My wife and I spent an absolute dream week in Sharm El-Sheikh. Beyond the beautiful atmosphere and top-notch facilities, what truly made our holiday unforgettable was the exceptional hospitality and warm smiles of the staff.

I stayed here for a week with my friend and we’ve been to Sharm a few times between us, and we’ve never experienced staff as amazing as Royal Grand. Everyone was lovely and welcoming however a few people in particular made our holiday. Omer in the Soprano restaurant kept our drinks topped up and remembered our drinks, Ahmed Eldhlab at the pool bar was amazing, a member of security (possibly the head of security), and also management in general. I unfortunately left my phone in a taxi outside of the hotel and they went above and beyond to try and help, constantly checking up on me. I thankfully managed to get it back but the concern and care I received from them genuinely touched me. So thank you.

The food was really good, I’ve never had an issue in Sharm but my friend has and he was absolutely fine this time in this hotel. Food is varied and cooked well, everything is spotless and the room was huge, immaculate and had everything we needed, bottled water was available at all times and always put in the room. Our cleaner was also on it everyday and always said hello in passing. We spent quite a bit of time outside of the hotel in the evenings so we didn’t see as much entertainment but from what we did see it was good and a lot of effort it put into it. We especially loved Zumba and aqua gym in the morning. We didn’t really interact directly with many members of the animation team, but appreciate the work they put in. Ipoo was really welcoming in particular.

Another thing I wanted to point out is that when I come to Egypt I struggle really badly with mosquitos no matter how much I prepare, but the lobby smells distinctly of citronella. And I don’t know if it’s coincidence but I wasn’t bitten a single time this trip so it shows small effort that makes a big difference.

The only negatives for us was we had a couple of experiences where excursion sellers would not take no for an answer. We’ve been to Egypt before, we understand it’s their job and usually no is enough but the pressure was quite intense this time. However, nothing horrendous and we did the quads through the hotel and we had the best time. I also had a massage in the spa and it was unreal.

Overall, we loved our stay so much, the hotel is beautiful and spotlessly clean but the staff absolutely make it. Thank you Royal Grand. 🤍
