The staff were very friendly, welcoming and always ready to help, which honestly made a big difference. The food was also really good, especially the dinner. Everything was fresh and tasty, and the chef deserves a special mention, we really enjoyed his food

We Stayed here for a week all inclusive from the 2nd to the 9th of October and it was honestly the worst holiday I’ve ever been on. The room was dirty, not cleaned properly for the whole week the bed sheets had not been changed at all, towels weren’t replaced and personal items had been moved around put in random places, the beds are rock hard probably would have had a better night sleep on a sun lounger. We booked all inclusive, our first morning we went for breakfast it was all disgusting and the drinks were just as bad, no cocktails, mocktails or standard juices. Either Stella, which you only got half a glass of, Pepsi or 7UP. Nice coffees you had to pay for, decent alcohol you had to pay for, food at lunch by the pool like chips and pizza you had to pay for, we ended up spending 300 L.E a day on chips and pizza because it was the only decent food they had and that would have to do us all day. We both got so unwell off the food there. The staff are absolutely terrible, so rude the entrainment staff would constantly bug you and make you feel so uncomfortable, even if you politely told them no thank you for joining in on the activities they would pressure you and hover over you making you feel bad for declining. The other staff like managers, waiters and receptionist were the worst, I asked the restaurant manager for a beer he said no we need to save it for our Russian guests they are more of a priority. Then one night we made friends with another english couple and two friends travelling together, we all had dinner together which lasted 10 minutes because the food was so bad, then went outside for drinks to watch the fire show which was the only good entertainment we had all week. I asked for 6 beers for everyone, the same manager told me only in espresso paper cups you are not allowed glass outside. I understand this as glass breaks and it’s harder to replace, after being told this we went outside to see a group of people, who were Russians with pint glasses of beer, we went back in and told them we want 6 beers in glasses, they said no I told them they needed to tell the group of people outside they’re not allowed glass either then. He then continued to tell me they must have got them from another bar, and that it was okay for them, we were made to feel like children the whole time and that we weren’t trusted with actual glass. The staff made rude and inappropriate comments on English girls bodies, making us uncomfortable from the very start. If we could have eaten out every night we would have but considering this hotel is in the middle of a desert and literally nothing else we had no choice and the fact that we paid for all inclusive and couldn’t even enjoy it was so frustrating. Dahab city is beautiful, great food and people we went twice out of our week, but couldn’t afford to keep going otherwise we would have. Please do not stay here and waste your money on all inclusive it’s really not worth it the staff are rude, and the rooms are disgusting and the food will make you unwell! Do not believe the TikTok’s and Instagram they have or the photos on the website they don’t have cocktails they don’t have decent food it’s all fake and all for the camera they literally have an entertainment member of staff follow people around to try and capture activities to make it look fun.
