KaiSol Romance Resort

Good morning everyone, Just back from our recent holiday to Kaisol Romance Hotel. I always leave an honest review as I feel like me, reading reviews helps people choose the best hotel for them. In my opinion Kaisol Romance is not a 5 star hotel,the staff do however give a 5 star service. It's not cheap to stay here,our first room seemed dated,especially the bathroom,shower was over the bath but the grouting,seal in the bathroom was stained and marked,dont get me wrong its a little thing I know. We did however upgrade to a jacuzzi suite,lovely room and fabulous location straight onto the quiet pool. The food was fabulous,especially in the a la carte restaurants.. However the drinks..left a lot to be desired, We know its a Muslim country but the quality was poor, we found the cocktails poor,the spirits were low quality,so was the wine, and the beer,Oh the beer! It's served from a can which is fine, but it never seemed cold enough,glasses were sometimes warm,we saw on occasion staff using up already opened cans of beer then topping up with a new can.The beer was constantly flat, we have stayed in Egypt before and had better choice of drinks,i feel the Kaisol would benefit from some selections of cold draught beers. (We just enjoy a cold beer or a shandy on a super hot day). Now let's talk about my experience with an upset stomach..dear god it was horrendous 2 full days in bed, Both myself and my husband was ill with diarrhoea for more than 5 days in total,2 days of which were spent fully in bed. Our friend had 8 days of this and has had to go to the doctors on return yesterday for tests. We lived of water and tuc biscuits for days. The hotel is very beautiful,a little dated in places and has a lot of concrete space. The Staff make this hotel what it is, Amir who was our waiter at the quiet pool,was so attentive and caring especially when we were ill,he made sure we had plenty of water and brought mint tea with honey to try and help settle our upset stomachs.

Mohammed (bold head)in restaurant was great,not only amusing but again attentive and caring. The ladies at breakfast, Erna,Agnes and Lovely were just fabulous, always had their lovely smiles on there faces. Mohammed our pool chap was also super helpful and was always cleaning throughout the day. We were in a party of 4 who love to travel, but unfortunately we wouldn't come back. Sorry Kaisol.x

We have just returned from our fourth stay and on this visit we celebrated a birthday. Thank you to all the staff for making the day so special with our room decorations, cakes and wonderful food. During our stay we had the opportunity to visit the bakery section of the kitchen for a cookery lesson with other guests and the chefs who work so hard in preparing the wonderful selection of bread and pastries available. We were so impressed with their attention to detail and the strict hygiene standards they insist upon during food preparation. It is impossible to single out particular members of staff that made our stay so enjoyable as all of them from senior management to the hard working cleaning staff are part of a dedicated team. Our advice to any guest who may have an issue is to please tell them through guest relations or reception of your concern so that it can be addressed promptly. We will be returning for a fifth time in April next year and looking forward very much to enjoying the wonderful beach, food and warm hospitality.
