During checkout, Be careful what you pay by credit card. I was charged $150 instead $80 mistakenly! I had money back anyway. Find out prices of extra services before you go. Generally hotel is good and I had good time.

VIP Stay, but Service Quality Far Below Expectations
We stayed at the hotel from October 11 to 15, 2026, as VIP guests, based on the information and expectations communicated to us prior to our arrival.
First of all, I would like to clarify that we had no issues with the initial welcome or room allocation. We received the room we had paid for. However, the overall service quality was unfortunately far below what one would expect from a hotel of this category and price level.
Throughout our stay, we were in contact with a guest relations representative named Minna, who did her best to accommodate some of our requests. However, one particular incident clearly demonstrated the hotel’s lack of flexibility, trust in its guests, and ability to resolve even minor issues.
I urgently needed medication from the city center. With Minna’s knowledge and approval, we arranged for the medication to be delivered. However, when a payment of just $40 was required, reception informed me that they could not make the payment on my behalf and that I had to come personally to settle it.
Despite repeatedly explaining, “Please pay the $40, and I will reimburse you immediately when I arrive,” absolutely no solution was offered.
Considering the significant amount we had paid for our stay, it was extremely disappointing to discover that a hotel promoting VIP hospitality could not extend even $40 worth of trust to its guests.
As a result, I had to interrupt my meal, take three different buggies (golf carts), return to my room to collect cash, and then make my way to reception. Nearly an hour of my holiday was wasted dealing with something that could have been resolved in seconds.
The issue was never about the $40. It was about trust, hospitality, professionalism, and the ability to provide practical solutions.
Following this incident, I repeatedly requested, both verbally and in writing, to speak with a manager or someone in a position of authority. Unfortunately, throughout our four-day stay, not a single manager contacted us or made any effort to address the situation. Only Minna offered an apology.
Frankly, I never felt the presence of a general manager, duty manager, or any effective management structure responsible for handling guest concerns.
The general attitude of the service staff was also disappointing. At times, employees appeared to be casually wandering around the property rather than delivering attentive and professional service. There was a noticeable lack of coordination, attention to detail, and genuine guest care.
Additionally, whenever we turned on the air conditioning in our room, there was a noticeable damp and musty smell, which negatively affected our comfort.
To be fair, there were also some positive aspects:
- The food and kitchen were genuinely excellent. We were very satisfied with the quality of the meals.
- The hotel’s location and surroundings are absolutely beautiful.
- The initial welcome and room allocation were handled without any problems.
In conclusion:
Despite its beautiful location and excellent cuisine, the hotel seriously needs to improve its service standards, staff coordination, and, most importantly, its management’s approach to resolving guest issues.
VIP hospitality is not defined by room categories, expensive rates, or marketing promises. It is defined by how guests are treated when they need assistance and how effectively their concerns are addressed.
Unfortunately, this was precisely where our experience fell short.
At this price level, I expected a significantly higher standard of professionalism, hospitality, and management.
A beautiful property alone does not make a luxury hotel. The quality of service and the attitude toward guests are what truly define the experience.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Amazing place ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
We honestly cannot recommend Rixos Premium Seagate enough! From start to finish, our holiday was incredible, and what really makes this hotel so special is the amazing staff.
Unfortunately, during our stay we had to use the onsite doctor for our little girl, and I cannot praise him enough. He was absolutely fantastic, so caring, thorough and reassuring. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and we felt completely looked after.
A HUGE special mention must go to Abdo Elgafar, one of the lifeguards, who went above and beyond for us every single day. He was absolutely amazing, always so friendly, attentive and fantastic with the children. He genuinely made such a difference to our holiday, and people like him are a real credit to the hotel. The entire lifeguard team were brilliant, but Abdo deserves that extra recognition!
The cleaners also deserve so much praise. They worked incredibly hard and went above and beyond all day, every single day. Their attention to detail and kindness certainly didn’t go unnoticed.
The food was absolutely delicious, with so much choice and something for everyone. The entire resort is beautiful, spotless and maintained to such a high standard.
It’s very rare to visit somewhere where every single member of staff makes such an effort to ensure you have the best possible experience, but Rixos really does deliver.
We have made the most wonderful family memories and cannot thank everyone enough for making our holiday so special.
If you’re considering booking Rixos Premium Seagate, DO IT! You will not be disappointed. We cannot recommend this hotel highly enough and would return in a heartbeat!
Excellent hotel & brilliant service from staff
We visited Sharm el Sheikh and Rixos Seagate for the first time as a family and the hotel was excellent.
We stayed in the main hotel and spent most of our time around the Lagoon pool area and bar, the pool was perfect for children of all ages and the pool bar staff were amazing. Samuel, Ahmed and Mohamed made our trip very special. The life guards were very kind too and kept the pool area very clean, thank you to Kerolos for your help.
We also visited the Anjana Spa for massages with KK and Fon, they were both so polite and gave brilliant massages while making us so comfortable.
If it weren’t for the people mentioned above our first trip to Egypt would not have been as special as it was.
My last thank you is to Bebo the photographer for not only taking some beautiful photos of us, but for also being a good friend to my baby who was excited to see him everyday.

An Unforgettable Holiday – World-Class Service, Incredible Food & Gluten-Free Heaven!
We have just returned from an absolutely amazing holiday at Rixos Premium Seagate, and we really cannot fault this resort in any way. What made it so special was a combination of the incredible people, delicious food, top-tier service, fantastic facilities, and beautiful location. Staff were never far away, always ready to help, and consistently provided an excellent level of service with a smile. As someone with coeliac disease, I was initially a bit apprehensive, but I was completely astounded by how well my dietary needs were catered for. I was given a dedicated gluten-free card to show the chefs in the restaurants, which gave me so much confidence every time I dined. The food was not only the most amazing quality, but it was also available in absolute abundance! Before traveling, I had read a few reviews claiming that premium drinks weren't provided. We certainly did not find this to be the case—my partner drinks Jameson whiskey and was served exactly that throughout our stay without any issue. Also, a quick top tip: if anyone experiences difficulties booking an à la carte restaurant, just pop down to reception. The staff were more than happy to help us sort our bookings out! The resort is also fantastic for families. The Rixy Kids Club was excellent—our children loved all the activities, and once again, the team there was packed with helpful, friendly staff who made the kids feel so welcome. A special mention must also go to our lovely housekeeping team. Our housekeeper always checked in with us whenever we passed by in the corridor, making sure we had everything we needed and asking if we required any extra supplies for our room. Rixos Premium Seagate truly delivered an incredible holiday for our family. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a stress-free, luxurious getaway!
