to stick to it. The main pool is on the colder side, but in the Moroccan heat we actually found this refreshing and a great way to cool down. The pool also varies in depth, with shallower areas where you can sit and deeper sections of around 1.5m if you want to properly swim.
There’s also a separate kids’ pool, with two larger slides for slightly bigger children and smaller slides for younger ones, which is a good setup for families with children of different ages.
The entertainment was another positive. We didn’t go every night, but on the nights we did attend we found it good and entertaining. The hotel has a large outdoor theatre which seemed very popular and is a nice change from the usual hotel entertainment setup. During the day there are activities such as aqua aerobics, darts, football and water polo. These are fairly standard resort activities, but they’re always a good way of bringing people together.
There are also plenty of little extras around the hotel. There’s a small shop where you can buy souvenirs, snacks and drinks, table tennis tables which are free and easily accessible, and a gym. The gym is quite basic, with a couple of machines, treadmills and a dumbbell rack with plenty of weights. It does the job if you want to fit in a quick workout while on holiday, but it’s not somewhere you’d go if having a fully equipped gym is important to you. It also gets very hot inside and the air conditioning didn’t seem particularly effective.
The hotel also advertises various excursions and activities outside the resort, including hot-air balloon rides, quad biking and camel riding. We didn’t personally do any of these, so can’t comment on them, but it’s good to know they’re available.
One thing to be aware of is the area outside the hotel. We didn’t actually leave the resort during our stay, partly because there was more than enough to do inside the hotel. However, there didn’t appear to be a huge amount going on immediately outside, so this is probably a hotel that works particularly well if you’re looking for a resort-style holiday where you can stay on-site and relax.
Overall
Overall, we’ve really enjoyed our stay. The rooms, cleanliness, staff, pool facilities and amount of activities were all big positives for us. The food is the main area where opinions may differ, particularly if you’re travelling with fussy children or want lots of traditional British food, but the pool snack bar helped massively with this.
For us, the standout feature was definitely the staff. Everyone we dealt with was friendly, helpful and willing to go that extra mile, which makes a big difference to a holiday.
We’d definitely say this is a good option if you’re looking for a family-friendly resort where you can spend most or all of your holiday on-site without running out of things to do.
We had a wonderful stay at Be Live and really enjoyed every part of the experience. From the entertainment to the bar, restaurant, and pool area, the atmosphere was fantastic and the staff made us feel very welcome.
A special thank you to Mimi and Mourad from the entertainment team. They were full of energy, friendly, and always made sure everyone was having fun. Their enthusiasm really made our days and evenings more enjoyable.
The bar staff — Houssni, Ashraf, Brahim, and Mohammad — were also exceptional. They were always friendly, attentive, and professional, and their great service made us feel very well looked after.
A special mention to Lahcen, the lifeguard, who was attentive, helpful, and always made sure everything around the pool was safe and comfortable.
And of course, thank you to Soufiane from the restaurant team for his excellent service, kindness, and attention to detail. He always made us feel welcome and helped make our meals even more enjoyable.

We had an amazing stay at this resort. Staff were lovely and supportive Abdellah (the receptionist at check in) was very helpful. He signposted us to places within the resort (the bar for late breakfast). He was kind and welcoming Ilham, one of the hotel managers was very hospitable. Answered all questions and provides needed support to ensure everything went smoothly. The resort had a live band on Friday night. Queues to those teams Although food were not too decent. Will be lovely to have better food options
