Great hotel for a family holiday
A great hotel for a family holiday. The rooms are a bit dated, but everything is perfectly sufficient. The staff is a bit less helpful than before, but nothing terrible. The food is much better than before—both the selection and the taste. A rich and great animation program prepared by wonderful people.
Fantastic Hotel
I have nothing bad to say the hotel was amazing staff couldn’t do more for you so kind! Katie one of the entertainment staff was so helpful and always on the ball with keeping us up to date with what was happening around the hotel! She’s was a joy to be around!
The food was amazing so much to choose from!

Fantastic experience
This hotel is beyond amazing come away work my partner and we had the most relaxing time ever. The staff go above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need or want the entertainment team are fantastic a big shout out ro Katie for the animation team she was fantastic from start to finish of our holiday. Another shout to Ahmed from the splash bar he was brilliant on evenings make sure we got a table and after first order he knew our drinks and we never had to ask again for another. I would highly recommend this hotel
Vacation of a life time!
We had a wonderful family vacation at Sunrise Royal Makadi Resort from June 28 to July 5, and we left with so many great memories.
From the easy online booking and smooth check-in to the quick check-out, everything was well organized. A special thank you to Mr. Mohamed at reception for welcoming us, making sure we got a perfect family room, and helping us extend our stay at a great rate.
The resort itself was fantastic. The pools were always clean, the aqua slides were great fun for both kids and adults, and the sandy beach was beautiful.
The food was another highlight. Everywhere you looked, the bars and restaurants were buzzing like a beehive, with everyone working tirelessly to make sure guests were happy and had everything they needed. There was a wonderful variety of dishes, led by the talented Chef Bahaa and his team. We especially enjoyed dining at the Shahrazad restaurant, as well as the Chinese and Mexican restaurants.
But the real stars of our holiday were the animation team. In fact, they're the reason we extended our stay by another three days! They somehow managed to keep both my teenage son and daughter entertained throughout the entire vacation, which is no small achievement.
A big shout-out to Gazza for the aqua aerobics and Zumba classes, Tito for the fun belly dancing class and for becoming surprisingly good at playing Screw—despite it being his very first time!—and Hamdy for his incredible juggling and balancing show.
A heartfelt thank you to Tereza, whose positive energy and upbeat attitude were simply infectious—I honestly felt 20 again! And to Andy, whose constant smile and cheerful personality made every day a little brighter.
And finally, a very special thank you to Michael. He was incredibly kind and patient with my son and treated him like a true friend. My son wanted to be with him whenever he could, and every time I asked Michael if he minded, he would smile and say, "We're a team." That simple sentence meant a lot to us, and it's a memory we'll always keep.
Thank you to the entire Sunrise team for making our holiday so special. We hope to be back again!

- very nice resort with many fun
- good location ( near from airport)
- friendly atmosphere from personal and staff
- excelent team of animators in resort...many fun for full day...
(games, theater, dancing, aquagym, profigym...)
- many swimming pools with bars
- free and available loungers and umbrellas on the beach and by the swimming podle
- wonderful sea live
~ ordinary standart room with good service
