Fancy land
The hotel itself is beautiful, and the staff are genuinely wonderful, especially the team at the lounge and Agora Restaurant. I would especially like to mention Mr. Sayed at Agora, who was exceptionally kind, welcoming, and professional.
However, my experience at Fancy Land this time was honestly a major disappointment. This is not my first stay at the hotel, so I can clearly see the difference compared to my previous visits.
Unfortunately, the atmosphere at Fancy Land has changed significantly. Some of the Egyptian and foreign female staff come across as unfriendly and, at times, discriminatory toward the children. There is also a foreign woman who speaks extremely loudly while interacting with the boys, which is very disturbing and creates an uncomfortable atmosphere.
What concerns me even more is the lack of proper safety measures during some of the activities organized for the children. When it comes to kids, safety should always be the absolute priority.
They also removed the ice cream freezer that the children used to really enjoy, which was another unnecessary disappointment.
Overall, Fancy Land has lost much of the fun and welcoming atmosphere it used to have. This time, I found the place dull, unpleasant, and disappointing. As someone who has stayed at this hotel before, I really hope the management pays attention to this feedback and takes the necessary steps to improve the experience, especially for children.

The best hotel in Egypt. ❤️
I arrived at the hotel on Wednesday, and from the very first moment I entered through the gate, I was greeted with a warm and genuine welcome.
Everything was very well organized and fast from the moment I reached the reception. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, and I received my suite within a short time.
I would especially like to thank Ms. Sarah from the Reception Team for her professionalism and for completing everything so quickly.
This was my fifth stay at Xanadu, and every time I come back, I think to myself, “Maybe this time the hotel won’t be as good as the previous time.” But every single time, the management and the team surprise me by maintaining the quality of service and continuing to improve it.
One of the things I really love about Xanadu is how the staff manage to combine professionalism with genuine friendliness. They are professional, but at the same time they are kind, smiling, helpful, and truly happy to assist guests.
This was especially clear with the Aqua Park Team. They help you with a smile and with such a friendly attitude that you can really feel they enjoy what they do.

Main Restaurant
The main restaurant continues to maintain its quality and variety, and I can say this confidently after experiencing it for five consecutive years.
The chefs consistently provide excellent food, and one thing I always notice at Xanadu is the quality of the ingredients and products used, whether it is the juices, water, dairy products, or food in general.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner offer a wide variety that can satisfy different tastes while maintaining a high level of quality.
Swimming Pools & Lifeguards
The hotel has several swimming pools with different depths, including 60 cm and 125 cm, which is great for different ages and preferences.
The lifeguards are extremely helpful and attentive.
I would especially like to thank Mr. Alaa at the 60 cm swimming pool for his cooperation and kindness.
Entertainment
The entertainment program really satisfies different tastes.
Whether you choose the Sky Bar or the Show Center, sometimes you honestly find yourself wondering where you should go because both are enjoyable! ❤️
There are also many activities and games around the hotel, including chess, baby foot, billiards, and many other activities organized by the Animation Team.
À La Carte Restaurants
During this stay, I tried two restaurants.
The Turkish Restaurant was nice and the food was good. However, to be completely honest, I preferred last year’s menu, and I personally felt that the food was better last year.
The current experience is still good, but in my opinion, last year’s experience was better.
Many thanks to Mr. Sayed and Ms. Malak for their hospitality and service.
On the other hand, Agora Restaurant was absolutely excellent.
There has been a noticeable improvement compared with last year, and I actually found the experience better this time.
The service was outstanding, and I would like to sincerely thank Mr. Hassan and Mr. Bishoy for their excellent hospitality and wonderful service.
Shuttle Bus
The shuttle bus makes it easy to reach different areas of the resort.
However, I believe the system last year was slightly more convenient, as there was one bus dedicated to the Aqua Park and another bus going directly to the beach.
This year, having one bus serving both the beach and the Aqua Park can sometimes make the waiting time longer than last year.
I understand that this may be related to the hotel’s transportation arrangements, but from a guest’s point of view, I found the previous system more convenient.
Gardens & Overall Atmosphere
The beautiful green areas and gardens throughout the resort give you an incredible feeling of beauty, peace and relaxation.
Everything is well maintained, and even simply walking around the resort is an enjoyable experience.
After my fifth stay, I honestly have a funny problem: I love trying and reviewing different hotels, but my family and I simply don’t want to change Xanadu! 😄
So every time I come back, I find myself reviewing the hotel again and looking for what has changed or improved compared with the previous year.

An Unforgettable Stay , Simply the Best Hotel Ever
Just come back from a great family holiday (August 30 to September 4, 2026) staying in rooms 2117 and 2119. This was our third time at Xanadu Hotel, and honestly, everything was perfect from start to finish. Check in was super fast. I really want to thank Mr. Mohamed Abd EL Sattar, the front office manager. He is so professional, helpful, and supported us with everything we needed right away. The staff everywhere in the reception, housekeeping, and the beach are amazingly helpful and polite. You don't even have to ask for anything, they anticipate what you need and offer it with a warm smile and a great greeting. They are genuinely the most polite hotel staff I have ever dealt with. The food in the main restaurant is amazing. There is everything you can think of, and it caters to all tastes. For the a la carte restaurants, a huge thank you to Mr. Mohamed Ibrahim at the Ariel Seafood restaurant for being so polite and professional with us. Also, many thanks to Mr. Hassan at the Middle East restaurant. Both of them were amazing in every way. I don't have much more to add except that I’m totally sure this is the best hotel I have ever seen. Thanks again for everything
literally exceptional in every way, shape and form
one of the best experiences I've ever had in my life and this is coming from someone who stayed in a lot of hotels in and out of Egypt, easily one of the best hotels in the world, u can try hard to find something that u dont like but I dare u to find it, if I really had to nitpick something that I didn't like it would be that some of the food items once they are gone at the beginning of the buffet they don't comeback and they bring another item instead and this creates a sort of FOMO but still didn't bother me it really is one of the best hotels ever
