- Amani Hotel

This hotel boasts a prime location at the heart of Marrakech. The hotel is located in l'Hivernage, close to the Palace of Congress, the Royal Theatre and the train station. The renowned Jemaa el Fna Square can be found just a 10 minutes' walking distance away. Guests will find themselves just a 20 minutes' walk from the Koutoubia. Menara Airport is conveniently situated just a 20 minutes' walk away. The hotel features a delightful restaurant, where delectable dishes can be enjoyed. Also, it features a pool and sun loungers, as well as a rooftop sun terrace. This hotel enjoys a superb design, beautifully combining traditional and contemporary elements. The hotel's rooms and flats are sumptuously designed.
The hotel feels very outdated, with décor that’s seen better days. For such a hot country, the air conditioning is disappointing — you have to leave it running all day just to return to a reasonably cool room. I travel frequently, and I honestly can’t think of another hotel anywhere that neither offers ironing services nor provides an iron for guests.
The only positives are the friendly, helpful staff and the excellent location, which makes it easy to get around Marrakesh. Overall, however, the hotel falls short and the rooms need significant upgrades. And please — invest in an iron for your guests.
Absolutely fantastic staff. The hotel is nice with clean an inviting public areas and a cafe bar where a plentiful breakfast is served. Everywhere was clean and tidy but the room we were in could do with singer improvement. The bed area was fine but the bathroom was very tired, with poor decoration. However, again, cleanliness was not a problem. There’s a nice rooftop terrace serving a somewhat restricted menu. The food is acceptable but will not win any awards. We didn’t use the pool area and whilst the pool is small the area is very inviting and looks like a great place to relax, if that’s your thing. Basically a nice hotel needing some TLC to at least our bathroom.
Amani Hotel is appreciated for its quiet and peaceful location, a bit set back from the busiest part of town but still within easy reach of shops, cafes, and the main beach areas. Guests often mention the clean and comfortable rooms, with simple but functional furnishings that make for a pleasant stay.
The staff are frequently described as friendly and welcoming, always ready to help with directions, local tips, or booking activities, which adds to the warm, relaxed vibe of the place. Many travelers like the calm atmosphere — it’s a good choice if you’re looking for somewhere more tranquil after a long day of surf or sightseeing.
Breakfast is generally seen as good value with a nice variety, and the common areas offer pleasant spots to relax.
On the flip side, some reviewers note that the Wi-Fi can be inconsistent, especially if you need reliable internet for work or video calls. A few guests also mention that the décor and amenities are basic rather than luxurious, but it still feels clean and comfortable overall.
Overall, Amani Hotel is seen as a solid, relaxed option for travelers who value quiet surroundings, helpful staff, and a comfortable stay without expecting high-end luxury.
