- Parrotel Beach Resort

The resort is located on the southern tip of Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, on the Red Sea coast. Guests can explore this magnificent place, well known with its beautiful sandy beaches. The beach hotel is set on 30 acres of landscaped gardens with waterfalls, rivers and 22 individually designed bridges. All tourist venues are easily accessible. The bus service to and from the airport is free of charge for all guests and is available on request. This air-conditioned hotel has a total of 329 rooms and suites. It offers a broad range of facilities including entertainment spots, conference facilities and a restaurant. Younger guests are offered a kids club and a playground. Parking is also available. The rooms and suites are decorated in Arabic, tropical and maritime themes. Each room is fully-equipped as standard including a satellite TV, Internet access and a balcony or terrace.
A nice hotel, maybe 4 star not 5 star, but a good hotel. 15 minutes drive from the airport.
Stayed in a renovated room, block 2xxx, the rooms are clean, reasonably appointed, with flat screen tv, fridge, good air conditioning, sofa, safe and outside seating. Shower pressure not great but just about good enough.
The hotel covers a few acres, with a fair walk down to the beach, up hill on the return. If you like the beach and a jump in the sea straight off your sun bed you’ll be disappointed. The beach shelves on to a reef, so option for a swim is to walk the length of the hotel pier, where there is good snorkelling.
There are two pools, one small one, half way to the beach, plus the main pool. The main pool is large, with plenty of sun loungers. No swim up bar but a pool bar serving drinks and a food / ice cream bar nearby. The area is kept very clean and well maintained. Towels are supplied free of charge.
The animation team are very nice, they keep it lively, aquarobics, Zumba, games and a weekly foam party, but with unfortunately loud distorted music, overpowering my ear pods at times. Entertainment in the evening on a large stage by the pool bar, weak alcohol and beer served. If you want premium drinks then this is chargeable.
The main restaurant is a buffet style with a reasonable good selection and variety of hot food, salads and desserts. With a bbq most evenings. There are a couple of special restaurants on site but we didn’t feel the need to use them.
All the staff are very friendly and very helpful, nothing appears too much trouble. If you’re respectful and remember to say thank you then you will not be disappointed with the service you receive. Tips are greatly appreciated for good service as normal in Egypt.
A special mention to Mohammed Kamel and Hawash in the restaurant, a great couple of guys. Reda from reception, very responsive and helped organise our rooms and Mahmoud for looking after us in the main bar during the World Cup football.
Outside the hotel are a few shops but just tourist stuff.
Overall a typical Egyptian holiday hotel you should have a great holiday here.
Amazing Hotel, every member off staff made our holiday special. They couldn't do enough for you and made your holiday experience brilliant. They all went the extra mile to make sure you had everything you need. Bent over backwards to make you happy and enjoy your holiday. The grounds where lush and amazing and well maintained. Everywhere spotless clean and maintained. The beach front was lovelly ans lots of entertaininment going on. Lovelly BBQ nights and good tasting quality buffet food.. we had a amazing time at our second home Sharm el Sheikh that we've booked to come straight back im afew months. Sayied the manager was the most down to earth best caring Hotel manager we've ever encountered anywhere in the world, he does everything with a smile to make your holiday the best and looks after everyone with a big passion. Highly recommend this hotel for everyone a 10/10 stay. See you again Parrotel Beach and all you amazing caring staff. Was great value for money and really close to the airport and shops.
The hotel is 10 mins away from the airport in a shuttle bus which is amazing if you're on a late flight! When we arrived we were taken into the VIP lounge to check in which is English guests only. Our rooms were lovely, balcony over looking the lagoon & a swimming pool. The cleaner did a great job every day & made little animals out of towels & re stocked our water bottles! The water park is amazing! There's a shuttle bus that takes you to the beach where the tropical fish literally swim around your feet, bus takes 5 mins! The life guards are lovely and love kids, they made such an effort with my 3 and gave us pool floaties to play with everyday, Mohamed at the side pool by the restaurant is amazing! The food was absolutely unreal, grilled chicken, salmon, lamb, crab! Absolutely sensational! Walk PAST THE MAIN RESTAURANT, keep walking round, you'll find the English only restaurant!! If you get a chance go to the spa for a massage, absolutely unreal! We did a boat trip to white island and snorkeling around the coral reefs, genuinely one of the most beautiful places on earth but a really long day! 8am - 6pm.. its also absolutely BOILING in july, factor 50 is a must! Also there's only little plastic cups for the drinks, they sell big ones for cheap, buy one!
I have been to this Hotel as a returning customer, because I love the location and design of this Hotel but, what draws me back is the staff. All reception staff, Mohammed and the crew. Room cleaners and their amazing towel designs, pool staff always ready to walk me to the lounger and restaurant staff to make sure I am not in need of a refill. Mohamed and Abu Adam hands down were the epitome of excellence in the restaurant.
The best hotel for a honeymoon or a vacation, thanks to the friendly staff and excellent service—truly one of the best experiences you could have.
