This resort is located in Nabq Bay, a protected area affording breathtaking views out over Tiran Island and the Red Sea. The hotel lies just a short distance from the coral reef within the protected Nabq Bay marine park, which is one of the best diving and snorkelling sites in the world. It is just 5 km to Sharm el-Sheikh international airport and famous Neama Bay is some 20 km away. The hotel is set in an idyllic, unspoiled spot that is in perfect harmony with the desert landscape. Sharm el-Sheikh in Egypt is a land of scenic beauty where landscapes of deserts and mountains compete with the kaleidoscope of the colours of the sea and coral reefs. Sharm el-Sheikh is situated at the southern tip of the Sinai Peninsula and is a wonderful summertime and also winter resort thanks to its wonderfully mild year-round climate.

The hotel comprises 350 rooms and offers guests fabulous views out over the Red Sea. The Sinai Mountains may be viewed from the back of the hotel and provide dramatic and unique views at sunset. Amongst the facilities count a foyer with a 24-hour reception desk, a safe, a currency exchange desk, a hairdressing salon, a bar, a restaurant and conference facilities. Moreover, it is possible to gain access to the Internet and there are room and laundry services to take advantage of.

All of the tastefully decorated rooms feature a full en suite bathroom with a hairdryer, a balcony, a direct dial telephone, satellite TV, a small fridge, a hire safe, a fire alarm system, a 220 V A/C electricity supply and individually controllable air conditioning and heating. It is possible to book a room affording views out over the sea, pool or gardens.

Amongst the leisure offerings count an outdoor pool, a poolside snack bar, sun loungers and parasols, a sauna and an in-house gym. Furthermore, guests may enjoy a relaxing massage or play tennis, table tennis, volleyball or billiards. It is alternatively possible to try out diving.

Having just returned from here I will do a honest review (my opinions may differ from others)

  • Reception

Arrived late at night check in was very easy and other experience with reception staff was superb no issues at all and all staff willing to help .Room The rooms are dated however they are large and have everything you need. Tea/ coffee kettle hairdryer. They are cleaned daily and towels changed daily. You don’t spend your holiday in your room so they are perfectly adequate. .Room cleaners We were lucky enough to have Mustapha and I found that if I left a dollar ( which I folded into art ) he left some impressive towel art . Again no real effect on your holiday but nice to see when you walk into the room. The bathroom was large and always had hot water and complementary toiletries and hairdryer but in my opinion could have done with a deep clean. The beds were comfortable but the bedding is not Egyptian Cotton 😂😂. There is a fridge and the water /coffee/ tea/ sugar were replaced daily . There is no milk but you can get that from Dining Room . . Dining You will not go hungry at this hotel i found the food to be excellent. The choice the quality and the quantity are superb. The Al a Carte restaurants are also worth a visit .We tried them all and they all were very good . . Pool It is one large pool and it also has a depth of 6ft which was lovely. I did have an issue around the pool and again it’s my personal opinion.There was no escape from the extremely loud music . I know that when activities are on ( aqua fit) the music 🎶 is loud but this music was horrendous loud . The Animation team think the louder the better, turning it up then changing song half way through it !did spoil our time around the pool on some days. No worries over sunbeds always available. Pool towels provided. .The Beach WOW WOW WOW This is a superb special place ( and quiet) to escape the pool. The snorkelling 🤿 was some of the best I’ve ever experienced. Even if your not a swimmer the beach allows access to a beautiful underwater world so take your snorkel and sea shoes ( as you need them for beach to enter water) and enjoy this beautiful place . . Staff The jewel in the crown of this hotel are the staff , from Chefs to cleaners Waiters to lifeguards each and every member of this team are excellent and provide a superb service A special mention to Customer Relations VALARIA who went above and beyond to make our holiday special. Any problems or help you need go see this lovely lady . Also a mention for Eslam and Mohamed the lifeguards who also made sure you have everything you need. The waiters are all superb to many to mention. The staff definitely make Charmillion what it is. . Drinks This was a bit of a let down for me as I drink 🍷 Rose wine and Prosecco. Wine is available in dining areas but not at beach bars even at lunch time. Rose only available in a couple of À la Carte. If you drink Vodka , Gin, Rum, Beer you’ll be fine . Animation Team I can not make any comments of evening shows as in my time there we didn’t attend any , the Annimation team that were around the pool were lively and engaging but sometimes over the top ( again my opinion maybe in getting on a bit 🤪) . The Gardens Beautiful kept the Gardners work really hard to keep these looking so good. When they water them on an evening you will find there is a smell from the water but it only lasts as long as they are 💦 . . Mosquito 🦟 these little biters are a pest we got eaten alive one night so I went to VALARIA ( customer relations) Who arranged for our room to be sprayed. I did take OFF body spray with me you definitely need to take plenty of repellent with you. I also went to on site shop and bought Off and Raid room spray which cost £9.11 and that was cheaper than home (Amazon) so don’t worry if you need more. So if you’ve read all this review I hope it’s told you what you need to know I would recommend Charmillion Club Resort and I definitely will return.

