Amazing holiday as always :)
We have just returned from our 3rd stay at Diamond Beach and yet again it didn’t disappoint. Staff were amazing as always. Special shout out to Hossam and Mahmoud at the adult pool, we hadn’t met them before but they both really looked after us. Sharif the chief at breakfast in Gamilla went above and beyond poaching eggs for my husband every morning and always had a smile and a chat. Abdul (sorry if it’s spelled wrong) was very attentive and hard working both at breakfast in Gamilla and the Italian on an evening. We mainly ate at the specialty restaurants this time. The food was great and all the staff were amazing as always, far too many to name but I’m sure you know who they are. Special thank you to Ahmed who looked after our room (block 8) It was beautifully clean and he always asked if there was anything we needed. His towel art was fantastic and the monkey hanging from the ceiling gave us a real laugh. The entertainment team worked really hard as always and there were different activities. We didn’t join in the nightime pool party but it looked like everyone was enjoying themselves. Eliana did a fabulous job everyday coming round the adult pool to let us all know what activities were on and it was lovely to chat to her. She works really hard and always has a smile. The staff really are a credit to the hotel. I noticed some reviews said the staff were being nice to get tips, but we can honestly say we don’t think that’s true. The staff are genuinely nice people and extremely hard working. They care about the guests and whether they are doing their job to the best of their ability. We did notice this year that the senior management team wasn’t as visible as previous years. We did see them and the chief did do the rounds to make sure the food was good, but it didn’t feel the same. I suppose that’s just a change in management structure and work load. We didn’t have any problems so it was fine, just didn’t feel as personal. The only thing that did bother us was on our last day. We couldn’t keep the room past 2pm even though we had a night flight. This wasn’t a problem, but we wanted to shower before we left and were told we could use the shower in the Spa. What reception didn’t tell us was that the Spa wouldn’t provide towels. We had already handed our room cards and towel cards in at 2pm, so at 5pm I had to go back to reception to get towel cards, then go back to the pool to get towels. When I returned my husband had been given a towel by the Spa staff, so I’m not sure why it was an issue in the first place. It’s probably helpful to inform the guests to either keep hold of a towel or ensure the Spa are making towels available. I’m not mad about it, it was just an inconvenience running around for the sake of 2 towels. Overall another 10/10 holiday and we will see you all again next year :)

The hotel was beautiful, honestly best hotel ever. The food was top notch, the cleanest food ever. The salads, the seafood, the pasta was amazing! The hotel was so clean, from someone’s coming from Los Angeles, this is way better than hotels in Beverly Hills. The sea view room I had was the best, the view was beautiful. Overall if I could give it a million star review I would. Really recommend coming here! I would also love to thank Chef Araby, he was the best and was so sweet!
Great Hotel
We stayed at the Sunrise Diamond Beach Resort from 9th–19th August as a family of six (2 adults and 4 children aged 16, 16, 14 and 12), and overall we really enjoyed our stay.
This was the first hotel we have stayed at in August where you could go to the main pool after 9am and still find plenty of sun loungers available! The hotel itself is spotless, and our rooms were clean and comfortable.
All of the staff were amazing — friendly, helpful and very attentive throughout our stay. The choice and variety of food was also excellent. We particularly liked being able to book the different restaurants as many times as we wanted, which really added to the overall experience.
Location was around 30 minutes from the airport and around 10 minutes from the old town.
We did a boat trip and the sand buggies whilst we were there and enjoyed both.
Our only negative experience was the room situation when we first arrived. As a family of six, we had booked two rooms, with one adult and two children allocated to each room. Before travelling, we had emailed both the hotel and TUI to confirm that both rooms would be twin rooms with an additional bed, and this was confirmed to us.
We arrived at around 10pm and were allocated two rooms in Block 6. The first room had only two single beds made up, while the key cards for the second room didn't work. We returned to reception, where the cards were replaced and the second room was then correctly set up with three single beds. We were told that we would need to wait for the first room to be prepared.
After waiting, we checked the room and found that a sheet had simply been placed over the chair to use as a bed. We were then told that there were no other beds available. Eventually, after going back and forth to reception, my partner and two of the children were moved to a room in Block 4.
The room itself was absolutely fine, but by this point the hotel was fully booked, meaning we were unable to have rooms together for the remainder of our stay. It wasn't the end of the world, but after travelling as a family of six and having specifically confirmed the room arrangements in advance, it was an extremely frustrating way to start our holiday.
Aside from this initial issue, we had a fantastic stay and would happily return. The hotel, food, staff and overall facilities were excellent, and the positives far outweighed the initial disappointment with the room arrangements.

We had a wonderful stay at Sunrise Diamond. The rooms were clean, comfortable and well maintained, and the service was excellent. All the staff were very kind, friendly and always ready to help, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The entertainment was also a great part of our holiday, with fun activities and a lovely atmosphere throughout the day. A special mention goes to Eliana, the Italian animator, who really stands out for her energy and enthusiasm. She is always smiling, active and involved during the activities, creating a fun atmosphere and encouraging guests to join in. She knows how to make everyone feel comfortable and brings a lot of positive energy to the whole team. Overall, a beautiful resort with excellent service, wonderful staff and a great atmosphere. We really enjoyed our holiday and would happily come back! ❤️

I really enjoyed my stay in this hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was very pleasant. The hotel is tidy and beautiful, I would like to stay here again once I come to Egypt again!
