Rixos Premium Seagate was absolutely phenomenal! From the Receptionist Kadry, to the Turquoise restaurant supervisor Reda ,the waiters the lobby bar personnel, the housekeepers, the pool guards, the entertainment and activities team as well as all the al-a-cart restaurants staff members-they all made our stay unforgettable. We will definitely highly recommend this hotel and we cannot wait to come back as soon as we can.
Excellent service at Fountain Pool. We were well looked after by our bar man Mohammed refreshing our drinks bucket throughout the day. Thank you
Great facilities, good food and plenty to do for adults and children. Most importantly the staff are very helpful and friendly which makes for a great atmosphere.
The good. Resort is very big and impressive. weather amazing. Snorkelling from the pier when red flag is not out is fantastic. Staff are good, well 95% of them are. Food availability in buffet restaurants is a bog choice. Good pools and water park. The a la carte restaurants are fantastic, especially salt and the Brazillian bbq. The bad. The main multi pool was regularly closed by lifeguards for around 6 hours for reasons we didn't know. The guest relations guy (allegedley) helped us book 3 a la carte restaurants but when we arrived at the restaurants they had not been booked by him at all. If they say it's booked make sure they write it down for you and sign it. Don't fall for I can't put it on the system yet because it won't get done and will spoil your evening meal. The X lounge show bar on the beach front repeatedly served warm bottles of Sakara beer. 36+ degrees and warm beer on the seafront. I complained for the fourth time and the waiter took it away, came back 3 minutes later and said they have put it in some ice for 2 minutes for you here you are and walked away. How on earth can you make a beer cold standing it in some ice for 2 minutes. I left it and as a result of complaining, they didn't come back to our family table again during the whole 2 and a half hours we sat watching a show. I counted 9 full bottles nearby left on tables by people due to being warm. A few of the big rides in the water park are never open, but most are good fun especially for the little kids. Bitten to death by mosquitos so be warned, not the resorts fault though. When we arrived fridges all over the resort and by pools we'refull with water, and cans of fanta, sprite and coke, but 3 days in they were empty so clearly a supply issue with stock. If you don't want ypur children drinking 12 teaspoons of sugar in every can of pop all day, then you will struggle as the only sugar free drink other than water is coke zero, full of caffeine. I have to have sugar free as I'm diabetic, so the word premium needs removing from their name. Couldn't have a vodka and orange, or brandy & lemonade or any drink other than with coke zero for the whole holiday. I had to leave the resort and buy my own from the shops nearby. Not my idea of premium. Finally, every one of us got the Sharm el shuffles ranging from dashing to the loo for 24 hours, right up to bad vomiting and the runs meaning they could not even leave the room. I saw one girl around 10 years old in the Turquoise buffet restaurant at the desert stand lick her finger, stick it in 3 different cakes to taste them then leave them to choose something else. One guy clean his ears out with his fingers then go select food using several spoons at the serve station, so no wonder people are poorly. In the main it's a good resort from most staff working really hard to all they can to help you, but lots of things let it down such as drinks, the a la carte booking system which is diabolical and the people who are prioritised and rude because they think they are more entitled so will not queue or wait their turn and staff actually allow it. Unfortunately now I have been I won't return anytime soon if ever now I've experienced it. It genuinly isn't upto the standard of other five stars for the money you pay. Some may not have had any issues and disagree with me, but this is my honest feedback from my family stay.
Hotel is really nice, great, very helpful and friendly. We really enjoyed our stay. I must talk about one restaurant inter hotel: Lalezar, Turkish Ottoman restaurant. By far the the best restaurant, I would like to thank you to the Chief of the restaurant, Cahit Taşçı şef. We have tasted different dishes, you cannot find easily such tasty, high quality dishes in Turkey. I would know, I’m Turkish. I cannot really explain enough how good food is. If you select to stay here, do not forget to book a table in Lalezar restaurant. You would really miss one of the best thing you can experience.
