Serves are so bad stuff not polite we pay a lot to have good holiday but after this experience we will not come back here anymore
This is now our fifth year at the Park Regency and it's firmly our go-to in Sharm. What keeps us coming back is that the hotel never stands still — each year brings subtle but genuine improvements, with new bars and restaurants opening that keep the place feeling fresh rather than tired.
For us, the real difference-maker is the Club Regency. Upgrading to it turns an already strong all-inclusive into something closer to ultra-inclusive, and it lifts the whole holiday. It's run by Amr, who runs a tight ship while being genuinely attentive to every Club guest — he sets the standard and it shows throughout.
The whole Club Regency team are excellent, but two people deserve a special mention. Mahmood, the restaurant manager, is across every guest and makes both breakfast and dinner feel personal rather than processed — he remembers you, and that makes all the difference. And Mohammed, the lifeguard who looked after us across our two weeks, was always on hand with a cold drink at exactly the right moment.
One honest note for fellow Brits: the hotel is predominantly Russian guests. If you're after a lively crowd to make lots of new friends, this may not be the one for you. For us it's a complete non-issue — we go to relax and unwind, not to socialise — and we've never found it a problem.
If you want a well-run, steadily improving resort with standout Club Regency service, we'd recommend it without hesitation. We'll be back next year
Rooms were clean, there was entertainment every night, the food was different every day. Most of the staff were great especially Omar who was our lifeguard and Ahmed who was a bartender. The young lad Salah who was a waiter was also great. A few things to note was that we went as a group of 8 and found it difficult most nights to find a table for all of us to sit together. Also be aware that some of shopkeepers there will try and scam you so make sure to negotiate.
Amazing snorkelling and it's so good that you could probably see everything you want in the hotel reef instead of buying a boat trip. Saw sting rays, eagle rays, eels, puffer fish, barracuda, and many other amazing fish. There needs to be stricter enforcement of Russian guests standing on the coral reefs. It should be mentioned at check in, or have a lifeguard in the water. Often they would just crawl along the coral reef doing even more damage and the lifeguard would say nothing. Its crazy how people don't know or don't care that they're damaging the coral! Also saw a Russian lady trying to grab a barracuda which is stupid and dangerous. Again there should be education given at check in about respecting wildlife.
Rooms are nice, although some room showers are disappointing quality. Good selection of food and drinks, and the bar staff by reception are nice, in particular Mohammed who wears the green shirt at the bar. He's very friendly and looks after his team well. Gardens look lovely and the gardening team do a great job.
Some of the bar staff at the pool bar are not as nice, in particular a young man who expected guests to lean across the bar and get the drink from his hand. He needs some serious lessons on customer service.
Great selection of facilities for couples and for families, although the worst part of this hotel is the showers that you use after you've checked out. It's good that they have them, but they are of VERY poor quality. When we went to use them the staff were so surprised and gave us hand towels to use! Drains blocked, no shower gel, temperature stuck and poor water pressure.
First of all the photos in trip advisor is fake, the pool area and sun beds are completely different, poor quality. The territory of the hotel all in all is very green and beautiful, perfect beach and corals for snorkeling. But pool area really need renovation. We got a nice room, sea front, it was cosy with nice balcony, spacious. Although shower was smelly. Room service was nice and room was always clean except shower. About food - it was the worst part of hotel. It was very poor quality, disgusting taste, impossible to eat. We had all inclusive so We thought as everywhere you get everything, but here if you wanted fruits, juice, ice cream that are better quality you had to pay extra. We spent lot of money eating outside the hotel because if was impossible to eat inside. Only thai reastaurant ( a la carte) in hotel was good but you also had to pay for it. Many of the staff was rude and tried to trick us with the prices and money. Very bothersome. Spa quality really bad, massaeurs where with long nails, the towels on the massage bed was smelly, and the technique were awful. Last three nights at 22:30 constructions was happening near our room and we had to sleep somehow with the noise. Good thing the last night of our stay we complained about it and finally they gave us late check out so thank you for that. All in all experience was very sad, we would never go back to this hotel, and the price was kind of high..
