Located on the idyllic shores of Sharm El Sheikh, this stunning luxury beach front resort sits on its own 450 m stretch of beach, surrounded by a lush tropical landscape and beautiful pools. The airport and the centre of Naama Bay are only 8 km away. Furthermore, there are many great historic and religious attractions located nearby.
This resort and spa offers a unique coastline, embraced by the spectacular land and seascapes of Mother Nature. It is air-conditioned with a 24-hour reception, hotel safe, currency exchange facilities as well as a bar, dining room, conference and parking facilities. Room service is also available. There is also a children's playground.
The resort offers 559 luxurious rooms with modern décor. All room types have an en suite bathroom, mini fridge, in-room safe, hairdryer, complimentary daily local newspaper (on request), high speed Internet access, complimentary tea and coffee making facilities, satellite TV, a direct dial telephone with voicemail, individually adjustable air conditioning and heating.
The resort has a magnificent lagoon style swimming pool with a size equivalent to 3 Olympic pools, tennis court, kids' pool and kids club, state-of-the-art Bodyline Fitness Centre, Hammam, plunge pool, sauna, steam room and beach massage, and a games room with billiards and table tennis. The spa features 10 treatment rooms and relaxation areas, with treatments including holistic therapies such as the four-hand massage, traditional Thai massage, body wraps and hydrotherapy. Other signature treatments include sea scrub body polish, after-sun soother, the Cleopatra bath and Aroma deluxe facial. The spa also offers specially designed couples suites and cabanas to ensure guests have a memorable experience. The sandy beach is provided with sun loungers and parasols. Diving and snorkelling, windsurfing and other water sports, horse and camel riding, as well as desert safaris are also available nearby.

The hotel is located a 10‑minute drive from the airport, so it’s very convenient to get there. The hotel is very beautiful; there’s a huge pool and a slide on the territory. I liked the long beach with comfortable sun loungers and three piers. The rooms are quite well‑maintained, and the staff cleans them very well. The food is super tasty — especially the grilled dishes and the Egyptian dessert fitter. Special dishes change every day of the week; the tacos on Mexican day are very tasty. Fresh, warm croissants for breakfast hold a special place in my heart. The hotel offers entertainment to suit every taste: yoga, belly dancing, darts, volleyball, and parties. The girls who run the activities are very pleasant, especially Lera and Arina. But the main highlight of the hotel is its staff — everyone is very friendly and always ready to help. Special thanks to Ahmed from the reception, Medhad from the restaurant, and Yusuf from the spa.
A place that liberates the soul and mind
A beautiful setting and vast, impressive grounds, with plenty of greenery, palm trees, and exotic plants.
If you are completely worn out by "big city" life, the Grand Rotana is a wonderful place to rest and unwind. It offers stunning sea views, a clean beach with excellent service, bars, and beach sports.
The rooms aren't new, but they are clean and quite spacious. Everything needed for a spa-style getaway and relaxation is provided. There is a fairly powerful air conditioner and a good bathroom with strong water pressure—even capable of a massage-like effect.
The most memorable thing for me is the morning vibe—waking up to see the stunning sea and palm trees right in front of you; it’s simply incredible.
The hotel is completely quiet where it matters, yet the daily parties at the Sky Bar and the beach amphitheater hit exactly the right note.
OK hotel in stunning location
Good first impressions of this hotel, arriving after sunset and being driven through the beautifully illuminated palms to the main entrance. Usual check-in formalities over (by a very surly and unwelcoming agent) I found my room through the maze of buildings and levels (if you have mobility issues please do not consider this property). Room was quite modern and well appointed. Very clean, as it was kept by the housekeeping team all week. Great view over the pool nd Red Sea. Wifi very flaky and slow, but good 5G signal. Food was decent enough but never special (even in the specialist restaurants) although lacking in variety. Cleanliness standards in the kitchen have to be questioned on the evidence of the open breakfast omelette cooking station, which was frankly unacceptable. Some friendly members of staff, but on the whole they were surly and lacking in basic manners and respect for guests. They would constantly push in front of you, which I found to be unprofessional. Also, a definite “no no” for me was the fact that several groups of staff were eating in the main restaurant at the same time as guests. When has this been considered normal practice?! This may be considered a 5-star property in Egypt, but please don't expect it to be comparable with other countries. My main gripe was the near constant and intrusive pool music. Loud techno music is not what I want on my holiday. I want peace and quiet and can supply my own music if needed. Guests were 90% Russian and 5% Italian (I travelled in September) but I understand that from late October onwards this flips to be mainly European. All in all I enjoyed my stay, but will not return to this particular hotel, even though the location next to the ocean with private beach and diving area was stunning.

dear everyone, this summer we went to Grand rotana of sharem sheikh with my brothers and our mom, we are back home very pleased and happy, everything was great food, beach, pool, staf for me personally i will go back to visit this hotel again and i thank all the staff who was doing a great job thank you see you next time 🫶🏻✅.

One of the best hotels in Sharm El Sheikh. The service is excellent, and the staff are friendly and always available to help. It truly deserves five stars in every way, from the eight restaurants within the hotel to the rooms and service – everything is excellent. I highly recommend trying this hotel.
