Second visit – sadly not the same experience
Second visit – sadly not the same experience This was our second visit to the hotel. We had such an amazing holiday here last year that we decided to return this year with our family, and unfortunately, this time the experience has been very different. The hotel itself is lovely. The rooms are fantastic, the food is excellent and the staff are amazing – always friendly, welcoming and helpful. We absolutely love the location, and I also had a fantastic massage on site which was a real highlight. Sadly, though, our holiday has been ruined by the animation team and, in particular, the loud, repetitive and often distorted music played throughout the day. We appreciate that animation is part of the hotel experience and understand that some guests enjoy it, but the volume and repetition made it extremely difficult to relax and enjoy the pool and surrounding areas. It is such a shame because we loved this hotel so much last year that we chose to bring our family back. We still have nothing but praise for the rooms, food, staff and location, but the constant loud music has made this holiday a very different experience from our first visit. I really hope the hotel management takes this feedback on board, as with some changes to the volume and music, this could once again be the fantastic hotel we remembered and loved.
