All of them are sumptuously decorated with elegant and comfortable furniture, guaranteeing a good night's sleep. Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Our second visit to PLR was as wonderful as our first visit in 2025. The staff are as amazing as everyone's review tells you. Nothing is too much for the staff to help you. The guests comfort is the absolute main priority and PLR achieve this, seamlessly. We'll be back as soon as we can π
Wonderful hotel Stayed for seven days full vip package and suite Staff all are wonderful from the cleaners to the managers canβt do enough for you If Iam being picky I would say this is not quite up to the standards of a five star hotel but a excellent four star (just needs a bit of TLC in a few areas) food is very good in all restaurants but we found the Chinese the best but you will need to pre book No problem with sun loungers by the pools or beach wi fi is pretty good but does have a few problems now and again. Would we return? Yes One negative the pharmacy in the hotel reception is very very expensive!!!!
It was a pleasant stay overall. The hotel was very clean, and although the interior was a bit dated, it had its own charm and elegance. The staff were exceptionally polite, welcoming, and always willing to help. The food offered a good variety, and the evening shows were entertaining with a great atmosphere and setup. However, I think the animation team could improve by offering more activities, creating a livelier atmosphere, and adding more variety to the entertainment. The quality of the drinks could also be improved, as they didnβt meet the same standard as the rest of the experience. Parking slots was not inside the hotel premisses Overall, it was a luxurious and enjoyable stay, and I would recommend it.
Premier Le RΓͺve Hotel & Spa
11/07/2026 β 25/07/2026
This was our second visit to Premier Le RΓͺve, which is very unusual for us as we normally like to visit a different country each year now our children have grown up. That alone probably tells you how much we enjoyed it the first time!
Room (1440)
Like last year, our room was very spacious, spotlessly clean and had everything we needed and more. If I'm being really picky, it could probably do with a slight refurbishment in the next few years, but overall it was excellent.
We had a lovely pool and sea view, TV, Wi-Fi, fridge, a HUGE bed (you almost needed an Uber to get from one side to the other! π), plenty of wardrobe space and a large bathroom with a separate shower and bath, double sinks, toilet and bidet.
A special mention to Hassan, our room attendant. He was genuinely one of the nicest people we've met. Every day he created amazing towel art, and in the evenings he'd often run down the corridor to swap our beach towels without us even asking. Always smiling, always laughing and happy to chat.
Lobby
As I mentioned in last year's review, the lobby is beautiful, spacious and makes a fantastic first impression.
There's also a small shop (a little expensive, but handy) and two cash machines which felt perfectly safe to use. Egypt is definitely a country where tipping is appreciated. I generally tipped around 200 Egyptian Pounds (roughly Β£3), which seemed to be well received.
Main Restaurant
There was always a good variety of food and our waiter Bassem looked after us brilliantly every evening, always making sure we had a table and everything we needed.
The main dishes changed daily, which kept things interesting.
Thursday is Gala Night, where all of the Γ la carte restaurants close and each one has a section within the main restaurant so you can sample dishes from each cuisine.
The only downside for us was the evening dress code. Men must wear long trousers (even smart tailored shorts aren't allowed), while women can still wear shorts. It wasn't a major issue, but it did seem a little inconsistent.
There was also an outdoor BBQ evening on the lawn. Many people seemed to love it, but unfortunately our experience wasn't quite as good. We went around 8:30pm when it was very busy, and the food wasn't at its best. Although I do admit I'm a bit of a BBQ connoisseur!
Γ La Carte Restaurants
There's a great choice including Chinese, Italian, Mediterranean, Japanese and Indian.
We tried the Chinese, Mediterranean and Italian restaurants, with the Italian being so good we actually went twice! The Mediterranean is excellent if you enjoy seafood.
Pools
There are five pools in total.
Our favourite was the large main pool, although there's also a lovely saltwater pool, which was surprisingly good for cooling some mild sunburn.
There are also two smaller non-smoking pools, which as a smoker I didn't really use, plus an indoor pool.
All of the pools were exceptionally clean and the pool attendants were always happy to move sunbeds and parasols for you.
A huge thank you to Carlos, who kept us supplied with drinks throughout the day and always had a smile on his face. He's genuinely one of the nicest people you could meet.
Unlike many hotels, there was never a problem finding sunbeds. On several days we didn't even go down until around 11am and still found plenty available.
Bars & Evening Entertainment
There are several bars around the hotel, but we mainly used the Pool Bar as that's where the evening entertainment takes place.
The bar staff were fantastic, especially the evening team. They were full of energy, incredibly friendly and simply wanted everyone to have a great time.
The entertainment mostly consisted of singers (who occasionally forgot the wordsβwhich actually made it even more entertaining!), together with belly dancers, acrobats, fire performers (our favourite) and other acts throughout the week.
We also spent some evenings in the Long Bar, which stays open until around 2am and has both a pool table and a full-size snooker table.
Beach
The hotel has a beautiful private beach with plenty of sunbeds and parasols.
You can't really paddle because the shoreline is coral, but there's a long jetty leading directly into the sea where you can swim or snorkel.
If you enjoy snorkelling, I honestly can't recommend it enough. The variety of fish is incredible and I spent hours exploring the reef.
You can also hire golf buggy-style carts and drive along the private coastal road. Heading left takes you to numerous shops and restaurants where you can park and explore, while heading right takes you past other hotels where you're welcome to visit the shops too. Great fun and definitely worth doing.
Spa
We loved the spa so much last year that we booked it again this year.
We both had two full-body massages and pedicures. They aren't the cheapest treatments, but they are worth every penny.
Couples are treated together in the same room and during my first 60-minute massage I apparently started snoring... although I still think my wife made that up! π
The therapists were excellent and extremely professional.
The only slight negative was that the spa sales team around the pool could be a little persistent during the first couple of days, but once you have a tan and don't look like a new arrival, they tend to leave you alone.
Overall
This hotel is absolutely fantastic and it's the staff that really make it special.
The hotel and surrounding area feel extremely safe, with plenty of visible security.
I'd also recommend taking a taxi to Hurghada Marina, which is full of lovely restaurants, shops and some incredible boats.
Special Thanks
A huge thank you to everyone who made our holiday so memorable, especially:
Carlos β for endless drinks, crisps and making us laugh every day around the pool. Moussa & Mahmoud β evening Pool Bar legends who knew exactly what we wanted to drink before we even asked (and kept the surprise shots coming!). Bassem β for looking after us so well in the restaurant every evening. Hassan β for the incredible towel art and for being genuinely one of the nicest people at the hotel. He was so excited when my partner surprised him by making towel art for him in return! Mohammed in the spa β for somehow making my terrible feet look the best they've ever looked! Final Thoughts
I genuinely struggle to understand how anyone could leave this hotel a poor review.
If you're looking for a relaxing adults-only holiday with fantastic staff, excellent facilities and a wonderful atmosphere, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Premier Le RΓͺve.
Thank you again to everyone at the hotel.
Carl & Jane
We have just returned from a 2 week stay at Premier le Reve Hotel & Spa. The staff there are truly amazing from the top down, from Mr Farouk making his daily rounds to check everything is running well to the point he even takes his lunch in the main restaurant. The managers are friendly. Ibrahim and the team could not do enough to make our stay special. The waiters were lovely and very attentive to all our needs. I would also give a shout out to the room guys Sayede (who remembered us from another stay ) and Ahmed who looked after us during our recent stay. Ahmed worked so hard to make sure our room was spotless each day. It was a joy to come back to our room. Nothing was too much trouble and we were truly spoilt.
This is a very special hotel, we will be back.
