The complex is incredible and opulent — super clean and immaculately maintained. Every corner is spotless and the grounds are clearly cared for to a very high standard. Staff work around the clock on a rota to keep the site impeccable and to meet guests’ needs with excellent service. Everyone we met was welcoming, friendly and genuinely helpful, always serving with a smile.

Tipping is appreciated but never expected.

Special mention to Ilker, the Director of Culinary: personable, knowledgeable and hands-on. And dare we say very dashing, he could be the next 007!! 🤭🤭 He and his head chefs in the à la carte restaurants consistently ensured our dietary requirements were met.

Food is abundant and varied at all times of day. There are three à la carte restaurants on site — Green Curry (Indian), Levante (Italian) and Trattoria (Egyptian) — worth booking to enjoy different cuisines. As vegetarians, we appreciated how the chefs went out of their way to accommodate our needs; staff even remembered our preferences.

Our room was spacious with daily cleaning and regular towel and bedding changes. Beach towels are provided and changed regularly. Showers were reliably hot, the in-room bidet was a nice surprise, and the hairdryer worked well.

The pools are very clean with separate areas for adults and families.

Entertainment changes daily, so there’s something for everyone. Above all there the atmosphere is serene. You will not hear blaring sounds all day and all night.

The Red Sea is wonderfully warm, though the beach is a little rocky — water shoes are recommended. Do attempt snorkeling - the coral and the sea life was beyond expectations and we are not experienced at snorkeling. You can buy the gear on site should you forget to pack.

Book excursions through the TUI reps and attend the welcome meeting for essential information. Our rep, Sammy, was full of useful advice and the trips are highly recommended. Please do take his advice on board.

There are no hidden costs and currency exchange at the resort was better than the UK — Monzo cards were widely accepted.

You will leave Magic Life having made friends and wanting to return. We highly recommend TUI Redsina Magic Life for excellent service, cleanliness and great value. Big thanks to the whole team — see you soon.

TUI MAGIC LIFE Redsina – Literally the Best Holiday Ever! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

What can I say? Literally the best holiday ever! ❤️

We have just returned from an incredible stay at TUI MAGIC LIFE Redsina, and honestly, I cannot understand some of the negative reviews. Stunning hotel, beautiful location, fantastic food and drink, immaculate grounds, but above everything else, THE MOST AMAZING STAFF I HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED IN ANY HOTEL.

I’ve stayed in plenty of hotels, but the people here genuinely stand out. Their friendliness, kindness, work ethic and willingness to go above and beyond are exceptional. They don’t just do their jobs; they make you feel welcome, looked after and special. They are the reason we will return.

Arrival & Room 🏨

We were welcomed with drinks on arrival, our cases were collected and we were taken to our room. As it was late, we were then shown to the coffee bar for food and drinks.

Our room in Block 18 was immaculate, with two large single beds, a separate room with two sofa beds and a lovely balcony overlooking the gardens. Our cleaner was fabulous. I’m so sorry I can’t remember his name, but he worked incredibly hard, kept everything spotless and was always checking that we had everything we needed. Thank you for looking after us so well!

A special mention to Omar in the coffee bar. What a lovely, genuine guy who couldn’t do enough for us. And, of course, his beautiful cat Romero! 🐱 If you’re a cat lover, you’ll adore him. If you have room in your suitcase, take some dry cat food for him!

The Staff – The Absolute Heart of This Hotel ❤️

I genuinely cannot praise the staff highly enough. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, we were met with smiles, kindness and exceptional service.

Abdullah, our lifeguard, was such a lovely man. Friendly, helpful and always happy to lend a hand. I want to address something here because I’ve seen comments suggesting lifeguards reserve sunbeds for tips. This simply wasn’t our experience. Abdullah offered to help me put my towel on my bed, and he did so out of kindness. They are not allowed to reserve beds for guests, and we actually witnessed Abdullah politely explaining this to a guest who persistently asked him to save sunbeds. He handled the situation professionally despite being put in an uncomfortable position.

Mohammed, Bisha (I think that was his name!) and Wellen at the pool bar deserve a huge thank you. These lads were brilliant! They came around with drinks, made whatever we fancied and did everything with a smile. My daily iced caramel coffee with brandy was absolutely gorgeous, and they helped make our mornings around the pool even better.

Abdullah, the third commis chef, deserves recognition too. He made me the most amazing poached eggs every morning and was always cheerful, smiling and happy to help. It’s those little personal touches that make such a difference.

