We visited this hotel with great excitement after admiring it online for a long time and traveling all the way from Turkey specifically to experience its beauty and atmosphere.

Unfortunately, although we were never informed in advance about any photography restrictions, we were approached in a very uncomfortable and unwelcoming manner while taking a few casual photos. The issue was never the rule itself — we would have immediately respected any policy if it had been explained kindly.

What disappointed us most was the attitude of the staff member handling the situation. The approach was unnecessarily harsh, cold, and far from the level of empathy and hospitality expected from such a prestigious hotel. Instead of feeling welcomed, we left feeling embarrassed and humiliated.

We would still like to sincerely thank Omar for his kindness, professionalism, and respectful attitude afterward. His approach was the only thing that softened this disappointing experience for us.

Amanjena is one of the most beautiful and peaceful properties I’ve stayed at. The architecture is breathtaking, and the entire resort has a timeless, serene atmosphere that immediately allows you to slow down and relax. Every corner of the property is beautifully maintained, making it feel like a true oasis.

The rooms are elegant, spacious, and beautifully designed, the heated pool was wonderful, and every meal hit the spot. The culinary team consistently exceeded our expectations. You have to try their local wine!

What truly made this stay unforgettable, however, was our personal host, Amin. After staying at many luxury resorts around the world, I can honestly say he is the best I’ve ever had. His level of care, professionalism, and genuine kindness was extraordinary. He anticipated our needs, offered thoughtful recommendations, and always made us feel like his top priority.

One moment that perfectly captures his dedication was when I needed superglue. Rather than simply telling me it wasn’t available, Amin went out of his way to arrange for someone to go and purchase it for me. It’s such a small thing, but it’s exactly this mindset of finding solutions instead of obstacles that made all the difference. He even encouraged us to contact him on his days off if we needed anything. That level of commitment is incredibly rare. He was always eager to help, completely genuine, and truly invested in making sure every aspect of our stay was perfect.

One thing I especially appreciated about Amanjena is how much they respect their guests’ privacy. The service is always there when you need it, yet never intrusive. It’s a balance that is difficult to achieve, and they do it flawlessly.

Beautiful resorts can be found all over the world, but people like Amin are exceptionally rare. Amanjena is fortunate to have both a breathtaking property and truly world-class hospitality. We left feeling genuinely cared for, and we’re already looking forward to returning.

I have visited the Amanjena with my family many times. I have always loved it - its stillness, its beauty, its discretion - the complete antitheses of the Medina.

I took the plunge and I booked the whole of the Amanjena for my husband's birthday celebrations. From the moment we arrived, the hotel felt like a private sanctuary for our international guests. The welcome from the wonderful staff set the tone for the whole weekend - full of worth, fun and friendship.

Our guests were stunned by the Moroccan architecture, raw rammed-earth tones, and water features that catch the desert light. Set amidst ancient olive groves, the property offers a rare kind of stillness—deep, uninterrupted, and total. True luxury is feeling anticipated rather than serviced, the staff here manage to do this effortlessly.

The rooming staff were radiant, warm, and perpetually smiling, they greeted us like family every single morning, handling private requests, unpacking logistics, and appearing magically right when we needed assistance. The pool & garden staff were impeccably discreet yet endlessly attentive, keeping loungers pristine, refreshing iced water, and pausing to share a genuine smile or wave or joke. The execution of the events - Flawless. Every transfer, surprise reveal, lighting shift, and guest accommodation happened without a single stutter or visible seam.

The F & B team - wow - Breakfast - Vibrant morning spreads featuring freshly baked Moroccan flatbreads, local honey, seasonal figs, pressed juices, and hot dishes crafted to order. Mid-afternoon mint tea paired with delicate gazelle horns, warm msemen, and spiced almond pastries served under the shade.

The event dinners were masterclasses in balance—generous, aromatic Moroccan dishes and artfully plated contemporary courses that honoured local and international cuisines. Dinner in the Olive Grove - extraordinary. Then - emotional high point of the weekend. Long tables draped under an African sky, candles, lights, crystals, the stage for the band - what a celebration!

The bar service & impromptu late-night party on day 2 - when the milestone energy spilled past 2am, the bar team didn’t blink— and kept the craft cocktails flowing!

There are not enough superlatives to explain how amazing this place is - Tim the GM, has an extraordinary team here - indeed - a full buyout requires immense trust in a property's team and they so delivered. Mariam my 'co-host' was just an angel in disguise! This staff didn't just execute my event - they guarded the joy of our entire group for three days.
