Value
A Disappointing Five-Star Resort Experience
Great staff, but the resort needs improvement I would like to start by sincerely thanking the wonderful staff at Concorde Resort who made our holiday much more enjoyable through their kindness and professionalism.
A special thank you to Mohamed and Mahmoud from the main restaurant, A. El Rahman and Ezza from the beach bar, Fady Ayad, the Reception Manager, Mohamed, our room cleaner (rooms 411...), and last but certainly not least, Mostafa Yasen, the taxi manager.
Every one of them treated us with great kindness, professionalism, and respect. They genuinely made a difference to our stay and are a real credit to the resort.
Unfortunately, I cannot say the same about the resort itself. The property is quite old, and the passage of time is clearly visible in many areas — the gardens, furniture, rooms, and general appearance. In my opinion, it no longer meets the standard I would expect from a five-star resort and would benefit significantly from renovation and modernization.
Another disappointment was the beach and entertainment experience. There were a very large number of Russian-speaking guests staying across both resorts, and the beach at the front resort in particular felt extremely crowded at times. The entertainment also appeared to be largely focused on Russian-speaking guests, with much of the communication and music in Russian. I respect guests of all nationalities, but I would have preferred a more balanced experience that catered to everyone.
Overall, while the staff mentioned above were excellent, the resort itself did not meet my expectations for a five-star property. Unfortunately, I would not return to Concorde Resort.
That said, I genuinely love Egypt, have visited many times, and will definitely return in the future. I will simply choose a different resort next time.

Brilliant hotel in perfect location
Just came back from this hotel for the 2nd time and we loved it just like the first time we had an amazing time always made to feel welcome,, mustafa the life guard who was on the aqua gym pool was amazing always interacting with guests around the pool, we had my baby daughter with us he was always checking if we was ok or needed anything, so many other guests that we spoke to always spoke very highly of mustafa he is a credit to the hotel, rooms we're great and clean, restaurant team members everyone of them were so polite, we look forward to coming back to this hotel again in the future.
Amazing experience!
We had such a lovely stay at Concorde El Salam Hotel. All of the staff are incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful. Whenever we had any questions or issues, they were always so quick to help and resolve everything for us. We were also celebrating a birthday during our stay and the staff went out of their way to make it feel really special. They made us feel so welcomed and cared for, which made the celebration even more memorable. The restaurant staff were also amazing. They were always attentive, friendly and ready to help whenever we needed anything. I would especially like to mention Hussain, one of the waiters in the restaurant, who was absolutely amazing. He was always so friendly, attentive and welcoming and genuinely made us feel comfortable every time we came into the restaurant. He really went above and beyond to make sure we had a lovely experience. I would also like to mention Ramy from reception, who was incredibly helpful throughout our stay. Whenever we had any questions, we could always speak to him and he was always there to support us. He made us feel very comfortable, welcomed and looked after, especially as this was our first experience in Sharm El Sheikh. He was always happy to answer our questions and make sure we had everything we needed. Overall, we had a wonderful experience at Concorde El Salam Hotel. The staff genuinely made our holiday so much more enjoyable and special. I will definitely be coming back because of such a positive experience. A huge thank you to everyone for making us feel so welcome! ❤️
Excellent service
We had a wonderful time on our second visit to the Concorde. We really cant fault the hotel for cleanliness and service. A special mention to Wael in the restaurant who is not only attentive but incredibly good at his job which is no mean feat in a high pressure environment i hope he gets the credit he deserves. Other notable staff are Adham at the pool bar and Mohamed at Flames equally incredible at their respective jobs and our cleaner at our room.
Staff are amazing
We had a fantastic stay, with the friendly, helpful staff being the hotel’s biggest asset. They consistently went the extra mile and made us feel welcome.
The facilities were excellent, and the varied, fresh food offered plenty of choice. We especially enjoyed the beautiful beach bar and stunning beachfront, with direct access for walks and snorkelling from the shore. Entertainment is limited but we don’t normally enjoy hotel entertainment so that was neither here nor there for us. The piano bar was relaxing and served various cocktails, beers and soft drinks.
The hotel is next to Soho Square but away from the main Sharm area, so you will need to a taxi to get into the town centre, which you can easily get in the reception area.
We would like to give a special shout out to Wael in the main restaurant who was very welcoming and provided excellent service making sure all diners were catered for.
My only negative was I had a facial in the Beauty Salon, I would not recommend this as my eyebrows were shaped well but I ended up with scabs where the brows were plucked incorrectly, but I don’t think the beauty salon is part of the hotel and is run by a separate organisation.
Our room was comfortable and clean although some rooms and hotel areas are beginning to look dated and would benefit from some TLC. This did not detract from our overall experience.
Overall, the beautiful location, good facilities, food and wonderful staff made this a very enjoyable holiday, and we would happily return.
