The hotel has direct access to the beach at Nabq Bay which is located roughly 50 m away. El Khan Market is around 100 m away and the town centre of Naama Bay can be reached in around 15 minutes by car. The hotel is situated 9 km from Sharm el-Sheikh International Airport. Built in 2007, this air-conditioned complex offers 286 deluxe rooms and 12 Executive Suites. The guestrooms are tastefully furnished in a resort style, creating a relaxed and comfortable environment. All standard rooms have balconies or terraces and most rooms enjoy a sea view. Guests can benefit from a variety of facilities, including a car park, Internet access and a children's playground. The hotel also offers a range of recreational facilities, SPA treatments and organized activity programmes.

Very very bad hotel
We were a large family and booked five rooms at Amwaj Oyoun Resort Sharm El Sheikh, but unfortunately, the experience was very bad.
The worst part was the reception. The staff are extremely slow, causing long delays during check-in. The hotel has no elevators at all, only stairs, which makes moving around very difficult, especially for families with strollers or elderly guests.
We requested ground floor rooms, but our request was rejected due to unavailability. We were assigned to a building far away from the restaurant and aqua park. When we asked to move closer, we had to pay an extra fee. Despite that, the process took around 4 hours, during which we had no rooms or even our luggage, as we had already checked out from the old rooms.
The food is not terrible, but the restaurant is overcrowded, service is slow, and there is a noticeable shortage of basic utensils like spoons.
The rooms are outdated and worn out, far below acceptable standards. Also, the number of sunbeds, umbrellas, and chairs is insufficient compared to the number of guests, to the point where you need to reserve them in advance, especially at the aqua park.
In terms of safety, my eldest daughter got a cut on her foot due to broken tiles around the swimming pools, which is very dangerous and reflects poor maintenance. Additionally, the bathrooms near the pools and the beach are not clean, and there seems to be a clear shortage of housekeeping staff in the hotel.
There is no easily accessible drinking water available, and there are no drinks or snacks provided during the aqua park operating hours, which is completely unacceptable, especially in hot weather.
Overall, the hotel is very poor and does not even deserve a one-star rating.
Great time at Amwaj
A clean and Friendly hotel with full facilities. Air con worked fine, food was good in the evening. All Inclusive drinks and pool bar food was very nice. The Hotel could do with a make over as many tiles missing from the Main Pool which spoils the venue. Entertainment Team worked very hard to cater for the multi national clientele. Private beach was good. Just the sea goes out mid morning so don't go here if you want the Red Sea experience. Reception staff and Guest services were super polite. All in all a nice place to stay with the Aqua Park next door.
Very bad hotel
WORST HOTEL EXPERIENCE EVER. Stay away!

I don’t even know where to start. This hotel is a complete nightmare, but the animation team is the absolute bottom of hell.
The chief animation is the most unprofessional person I have ever met in my life. He is screaming staff in front of us,while guests are trying to relax! He curses and yells bad words at his own team like they are his slaves. It’s so embarrassing and aggressive to watch. We came here for vacation, not for a street fight.
And the disgusting part? He has his own girlfriend in the team, but still, he openly wants to hit on all the girls around .He stares, follows, and makes creepy compliments. It’s not “fun animation”, it’s HARASSMENT. We felt so uncomfortable that we stopped going near animation
But the cherry on top? One evening he invited us (guests!) to his manager’s home for a party. What?! Who does that? This is a 5-star hotel, not a hostel. It felt so shady and unsafe. We obviously refused, but the pressure was awful.
Other problems:
· Food is terrible – cold and repeats every day. · Rooms are dirty, AC doesn’t work. · No one cleans properly.
Bottom line: Dirty hotel, rotten management, and an animation chief who acts like a creepy dictator. I complained to reception – they did NOTHING. Save your money and your dignity. DO NOT COME HERE.

A visit to the amwaj hotel in sharm el sheikh
What a great holiday resort, I have too say the staff were the best I've ever experienced in 14 visits to Egypt to many to name because everyone was excellent nothing was too much trouble the resort itself was very good plenty to do and the meals were really excellent I could only say, you need to visit yourself. You won't be disappointed.
