- Aqua Mirage Club Marrakech

This modern hotel boasts a package of a traditional-style courtyards, wonderfully landscaped gardens and a waterpark-crowned pool scene. Its well-appointed rooms feature traditional Moroccan décor with some fresh touches like flat-screen TVs. Their only downside is that due to the amount of attractions the venue offers, guests won't spend enough time in them. They will be spoiled with choice at the exciting first-rate waterpark that is loaded with slides including a Spacebowl, Blackhole and a section just for the youngest guests chock-full of slides and fountains. Plus there are 2 extra pools and a poolside bar to provide endless stream of chilled drinks. The lights of the Red City, called so due to the blush-coloured walls that surround it, are just a 20-minute shuttle bus ride away and it is still exciting as ever and still offers a magical mix of modern and traditional.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great family holiday with a few small improvements needed
We recently spent two weeks at Aqua Mirage Marrakech Hotel Club and overall had a really enjoyable stay. The weather was fantastic, with only one overcast day during our whole holiday!
The staff were one of the highlights — friendly, helpful, and always welcoming. The animation and entertainment team were also brilliant. They were funny, friendly, and made a real effort to include everyone, keeping a great atmosphere and vibe around the hotel.
The à la carte restaurants were a real 10/10. There are two to choose from, one offering Italian food and the other Moroccan, and both were excellent. The main food selection was also very good, with plenty of variety, and the desserts were lovely. The kids especially enjoyed the mini disco. We didn’t use the kids’ club, but it was great to see how much the children enjoyed the entertainment.
The hotel is also very convenient for the airport, being no more than around 20 minutes away, and the shuttle service into the city centre was excellent. It is worth bearing in mind that the hotel is some distance from the centre, and taxis were around 200 dirhams each way when we used them.
There were a few things that I felt were disappointing for a 4-star hotel. There were no tea or coffee-making facilities in the room and no iron available to hire. We had to hire a kettle at 25 dirhams per day. Beach towels also had to be hired at 150 dirhams, which I felt was quite expensive. For drinks, the only sugar-free option was Coke Zero, and unfortunately all the desserts contained nuts, so I couldn’t enjoy them at all.
These are small things, but they would make a big difference if improved. A few basic additions to the rooms and a little more choice for guests with dietary requirements would really help bring the hotel up to the standard you would expect from a 4-star property.
Overall, though, we had a lovely holiday. The friendly staff, great entertainment, excellent à la carte restaurants, good food variety, and fantastic weather made it a quality stay. With a few small improvements, this hotel could be even better. We would happily consider returning. 🌴
Not the best. Had better. Rooms are NOT spacious as described. Family of 4 . 2 adults, 9 year old, 3 year old .No room for suitcases, nor buggy. No room on balcony. Don't bend over in the shower as you will take out the shower door. Only room in shower room for 1 person. No kettle and machines on site are not that good or plugged in. No draw for underwear. Water is not freely available. Had a bottle of water given at dinner, but not allowed to take it with me when I left, not really sure why.small bottles are available at poolside. Smoking around the pool is disgusting and people flicking their ash on floor by pool. Young children are playing around the pool, but no one seems to stop this filthy behaviour. There are plenty of ashtrays around. The flies and bee's horrendous. Don't come here to have a tipsy night, drinks are served in small cups, not even half pint cups not enough staff to serve you, plus you spend so much time waiting for a drink, you miss the show, but you have to watch that standing up because there are not enough chairs. Most things are clean, rooms ,around the pool is ok. Dinning room, but the black and red chairs are dirty and sticky. I have watch more TV on this holiday than ever before. Value for money...your having a laugh. If your kids want an ice-cream wait til 7pm. If you want one before you will pay for it at pool side !, so this hotel is not Value for money. Sadly there has been no sun on this holiday, that is something no one can do anything about, the sun does make a big difference if that is what you want but truth is this hotel, is not all inclusive as described. Safe to say, I would not rate this hotel.
First of all I had a very good time at the hotel with my wife and kids I enjoyed my holiday. Location is go only 20 mins from the airport in a private transfer.
Atmosphere on a night is really good entertainment is brilliant, you just need to get a table early because by half 8pm you have zero chance, get dinner at 7pm and get out to a table, wait for drinks on a night is a nightmare there clearly isn’t enough staff.
Rooms very basic the showers are poor but it is what it is.
My advice would be if you are an adult and your kids are over 16 go to the adult only pool is peaceful and you get drinks no problem no waiting and there is tea and coffee also sports bar on a night is always good to chill and get a drink away from all the noise.
Aqua park is good entertainment to fill in a couple hours.
Overall it was a good holiday.
I recently spent 5 days at Aqua Mirage with my mother and my two sons, aged 8 and 16. Overall, they had an great time and thoroughly enjoyed the holiday.
The highlight of the trip was definitely the aqua park and the football activities. We met some fantastic families during our stay, and each evening there were friendly football matches where everyone could get involved. It created a great atmosphere and helped make the holiday memorable for both children and adults.
The food was unfortunately one of the weaker aspects of the resort. I found it repetitive and often lacking variety. I was particularly unimpressed with the food available at the aqua park snack bar. There were also a large number of wasps around the outdoor dining areas, and unfortunately I was stung during our stay.
Check-in was straightforward, although we did have to wait for a short period before our room was ready. Check-out, however, could be improved. Guests with late flights are required to check out at the standard time and then wait in the lobby without access to many of the hotel facilities, despite effectively paying for that entire day. This was disappointing and made the last day less enjoyable.
Despite being extremely busy during peak periods, the staff remained helpful, friendly and professional, which was appreciated.
The evening entertainment was enjoyable and provided a nice way to end the day.
Overall, Aqua Mirage offers great facilities for families, particularly children who enjoy water parks and sports activities. While there are areas that could be improved, especially the food, wasp control and late check-out arrangements, we still had a good holiday and made some wonderful memories.
Family holiday to this hotel really easy to get to from airport maybe 20mins in taxi , staff very friendly and easy to talk to , the rooms are really good we managed to get a conjoined room with balcony , I think we went on an English holiday as it was very busy time of year I would go back but not that time of year as just far too busy for my family just our preference, everything is very clean and tidy , I would say to anyone heading out the 5.30am starts to get towels down on a sunbed was rubbish but only option we had as not enough sun loungers for guests if your not fast your last , drink selection isn't great you have a choice of vodka, brandy, gin or beer . Meal times you can get red, white, rose wine mmmm not the best each to there own , you have your usual tea coffee and fizzy drinks , I think it was just a busy time of year we went but meal times are just crazy with the amount of people everywhere we as a family found it overwhelming and dreaded it some days we did try and go different times to avoid the carnage but was the same every time the food it's self is really nice real mixtures and plenty choice, loads of entertainment at the hotel and plenty to choose from a list of excursions , midou and the entertainment team go out there way to make sure everyone is good having fun and safe at all times they really don't stop they really make your holiday experience the Very best I wish them all the best. I could go on and on everyone has different experiences and expectations holidays are what you make of them and for us we had a really good time.
