Luxury rest after a safari
Beautiful beach front location and a peaceful luxury hotel. Room delightful with aircon, coffee machine and very clean. There’s a comfortable balcony where you can be entertained by garden monkeys! Great pool and restaurants and the all inclusive package was very good giving a variety of places to eat and drink. The Indian restaurant set menu was particularly impressive and there is a good gym and I recommend the massage treatments. The sea front provides a selection of tours and water activities. The glass bottomed boat and snorkelling on the outer reef and sandbar was great. Be prepared to be regularly hassled by hawkers in the beach nevertheless. No access for them to the hotel. A perfect location for a mini break after a safari.

I recommend!
The hotel and its upkeep were of the highest standard. Our room was cleaned twice, and sometimes even three times a day, which honestly surprised us. The whole property was beautifully maintained, and the location on Galu Beach is lovely, a wide beach with a calmer atmosphere than the more crowded parts of the coast.
What impressed us most was the staff. Friendly, always smiling and genuinely caring, they made us feel looked after throughout our entire stay. In the end, it is the people who stay in your memory the most.
One honest note for future guests, and this is not a complaint about the hotel, as the vendors are not allowed on the property. Unfortunately, walking freely along the beach is practically impossible. The moment you reach the edge of the hotel grounds, the beach sellers spot you and head your way, usually several at once, and they are hard to shake off, a simple “no, thank you” is not enough. For us this was a clear downside, as we had expected there would be fewer of them and that it would be easier to decline. In the end we used one of them once, picked a little by gut feeling on who seemed more trustworthy, and went with a guide into the low-tide flats to see the sea life, which was actually a nice little excursion. It is simply worth being prepared for this in advance.
We wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in Kenya. We returned home with wonderful memories. Thank you to the whole Neptune Palm Beach team!
