Pickalbatros Oasis Port Ghalib

We stayed at Pickalbatros Port Ghalib as a family of four during the last week of July, and our experience was truly 5-star.

A special mention must go to the cleanliness, which was absolutely outstanding — almost obsessive in the best possible way. Both the rooms and all common areas were spotless, and the entire resort is beautifully maintained and cared for.

The staff were extremely kind, welcoming and always ready to help. Our tour operator, Brixia, was also very present and helpful, offering a wide range of excursions. We chose the trip to Abu Dabbab Bay, which was absolutely wonderful and definitely worth visiting.

Another major strength of the resort is the access to the sea: a beautiful private beach, very well organized, plus two piers that allow easy access to the water and the chance to swim right next to the coral reef. Both piers are always supervised, which we really appreciated.

Another real highlight is the huge central saltwater lagoon, which is truly impressive and gives the whole resort a very special and relaxing atmosphere.

The food was also very good, with six different restaurants offering a wide variety of international cuisine. We especially enjoyed the Arabic dinner, which was excellent.

The entertainment team, largely Italian, was very well organized, friendly and, most importantly, never intrusive. They were always present and engaging without ever being overwhelming.

We also had some wonderful experiences at the SPA. The massages were fantastic, and we especially loved the salt cave experience — so much that we did it twice! It is definitely something we would recommend trying.

Overall, we had a fantastic holiday in a beautiful, extremely well-kept resort with excellent service, great food, a wonderful sea and plenty of opportunities to relax. We would definitely come back without hesitation. Five stars, fully deserved!

It was a truly unforgettable holiday! The hotel impressed us in every way. First of all, the food was delicious—a huge selection; everything was fresh, varied, and truly tasty. Everyone is sure to find something to their liking.

The hotel is very clean and well-maintained, and a huge plus is the wide choice of pools, ensuring everyone can find their perfect spot to relax. 🏝️☀️

However, the biggest highlight was the beautiful coral reef and the amazing fish that can be admired right off the hotel beach. It’s a true paradise for lovers of the sea and the underwater world! 🐠🐠🐠

We have stayed at Pickalbatros hotels in Marsa Alam over a dozen times, and this September marked our 7th or 8th visit to Albatros Oasis Port Ghalib. We always choose to return here because of the hotel's wonderful location, comfortable rooms, and the incredible atmosphere created by the amazing staff. From the gardeners and room cleaners to the bartenders, waiters, chefs, receptionists, managers, and the guest relation team – everyone makes you feel so welcome. The Oasis holes is only 20 minutes from the airport, at the Port Ghalib area. Beautiful gardens, green areas, flowers and palms. Great, huge salty lagun, few pools and a lot of space. As vegetarians, we are always delighted with the food. The meals are varied, with plenty of fresh vegetables and fruits, meaning we always find something delicious to eat. Fresh fruit cocktails, hibiscus drink, water with lemon and mint. The hotel and rooms are exceptionally clean and well-maintained, and the beds are very comfortable. The Aquapark and the lazy river are the icing on the cake, adding so much fun to our stay! What impresses us the most is how guest-oriented the hotel is. Any requests, issues, or suggestions are handled immediately. Additionally, the Wi-Fi works perfectly throughout the entire property. The beach is pristine and regularly cleaned, with plenty of sun loungers available both on the beach and around the pools. A great touch is the 600ml bottled water freely available in coolers all over the resort. A big plus also goes to the soft drinks like Cola, Cola Zero, Fanta, Sprite, and Schweppes Tonic, which are poured from bottles. However, as a small suggestion for improvement, the apple, mango, pineapple, and orange 'juices' are unfortunately quite low quality, containing less than 10% fruit and a lot of sugar. Perhaps this is something that could be improved? We would like to express our huge gratitude to the staff. Our young room cleaner, AbdAllah Saled, went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. He kept everything spotlessly clean and responded to all our requests in a flash! Special thanks also to our Friend Adel Abou Elela from the reception team. For years, he has been an incredibly friendly, professional, and invaluable member of the staff. Big respect goes to the Restaurants Manager for his amazing hard work and kindness- he is trulythe right Person in the right place. Shaban A.Sattar – thank you for your care, help, and constant smile during our meals. Zyad Ashraf – thanks to you, our time by the lagoon was absolutely fantastic and relaxing. You are a champion!