The Entertainment Team – Simply Incredible! 🎤💃

Where do I even begin? This team deserves recognition in capital letters!

Slim, the assistant entertainment manager, is absolutely brilliant. Warm, welcoming, approachable and fantastic at his job. He clearly puts so much into his team, and it shows.

Kane, the dance captain, is one of the nicest people you could meet. Full of energy, infectious enthusiasm and such a beautiful soul inside and out.

Then we have the fabulous Nina, Lucy, Josie, Coney, Bianca, Savannah and Leah, along with Paolo, the DJ, who was simply adorable.

I really hope I’ve remembered everyone because every single member of this team helped make our holiday special. Their energy, enthusiasm, friendliness and ability to get people involved and smiling are second to none.

They work so hard to entertain guests, create an atmosphere and make sure everyone has a good time. They bring so much personality and happiness to the hotel, and it would not be the same without them.

Slim, you have an exceptional team. Every single one of you should be incredibly proud of yourselves. You didn’t just entertain us; you helped create memories we’ll be talking about for years.

Management 👏

We did experience a situation during our stay that I’m not going to go into publicly, but I do want to recognise how well it was handled.

Ekran, the general manager, dealt with a difficult situation exceptionally well. His professionalism, understanding and the way he handled matters were excellent. I couldn’t fault the service he provided.

It’s important to recognise management when they get things right, and in our experience, he absolutely did.

Food & Drink 🍽️

We couldn’t fault the food anywhere. There was plenty of choice, and although some dishes may look similar, there was a good variety. None of us experienced any stomach problems.

Green Curry was a real highlight. We ate there at lunchtime and returned in the evening, when the Indian food completely blew us away. The chicken tikka masala was one of the best we’ve ever tasted, and the battered ice cream was possibly the best dessert I’ve ever had!

We were so impressed that we actually called the chef over to ask how he’d made it.

The Italian was also excellent, as were the beach bar and all the other bars.

Unfortunately, we witnessed guests finish their entire meals before complaining and subsequently posting a negative review. You could see how upset the staff were, and it was awful to witness. Constructive criticism is one thing, but please remember there are real people behind the service who work incredibly hard to make your holiday enjoyable.

Sunbeds & Pool ☀️

There were plenty of sunbeds available during our stay. Towards the end, when the hotel became busier, we did notice towels being placed on beds early in the morning by guests who didn’t return until much later. This is frustrating, but there were still plenty of beds around the pool.

The lifeguards do not reserve beds for guests, and I think it’s unfair when they get blamed for something they aren’t doing.

The only slight disappointment was that the beautiful swim-up bar wasn’t in use, although we knew this before travelling.

Beach & Snorkelling 🐠

The beach and sea are beautiful, and everything is kept spotlessly clean. Snorkelling off the jetty was absolutely incredible. The fish were out of this world, and it’s an experience I would highly recommend.

Please be careful in the shallow water, though. It can be extremely slippery. I cut my leg after falling, and my friend also fell and hurt her back. Decent swim shoes are essential, and access may be difficult for anyone with mobility issues.

Personally, I’m also not a fan of camel rides on the beach, particularly in that heat, but that’s my own opinion.

Getting Out & About 🚕

We felt safe going out and about in Sharm. We used Ricky Ricks for taxis, and the hotel’s security checks on vehicles and drivers were reassuring. The Old Market is well worth a visit, and George Clooney’s across the road was handy for picking up essentials.

Final Verdict ❤️

The hotel is beautiful, the food is fantastic, the grounds are immaculate and the location is wonderful.

But the staff are what make TUI MAGIC LIFE Redsina truly exceptional.

Every single person we encountered, from the cleaners and chefs to the bar staff, lifeguards, entertainment team and management, played a part in making this the best holiday we’ve ever had.

They work incredibly hard, often long hours, and still manage to smile, laugh and make guests feel special. They don’t expect tips, but they certainly deserve every penny they’re given. Please be kind to them, appreciate them and recognise the effort they put into making your holiday memorable.

To Omar, Abdullah, Mohammed, Bisha, Wellen, Slim, Kane, Nina, Lucy, Josie, Coney, Bianca, Savannah, Leah, Paolo, Ekran and all the other wonderful staff whose names I haven’t managed to remember — THANK YOU! ❤️

For those who seem to find something to moan about wherever they go, I’m genuinely pleased your lives are so perfect! 😂 Perhaps everybody should holiday at your house instead!

As for us, we’ve had an incredible holiday, made wonderful memories and met some genuinely lovely people.
