Sunrise Arabian Beach Resort

We had a really nice family holiday with our children at Sunrise Arabian Beach Resort. Most of the pools were suitable for children, so they weren't limited to just one kids pool which they really enjoyed. They loved how the beach had a good sand area and loved the beach swings. The resort was clean and well looked after, our family suite room had lots of space king bed and double beds x2. Very comfortable beds/ pillows and there was a good choice of food all over the resort throughout the day. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay; Hisham was always quick to bring anything we needed, often without even asking. Hussam was always friendly playing and keeping my baby smiling in the restaurant. My kids enjoyed the pancakes for breakfast made in the incredible heat. The same goes for the guys making the burgers by the pool. It was close to 40°C, their effort definitely didn't go unnoticed. The Spa Manager provided great service. Arranged Jasmine - therapist speaks fluent English, which made communication easy. And Toha from the salon did my pedicure and did such a good job. And finally, Ammar, the Quality Manager. It's evident that he is doing a great job in maintaining the quality and standards of the resort and making sure guests are receiving quality service. Hats off to him. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and most importantly out children had a great time. I have read a couple of negative reviews on here which is unfair for a resort that is trying very hard to keep us happy. I think if you politely ask staff /management any queries they will be happy to help. If you didn't do that then maybe that's the issue. Just to add I have never left reviews and have been on plenty of 5 star resorts. But this one really had outstanding service. We would definitely consider coming back as a family.

I stayed here from 29th August - 7th September with my partner and had a wonderful experience. The hotel is a 10-15 drive from the airport and is only a short drive from any activities. The hotel has multiple pools, however we stayed in one that was conveniently directly outside of our building (Dahlia). Our room was extremely spacious and we had a decent sized balcony which was facing the pool area. Room was cleaned everyday, but if you want your bed sheets changed you need to leave the little card provided on the bed to let the cleaner know. The stand out factor for me was the food in the all inclusive. I am an extremely fussy eater so was a bit worried, however I was pleasantly surprised. There was a wide selection for breakfast including fresh fruits, pastries and pancakes with Nutella (my favourite). Lunch was equally as diverse with a selection of different cooked meats. The snack bar was a little bit repetitive, serving chicken nuggets, hotdogs, burgers and fries however all was very tasty. Dinner again was very nice with a multitude of options. We had access to the a la carte restaurants, and we selected Manohar (Indian Cuisine). This meal was absolutely delicious and considering I am typically a fussy eater, I thoroughly enjoyed this meal and it was nice to get away from the hustle and bustle of the all inclusive restaurant. Alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks were included, but could take a little while for them to make it (unless you give them a tip). What I really liked here is the fizzy drinks such as Cola, Fanta and Sprite were poured from big 2L bottles rather than a tap. We travelled to Hurghada last year and both got very ill, however this year in Sharm-El-Sheikh we were both completely fine. Atmosphere was generally nice, with our pool area being relatively quiet compared to the main pool where the majority of the entertainment was, which can be noisy depending on what you are used to. We both had a full body massage at the Senses spa which was very relaxing. Overall, myself and my partner loved our stay and would 100% recommend it to anyone looking to go. We have both said if we were to come back to Egypt we would definitely be coming here again.