Very good hotel would return

We have really enjoyed our stay. The hotel has been very accommodating, when we are arrived they gave us a late dinner as our flight got in past midnight. We went to our room and realised the air conditioning wasn’t working properly. We told the reception and they were very helpful and moved our stuff to an upgraded sea view room. We used the spa and received massages on the first and last day which was a great start and end to the holiday with great masseuses.

The hotel is close to all the main attractions in Sharm El Sheikh and we used Sun International for excursions outside of the hotel. They met us in the hotel lobby and organised transfer with the hotel so we could relax.

The one thing I would say could be improved would be the food, we ate at the buffet everyday because bookings for the al la carte restaurants are for stays over 7 days so we were not able to book those without hassle.

The animation team were great and overall the hotel has a very lively feel to it with plenty for family and couples to do. There are lots of pools and a beach which are all kept very clean.

We were very happy with our overall experience and the professionalism of the staff for the amount that we paid.

Our Third Visit… and Somehow It Keeps Getting Better! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We are a family of five – two adults and three children – and we have just returned from our third stay at Charmillion Club Resort. We honestly didn’t think it could get any better after our previous visits, but once again this incredible resort exceeded every expectation.

From the moment we arrived until the moment we reluctantly left, we were treated like royalty. Every single member of staff made us feel genuinely valued and special every single day. Nothing is ever too much trouble, and the warmth, kindness and professionalism shown by everyone is what keeps bringing us back year after year. Returning here truly feels like coming home.

Our room was cleaned to perfection every day, with lovely little personal touches that always made us smile. The housekeeping team take enormous pride in their work, and the views from the rooms are absolutely breathtaking. Waking up every morning to those stunning views was the perfect start to each day.

Now… where do I even begin with the food? Wow! We are honestly speechless.

The main buffet restaurant deserves recognition of the highest standard. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are all outstanding. This is not your typical hotel buffet – the chefs prepare dishes that are worthy of an à la carte restaurant. The quality, presentation and flavour of every meal were exceptional.

What impressed us just as much was the incredible service. The staff work tirelessly with smiles on their faces, paying attention to every little detail. They somehow remember your favourite drinks, your preferences and always make you feel so welcome. The restaurant managers are fantastic, and our children absolutely loved all the attention and kindness they received throughout our stay.

We are generally very fussy eaters and difficult to please when it comes to food, but here there was an incredible variety every day and every meal was delicious. We only visited two of the à la carte restaurants, simply because we genuinely loved the buffet so much! 😂

The Italian restaurant was exceptional. The seafood bisque was rich, flavourful and beautifully presented, while the fish risotto was perfectly cooked, wonderfully creamy and absolutely delicious. Every dish was excellent, but those two really stood out. A special thank you to Ahmed, the restaurant manager, whose attentiveness and leadership were obvious throughout the evening. It was wonderful to watch how well he works alongside his team.

