Situated on a private beach, Serenity Beach Resort is a Moroccan-style resort 38 km south of Hurghada. It offers 5-star accommodation with Red Sea views with 5 swimming pools and 3 restaurants and features an aqua park at Sister hotel Serenity Fun City same location(with extra charge).
All the rooms include terrace or a large balcony with views of the garden, pool or the sea. They have modern wood furnishings and come equipped with satellite TV, air conditioning and tea-and-coffee making facilities.
The resort has an Italian restaurant, Royal Lounge, pool and beach bars that offers refreshing beverages, and a discotheque. Sea Food menu available in all a la carte restaurants.
Serenity guests can enjoy a relaxing massage, or play a game of tennis on the flood-lit court. The hotel has a diving center on site and is 500 m from the Madinat-Makadi Golf Couse.
Serenity Beach Resort is 36 km from Hurghada International Airport. It provides free on-site private parking and has a shuttle service available on request with extra charge.
Makadi Bay is a great choice for travellers interested in family friendly trips, water sports and swimming pools.

Lovely minus the pools
This hotel is beautiful, the staff are wonderful and the food is of good variation, plenty of drink choices if you like a cocktail and attentive staff that know what your orders are.
Please tip; it’s really important to show your appreciation and they all work long days.
The massage facilities on site are great along with the private dining available away from the buffet set up.
My only criticism is the pools, specifically the salt water pool to the left of the hotel as you walk towards the beach, it surprised us with how dirty it was and we haven’t seen any cleaning going on.
We did mention this to staff but nothing changed, there is a lot of black pieces floating in it and what should be white grout is black and comes away with the more people on the pool. Yesterday for example it was a haze of dirt and oil (sun lotion?) but a proper clean would fix this.
If this was corrected we would have zero concerns but pools really should we well maintained as a key part of your holiday.
10 days in serenity. Beautiful
This is a beautiful location. The hotel has everything you need for a relaxing vacation. The pools are great and the staff ate lovely. The entertainment team especially. A fantastic team of young people who are passionate about their jobs and genuinely like to see the guests happy. They lay on great shows but while just walking around they come and chat with you and are always asking if your holiday is good. And seem geniuinely invested in you having a great holiday. They work extremely hard and are always welcoming and smiling. The hotel has several restraunts and all serve fantastic food. I would happily recomend this hotel to my freinds and family and will be back in the near future.
Not what it looks like.
Arrived on the 19th June and got shown to our room. The complex looks lovely in the dark. Right where do we start Saturday Bathroom floor flooded them Sunday the drain back fires into the bathroom. Mouldy shower head, sharp tiles in bathroom. Telephone didn’t work. Woken at 8am to workman drilling away we had this for a full fortnight. Never got told about construction work happening. Very disappointing and when you’re trying to relax at the relax adults pool you couldn’t relax all you hear is machinery. Pool or my god it’s an hazard and unhygienic- pool tiles had 4 replaced while we was there, sharp grout in pool cutting feet. Uneven tiles around the pool and grout missing. Bedroom headboard falling apart , duvet cover blood on day we arrived never got changed on 15 days, flat sheet didn’t fit bed was showing fluffy blanket, towels oh my lord disgusting thin holes in, threads, and very small. Tiles in bedroom loose and grout coming out- so couldn’t walk around bedroom without footwear on. This hotel is not a 5 star hotel

Amazing holiday!
I had a wonderful stay but the animation team was definitely the highlight of my holiday. They were always full of energy, friendliness and made every day so much more enjoyable! But the two people deserving a special mention are Malak and Adelina!🫶 They were absolutely amazing! They always made everyone feel welcome and included and knew how to put a smile on their face. Their kindness, positive attitude and genuine care for the guests was just outstanding. It never felt like they were just doing their job they made every activity fun and every conversation meaningful. Thanks to them I made unforgettable memories and had a big smile on my face every second during my holidays.
Serenity Alpha vacation
I had a really nice stay at this hotel. The food was good, the overall atmosphere was great, and the whole staff was always friendly and welcoming. The entertainment team did an amazing job and organized fun activities throughout the day. Even though I was traveling alone, I was never bored because there was always something to do. I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend this hotel.
