Nice hotel but significant areas to improve
There's things to like about the hotel - the setting and layout is nice, the staff all work hard to be attentive and service-driven, rooms are great, and on the whole the food was good. However, some important things need a mention:

They ask for a £80 deposit per room. We were told that this covers damage and theft. For a hotel marketing themselves as luxury, this is extremely strange. I have never been to a luxury hotel in the world that takes a deposit for this, nor many standard hotels for that matter. Upon check-out we were told that the deposits would be returned once the rooms were empty and had been 'inspected'. The result of this inspection was that we were asked to pay 50 MAD (£4) because one of the mugs was missing. We explained that a coffee made in the room was taken down to the lobby bar, where it was left. Apparently this was not good enough - the mug was missing from the room so they needed the money. I can only think this was because they did not believe our explanation and were therefore assuming we had stolen it. Quite why someone would want to steal a white mug with a small Be Live Hotel logo on, I have no idea. Absolutely pathetic. Even after explaining that the reputational damage from me writing this review would far exceed the cost of a mug (which wouldn't have cost them £4 anyway), the reception staff still did not get it. I handed over the 50 MAD as we were now late for our transfer (this wasn't about the money itself), but highly recommended that they seek guidance from the more senior hotel management over this embarrassing policy. What a way to treat your guests!

At check-in, our group of 19 arrived at midnight after a delay landing. I felt sorry for the guy on reception as he had a lot to deal with, but this cannot be the first time that a large group have arrived together. After being given my key-card for a room that my friend had already checked into earlier, I was astounded to walk into the room to be met with 2 people sleeping, initially very confused but quickly very angry that they had an intruder. Obviously I apologised and made a quick exit, but felt extremely anxious about what had happened. I returned to reception and vented my frustration and anger, for which of course he apologised and gave me the correct room key. While this should never have happened in the first place, of course sometimes big mistakes can happen, but no compensation was offered in any way for this. I would have expected the hotel to have treated this matter very seriously and made contact with both myself plus the people who's room I was given access to.
In summary, the hotel has potential to be very nice, but the above experiences made it memorable for all the wrong reasons.

Zizo and Ahmed and bar managers. They are very professional, excellent services. Serving with much care and respect.great food

Very disappointed
After reading all the very good reviews about this hotel we were looking forward visiting
But sadly left feeling very disappointed
There is a lot of things that fell well short of there 5 star rating.
Firstly the food
Breakfast was good. Fresh and with a good selection
Lunch and dinner buffet was bland and mostly cold
Restaurant was very small with long queues
The snack bar food was excellent !!!
Always fresh with good selection
Drinks !!
Very poor Although some branded drinks on offer the vodka was more like paint stripper
Pools.
Broken tiles everywhere. In pool and surrounds
Hand rails broken
General cleaning very poor. Glasses and rubbish everywhere.
Rooms.
Large comfortable and clean although basic furniture no robes or slippers.
Entertainment was a hit or miss some good some
Not great.
It was held outside using the snack bar chairs and tables which is ok but you had to sit on the same dirty stained cushions people were using all day
Staff
Everyone I encountered were polite and professional and work very hard.
Although a nice break in the sun will definitely not be back !!!

Be Live Adults Only - Marrakech
My family & I had a fantastic stay here! The location is beautiful and the staff is incredible~ we were celebrating my dad’s 60th birthday & Hasna, the PR Relations specialist, went above and beyond to make it special (she had a cake and mini celebration for him at the end of our stay.) Akram, part of the breakfast & lunch crew was an exceptional host & server who constantly checked on us and brought fresh pastries & drinks for each meal. The manager was also incredibly hospitable and upgraded my parent’s sweet on the last night of their stay. Highly recommend this resort if you want a stay that convenient and top-notch hospitality.

My marvelous memorable stay at Be Live Collection
I had a week long family holiday at Be Live Collection and it was a wonderful experience. From the first day till the last, we had a truly superb stay. The staff were very helpful, the rooms were very clean and spacious, and the food!! Oh my, we ate until we were loaded. Top quality food, very tastey and filling.
The ambiance of the hotel was very classy and the free shuttles to and back from the city centers helped a lot.
My family was in Marrakech to celebrate a landmark birthday of a family member and the Relationship Manager Miss Hasna made us feel so very welcomed and ensured we had the best experience all through. She coordinated a surprise birthday celebration for my brother and the staff sang birthday songs for him and presented a gift birthday cake.
Lifetime memories were created for my family and I and we recommend staying there to everyone. I will not hesitate staying there again and again.
