Around the pool
Mountainside pool area is very clean and well maintained. Ebrahim one of the life guards looked after us so well. Checking in to see you were ok. His manners was amazing. The bar staff was also brilliant but unfortunately not sure of his name.

Amazing stay
Staff is really friendly and helpful specially Mai and chef Arafaa, and chefs are amazing.
Almost perfect, just train the staff to be a little more discreet and attentive please!
Great welcome, golf buggy to room, upgraded as Hilton Gold member to seaview suite. Everything is well tended and the hotel is extremely quiet considering it's next to the airport (never heard a single plane). What was frustrating was on my second day, I chose to relax with a late lunch in the Cala restaurant. I was the only one there but empty plates left on the table for 30 mins after I'd eaten, had to move as the flies descended onto my plate. There were 4 staff who engaged in loud conversation, making and sharing personal video calls at the bar, watching videos on their phone at high volume. I gave up having to wave each time I wanted something and despite there being no other guests in the restaurant, they turned the fans on full. I couldn't relax, it sounded like being in a wind tunnel. Service let down my experience, the staff need to be reminded who pays their wages and be more attentive. Cheaper hotels in and around Sharm manage to offer better service during this trip, what can't Hilton/Doubletree get their service to match or better this?

Golden Spa massages
Golden spa was amazing both myself and my wife had three massages and spa treatments each. Which were totally amazing, best we both ever had. Owner Muhammad was very welcoming and friendly. Muhammad and Komang were the people who gave our massages and they were amazing true professionals. Would totally recommend.
