The worse vacation we had ever! Now we are here and I can say is not a 5 stars hotel at all, maximum I can say is 3 stars. If you want a good and at least clean room you need to pay some money to the reception guy but you can’t be sure you will get the room you are expected to have, and anyway everything is old, even at the main entrance you can see the poorest of the hotel. The menu in the main restaurant is very poor, don’t expect too much on the beach bar, you can receive just some tea, water, sprite, cola, coffee made in a tea pot cause the coffee mashine is working every other day, no cappuccino as I said the mashine …just add some milk by yourself ….
I chose this resort expecting a genuine 5-star experience, but unfortunately I left disappointed.
There are some positives: the rooms are spacious and comfortable, the air conditioning is excellent, and the golf car service is one of the best things about the hotel. I also want to specifically thank Abanoub from housekeeping for keeping our room very clean and for his excellent service, and Seif from reception for his hospitality.
Unfortunately, the negatives outweighed the positives.
The food tastes good but lacks variety, with very limited salad and fresh fruit options. The drinks selection is also surprisingly limited. The restaurant has an air-conditioned section and another section without AC, which becomes very uncomfortable during peak meal times when the air-conditioned area is full.
The pool and beach areas feel too small for the number of guests, making them very crowded. The aqua park is also quite limited and some slides were unavailable during our stay. Entertainment was another weak point, with very few activities and repetitive evening shows.
The most concerning issue, however, was pool hygiene. I witnessed two separate fecal contamination incidents during our stay, including one in the children’s pool while my children were playing nearby. This was extremely concerning and significantly affected my perception of the hotel’s hygiene standards.
Overall, there are good employees and some good services, but the experience did not live up to my expectations of a 5-star resort, especially considering the hotel’s rating and the expectations that came with it.
I hope management takes this feedback seriously, because there is clearly room for significant improvement.
I got a premium room ...the Ac smells bad. I complained 5 times .nothing was done.. The lobby tables and chairs are litteraly dirty.. The resort is far away .nothing around it
The hotel rating is 5 stars but its not woth than 3 stars! Rooms are not clean, staff not friendly. The entire resort is old, it has one pool only that is too crowded and the beach is very far down a hill. The buffet is not clean and food doesn’t look good. We booked 5 nights but checked out directly couldnt stay in it. Atmosphere is too loud and cowded specifically in shared spaces And value wise its soo overpriced
Just returned this morning from an amazing 2 weeks at Dreams beach resort. We had a lower sea view room & the view was stunning. The staff at this hotel are amazing, so friendly & really made our holiday, especially Shady Ravat who works around the pool & works so hard every day & smiles constantly. Also Eric who made sure we had everything we needed around the pool. The pool bar staff are brilliant, especially Ebrahim Sabry who was so kind to us. The food was great & the restaurant staff were fabulous, especially one of the managers Amir who was so kind & helpful.
We left the hotel with new friends for life & will definetley be back next year. Thankyou for the memories Dreams beach. See you again soon xxx
