Sunrise Arabian Beach Resort

We have just returned from a week at Sunrise Arabian Beach Resort, and it was genuinely one of the best weeks of my life.

The resort itself is absolutely stunning. Everything is incredibly clean, modern and well maintained. Not once did the resort feel tacky or dated – it genuinely feels like a luxury paradise. The grounds are huge, but everything is laid out perfectly, so despite the hotel being busy during our stay, it never felt overcrowded. There were always sunbeds available and plenty of places to sit and relax.

The rooms were excellent, but what really stood out were the housekeeping staff. Every single cleaner greeted us with a smile and always seemed genuinely happy to see us. They quickly found out we were Liverpool fans and would shout “Mo Salah!” every time they saw us, which always made us laugh. They brought such positive energy every day and are a real credit to the hotel.

Food-wise, the à la carte restaurants were fantastic and definitely one of the highlights of the holiday. The buffet, however, was fairly average in comparison. There was plenty of choice, but I felt there was room for improvement in terms of quality.

The only real disappointment was the waiter service. Unfortunately, drinks were regularly forgotten, we were brought the wrong drinks on multiple occasions, and on one occasion we waited a long time for water only to eventually get it ourselves while a waiter sat on his phone nearby. I spoke to one of the managers about this, and I have to say he handled it brilliantly. He sincerely apologised, took the feedback seriously and personally arranged the rest of our à la carte bookings for the week. Although the service itself didn’t improve much afterwards, I genuinely appreciated how professionally the manager dealt with the situation.

The biggest reason we’ll remember this holiday, though, was the entertainment team.

A massive thank you to Marwan and Maryam. They went far beyond simply doing their jobs. Throughout the week they became genuine friends, regularly sitting with us outside of the organised activities just to chat and make sure we were having a great time. Maryam constantly checked that everything was okay and was always happy to help, even answering the phone for us whenever we needed assistance around the resort. Marwan quickly became one of the boys and was someone we looked forward to seeing every day. They are two incredible people who set the standard for customer service and hospitality.

The entertainment programme was also excellent. From water polo and beach volleyball to football, tennis and evening shows, there was always something happening and it was impossible to get bored.

Despite the issues with waiter service, I’ve still given the hotel five stars. Having spoken to staff, I understand many of them work extremely long stretches before getting time off, and I genuinely feel the positives of this resort far outweigh the negatives.

If you’re looking for a beautiful, modern resort with fantastic facilities, brilliant entertainment and staff who genuinely care about your experience, I would highly recommend Sunrise Arabian Beach Resort. We’ll definitely be back.

I had an amazing stay at SUNRISE Arabian Beach Resort. The hotel is beautiful, very clean, and has stunning views of the Red Sea. The staff were always friendly, welcoming, and professional, making us feel comfortable throughout our stay.

The food was varied and delicious, with plenty of options every day. The entertainment team did a fantastic job creating a fun atmosphere with great activities and evening shows. A special thanks to Marwan and Alex for their energy, kindness, and making our holiday even more enjoyable.

The pools, beach, and coral reef were excellent, and the overall service exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Sharm El Sheikh, and I will definitely come back again.

Just came back from an incredible 10 days at this resort. We were blown away by the service and the experience. We really appreciated the elevated experience of the posh club and would like to shout out and thank the amazing team there… Paulo and Hanna, Tarik and Wenty who went all out to meet any request we had. The fabulous Patrica who makes the most amazing jalapeño mocktails…. They were divine. Mohammad G who tended to our room daily with fabulous decorations and the attention to detail he took with that. Also for taking care of our laundry daily daily and returning it in little packages (we have returned home with only the laundry from our final day to pop in the machine) and it goes without saying that we give a massive shoutout to Eslam works tirelessly all day long around the pool both in the posh club and in our private swim up. This man is a treasure. It was such a joy just stepping out onto the terrace to our own pool with sun loungers and table and chairs to relax on. Any thing we needed or wanted was brought to us in minutes. We loved the cabanas round the pool and in the beach they were exceptional with a fridge full of cold drinks and bell to request any other food or drinks we required. The beach area is lovely it has a small area to paddle where the fish swim around you but the snorkeling of the jetty and the diving were incredible. The resort is quite large but is serviced all day with a bus you can just hop on and off anytime but another privilege of the posh club is they will also drive you around in the little golf buggy’s. We enjoyed numerous restaurants and cuisine and again all the staff were so great at looking after us. Thank you to Omar in the main buffet restaurant for always welcoming us and insisting on enjoying the delectable sweet s with coffee after our meal. So lovely.