We also enjoyed the Fish Restaurant, which was equally impressive. Fresh, beautifully cooked food and faultless service from start to finish.

Although we’re not big alcohol drinkers, we sampled several cocktails and wines during our stay, and they were all excellent. The coffee also deserves a mention! We heard a few people complaining about it during our stay, and honestly… we couldn’t understand why! 😅😂 One of us drinks double espressos while the other enjoys lattes and cappuccinos, and every single one was delicious.

The pool and beach teams are absolutely fantastic. The bar staff are always friendly, hardworking and happy to help, while the lifeguards deserve special praise. They didn’t just supervise the pools—they took the time to encourage and help our children improve their swimming every day. Their professionalism, attentiveness and genuine care were incredibly reassuring and very much appreciated.

Clean beach and pool towels were available every day, and there were always plenty of comfortable sun loungers available, both around the pools and on the beach, regardless of the time of day.

The snorkelling area is absolutely amazing. A huge thank you to Mr Alim Aly and his entire team, who do an incredible job ensuring everyone’s safety while making sure guests have a fantastic experience in the beautiful Red Sea. The location is perfect for snorkelling with beautiful corals and beautiful colourful fish.

What makes Charmillion Club Resort so special isn’t just the facilities or the food—it’s the people. They consistently go above and beyond to make every guest feel welcome, cared for and appreciated. After three visits, we can honestly say we trust this resort completely in every aspect. It’s one of the very few places where we can truly relax, knowing that everything is taken care of.

Thank you to every single member of the Charmillion Club Resort family for giving us another unforgettable holiday. We left with wonderful memories, happy children and already counting down the days until we return.

We would also like to give a very special thank you to Mohamed Emed and Mr Waleed at the main buffet restaurant. Both of them went above and beyond every single day to make us feel incredibly special. Their genuine kindness, warm smiles, attention to every detail, and the way they welcomed our family each day made every meal even more enjoyable. It is people like them who transform a wonderful holiday into an unforgettable one.

We would also like to express our sincere gratitude to Mr Ahmed at Reception. Nothing was ever too much trouble for him, and he was always happy to help with any request or wish we had. His professionalism, friendliness and willingness to ensure everything was perfect throughout our stay were truly appreciated. Knowing he was always there to help gave us complete peace of mind.

We cannot wait for our fourth visit.

Worst Experience in 20 years of traveling

After many years of traveling and having stayed in a lot of All Inclusive hotels, I can say without any doubt that this was the WORST experience I have ever had. The hotel presents itself as “All Inclusive,” but we quickly discovered that coffees, fresh juices, popcorn, ice cream, and several other drinks are not included, with only machine drinks being available. For a hotel that promotes itself this way, this policy is simply ridiculous and misleading. The food is, without exaggeration, of very poor quality. There were days when there were practically no options to eat, and the few available were repetitive and unappealing. Not even the desserts can save the experience. Anyone coming from Europe will certainly be quite surprised by the level of the food offering. The rooms are extremely outdated, dark, and unwelcoming. At times, it was necessary to use the phone flashlight just to see better inside the room. The air conditioning, besides being inefficient, makes a constant noise that makes it difficult to rest. To make matters worse, the hotel’s main fountain was under construction throughout our entire stay. There was constant noise from the work and dust in the air, making it impossible to properly relax or enjoy the surroundings. The hotel certainly did not look as beautiful as it does in the promotional photos. The snack bar also leaves a lot to be desired. The selection is extremely poor, with very limited and rationed options, constantly giving the impression that everything is being counted down to the last detail. Unfortunately, the staff also does not help improve the experience. In most situations, they were not very friendly or helpful, which makes an even bigger difference when the rest of the service is already far below expectations. Finally, there is practically no evening entertainment. There are no shows, entertainment, or activities like those normally found in other hotel chains, making the nights monotonous and lacking any atmosphere. In short, this hotel is very far from what it promises and well below the minimum standards expected from a true All Inclusive resort. It was a deeply disappointing experience and, without a doubt, a place I will never return to or recommend.
