A superb Trip
This was an excellent holiday and I would very much recommend this resort, especially the Dive-In Scuba School there. The food and service were first-class, especially by Ahmed in the restaurant and his colleagues both of whom were called Mohammed. In the Lobby Bar, a great place to hang out I would particularly like to recommend Ramz and Moustafa, whose patience, professionalism and attention to detail were highly commendable.
Honest review
Returned from Golden View last week. Room was comfy and perfect view over the red sea. The staff are exceptional, always going above and beyond, even walking round the pool cleaning your sunglasses and giving cold towels due to the extreme heat. Always coming over filling up your drinks, giving fresh cold fruit, never worried about a sun lounger, there are plenty and never felt crowded even within the restaurant. Now the food, yes there is something for everyone to eat, however think the place could do with a kids area as feel if you have kids with you they may struggle if you have picky eaters. Animation team, afraid THE worst I have ever seen and I have seen some terrible ones in my time, to a point when a lady felt uncomfortable being on the stage for the Miss Renaissaunce night they wouldn't let her off the stage, very unfriendly and did nothing to get to know their guests, which is a shame when all others went above and beyond. Wouldn't return but the staff we dealt with provided us with lovely memories so thank you. Something I think should be considered is having fridges dotted around site with bottles of water, a kids buffet station and perhaps someone walk around and pick up dirty dishes that are left outside rooms for over a week in the heat. Don't want to come across negative but these few things and a better animation team would make guests have such a better experience. Ps dont worry about mozzies, I usually get eaten alive but not 1 bite this year!!! And the bar staff in my pic need a pay rise 😁

One of the most amazing experiences is Renaissance Sharm Elsheikh Golden View Beach Resort. Spacious hotel, immaculate cleanliness, comfortable atmosphere and facilities, well maintained rooms, extensive amenities, a wide variety of tasty food, and well chosen hotel team. A big thank you to the General Manager Mr. Bassam, Mrs. Nagwa Omar, Mr. Mohamed Anwar, Mr. Islam, Mr. Mohamed Kadry, Mr. Ayman at the restaurant, Tarek at the bar, Ahmed from Stylist team who was top-notch caring for our rooms. Thanks to all hotel team. We would gladly stay there again. Highly recommended.
Back for a second year – still a good choice
This was our second year staying at the Renaissance Golden View, so obviously we liked it enough to come back. Overall, we had another good holiday and I’d say it’s good value for money, especially compared with some of the other resorts in the area.
The reception staff, restaurant staff, bar staff and pool staff were all good. A special mention to Ahmed the lifeguard, who was brilliant and always friendly.
The food was good and, as a pescatarian, I found there was plenty of choice. The drinks were decent as well.
Our room was clean, and the cleaning staff did a good job. The pools were clean and the beach was clean too, with plenty of space to relax.
The hotel is quite spread out, but the golf carts are really useful and make getting around much easier, especially in the heat.
The snorkelling is also really good. There’s a good variety of marine life around the reef, so you can spend quite a bit of time in the water just looking around. Definitely worth taking a snorkel with you.
The animation team are friendly, although some can be a bit pushy when trying to get you involved in activities. I understand they’re doing their job, but sometimes you just want to sit by the pool and be left alone.
We used the spa, which was good, and the massages were really good. I also had my head and face shaved there, but unfortunately that wasn’t great and could definitely have been better.
The diving centre, DiveIn Sharm, was excellent. The team there were really good and we had a great experience with them. If you’re into diving, I’d definitely recommend giving them a try.
Overall, it’s a good hotel and we enjoyed our second stay. It’s not perfect and there are definitely things that could be improved, but for the price we paid, we felt it was good value for money and we’d consider coming back again.
Out of this world 🌎
I must say this. Been home a few days now and what an experience we had. The hotel is immaculate. The room was so spacious and clean. Room 5010 . And the view was out of this world. I massive shout to Mo the bar man at the pool bar is the Greatest member of staff . So kind and helpful. And yes so was the pool guys as well. One slight downer the food in the evening is to russian orientated. And no chips. 🤣 Thank you for making our stay the best we have ever had. Hopefully see you next year.
